Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! We’ve also added a timing twist: • Reds & UV start 15 minutes before whites to simulate sunrise. • Reds & UV finish 15 minutes after whites to mimic sunset, creating a more natural light transition. These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. Hello everyone😎 Week 6 of flower for the LCC🍋🍒🍪 All the top buds harvested✂️ I had a lot of fun growing this strain🤩 The smell is absolutely out of this world…the colors…💜 I have 3 different pheno,all purple,some smells more citrus and the others more ripe cherries! One more week for the lower buds and finito I already feel nostalgic😜 *what’s coming out of the yuzu is essentials oil,every year I make Yuzucello feel free to ask me the recipe🍸🍋

The start of cultivation was not at all favorable at temperatures below 10 degrees then came a storm that caused cracks and tears in the leaves ... The leaves were very dirty from clay and perlite, so I tried to wash them all with a paper tissue. The weather was not at all kind, so I added Advanced Nutrients- B52 vitamins and Rhino Skin to strengthen the stem and leaf I often meet different animals on my way through the forest, today I met a newly born young fallow deer

Weather is starting to get warmer finally and now we can see she start growing little bit. Nothing issues or anything just little bit worried if she start flowering like in next week cause its already 3 weeks veg to autoflower. 😊

Forbidden runtz is on its flush for harvest, fading away nicely and showing a few ambers now, hopefully just a week left as she absolutely stinks! I must need a new carbon filter because I can smell her from the garden now 😬😂. Og kush is coming along nicely now, starting to pack on some size in the buds. I upped the last feed and a couple of days later her tips were burnt so I gave her 4 litres of ph 6.4 water to get rid of some of the excess before her next feed. The sooner the FR is finished the better because she really needs spread out the colas are too close together! 21/8/21- both ph 6.4 water only. 23/8/21- fr final watering. 25/8/21- og kush feed.

Critical Cure is filling out nicely. Picked most of the inchworms off and have some BT showing up on Monday. She got a ring of Coast of Maine 5-2-4 around her base. I'll have to put up the tomato roof in the next couple weeks!
