🌸 Week 4 Flower Report: Growth, Challenges & Big Changes! 🌸 Hey, Grow Diaries Fam! ✨ We’re here at Week 4 of Flower, and what a week it’s been—packed with challenges, adjustments, and exciting progress! Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m incredibly curious to see how the plants react to these changes. Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. 2 Girls 1 Cup week 10! Fuck yeah, the end is near. Can't wait to reset and put the new system in. Day 70- today marks the girls 10wk from breaking surface. Having the windows open on a rainy day is cranking up the RH. I just turned the A/C on shortly after snapping pics. Closing the windows and turning on A/C should bring humidity down. I may take GC (depending on tricomes) and make bubble out of it. Stabbing her multiple times got her hormones flowing. Still don't think it'll be mature enough at chopping day, but I'm trying to think positive. WG tricomes looking good. Up top we have a few amber, mid section they're 90% cloudy. I will try and take a pic with my scope. Tried once and i need another hand or two to make it easier. Picked a sample bud off WG's mid section. Mostly cloudy, few clear, few amber. It'll help with air flow right?? 🤣 *edit* A/C is on the fritz.. need to bring home a multimeter and diagnose. ======================================================================================================== Day 71- anything else want to break on me this week? Today my inline fan took a shit.. next day air a replacement, and hope the smell doesn't escape between now and then. Burning a little Nag Champa here and there for the time being. ======================================================================================================== Day 72- keep forgetting my DMM from work to diagnose the A/C. I'll remember one day, prob after WG is cut and hanging lol. Camera went offline for a period on day 71, so there's no timelapse of it. Have been thinking about ending it since there's no big changes daily like before. Didnt even set one for today. New inline fan installed at 6am this morning. I can tell ya after using two cheap ass fans that vivosun is louder than ipower. Both rated at 195cfm, but the new vivosun pushes MORE air from the outlet on the lowest setting compared to the ipower on high... going to have to figure out something for the noise though.. sounds like a jet engine. Lowered Temps during day and night is bringing back the terps! Both of the girls smell AMAZING. only checking tricomes daily on WG though. She determines chopping day. Mostly cloudy with equal number of clear/amber. Shooting for 50/50 cloudy/amber. Heady buds don't have any medicinal/psychoactive effect on me. Love the taste, but does nothing for my pain or insomnia. *edit* they're eating and drinking less by the day. Figure it's time to drill the girls. A few hours before lights out, late in their day. #7 drill bit right through their hearts 🤣. It sure did make GC ramp up when I stabbed it each of the 5 times. Bro Science may be onto something here... ======================================================================================================== Day 73- took another "sample" off WG. right side, if you scroll from 72/73 you'll see which one is missing. ======================================================================================================== Day 74- combination of cooler outside temps and the new inline fan have helped bring temps in the tent down. Daytime high 77F, night time low 66F. Nice swing and cool enough will hopefully bring out some purples, but not really pressed if it doesn't. The SMELL is what I wanted back, and I got it!! Not baking the girls in the low to mid 80's anymore is really helping. Dropped the TDS from 950's to 750's since TDS was slightly rising and PH dropping. Indicating too many nutes. I hung the "sample" in the outlet duct to speed dry it yesterday. Still damp, but tried anyway. This is gonna be some good bud, if I don't fuck it up that is.. need to grab a tricome pic for the diary. ======================================================================================================== Day 75- EC still rising and PH dropping.. took 8L out and added 8L bubbled/PHd TAP. Dropped RES from 668 to 365 @ 5.9. WG is looking great. Can't say the same for GC 🤣. I can't let my mistakes ruin GC rep though. It's my fault she's not making it to the finish line smiling. ======================================================================================================== Day 76- EC still climbing slightly and PH still dropping slightly as well. Went ahead and drained the RES, and flushed the WaterFarm with bubbled PHd TAP @ 132ppm. Tried to rinse some of the excessive salt buildup accumulated over the duration of the grow. Filled RES with PHd RO. Haven't been able to completely drain the WaterFarm since before the side RES was installed. So there's always a bit left over. Only took 4.2gal to fill her up. Can't wait to take a pic of the root mass below. Currently sitting at 80ppm @ 5.91. Days are numbered... watching tricomes up top, in mid, and down low for maturing. Tops 5-10% amber, mids 1-5% amber, down low still 10% clear. Today I switched the light to the flowering phase. The light is now on for 12 hours. All plants were fertilized with Hesi Bio Bloom. The Tropical Marker and the Plurple Kush each received 2 liters of water, and the Pink Gelato received 1 liter. I trimmed off some large leaves. I hope they have a smooth transition into flowering. Day 42: The girls are growing well. The Purple Kush and Pink Gelato received 2 liters of water with Hesi Bio Bloom and some Biobizz Calmag today. I dimmed the light to 60%. The Pink Gelato is catching up a bit, but is very small in comparison. Day 43: They're all still growing well. The tropical marker has been given 2 liters of water with hesi bio bloom and biobizz call mag. I've raised the lamp a bit higher. Here you can see how the stems of the plants have developed; the pink gelato has grown like crazy. The humidifier from Spider Farmer does a great job! Day 47: The girls look good; the first signs of flowering are visible on the Tropical Marker and the Purple Kush. I also defoliated them; it was definitely too much, and they thanked me a day later with preaching leaves. Unfortunately, the Pink Gelato didn't tolerate the topping well and only developed one shoot. I then removed this shoot. Afterward, I watered the Tropical and the Purple with 2 liters of water mixed with fertilizer and Calmag at a pH of 6.3. I set the ventilation to 50%.

Sooo another update : Week 4 This week starting with Mulch, using hay, first time for me. Plants Are looking very good and are growing Nice. Snapped a Branch on the Right one .. Sad. Very sad. Switch will be done at may 1st so in realtime we Are on day 45 of flower! Lets say they are still alive ✌️ See you soon Happy growing

E voilà! Dopo 120 giorni e ben 7 ore consecutive di pulizia oggi finalmente ho raccolto. Aspetto di pesarla tra due settimane ma ad occhio è stata la volta migliore di sempre, non ho mai riempito 6 livelli della rete per l'essiccazione e non ci ho messo mai 7 ore a pulirla tutta. Bene. Le più scarse sono state sicuramente le due Peyote Critical, mentre la Blue sunset Shebert e le due Tropicanna Banana molto abbondanti. Non vedo l'ora di pesare 🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

Looking like i have a magnesium deficiency as show in the leaf pic. I'm Gonna increase the cal-mag. Day 37 : Pots were dry so fed 2.5 liners to the 5 gallon pot and 1.5 liters to the 3 gallon. Upped the cal-mag. Introduced Big Bud & PK Boost

•Morning of day 19, ¾ through week 3. Did a light defol on both ladies. I gotta say I'm a big fan of Big Bud by Seedstockers! This girl is going to be exactly what her name is. I know its early with roughly 40 days to go, but I will for sure be growing this girl again. Any suggestions drop me a line. Less stretching and more compacting of nodes. Very pleased! She's feeding at full strength and looking like she might want more. Very vigorous growth. °Agent Orange. 30" in diameter after LST. plant did NOT respond well to LST. AND IS 36½" tall (soil to top). Also showed signs of nutrient burn. The girl is fantastic :) she looks strong, healthy and happy :) next week, I will defoliate her to give energy to the flowers, and at the same time improve air circulation closer to the stem :) everything is going smoothly and well :).

Tapering nutes off for the flush. Also added a small amount of Barley as a top dress to help her finish off.

01/27/2021 Flowering going well Flowering #2,#3,#6 #6 is a week ahead of#2,#3 will put others in on week 4 for a staggered harvesting 01/30/2022 watered with fungal tea and some aloe mixed in for amino acids and other goodness. Well see how she progresses in 4 days Also working on some banana peel tea to give a boost of potassium if I do next week it should be available for week 6-7. Ps. Fuzzy Mellon (bag seed male) I will pollinate one lucky branch on #6 as she is my favorite. But number 3(tall and lanky one) will get pollination of one branch as well. I can't wait to see how they recombine with fuzzy melon smell mixed with burnt rubber and model glue and pine. #2 no pollination (smaller one) #5 (bonsai) and #8 are males. So 3 female out of 8 seeds. Going to make some feminized seeds next time,so I'll have plenty of female's for a staggard harvest.

I've topped this beautiful girl 16 times, now I'm going to take some time off from the stress to get out, then I'm going to put on the scrOG net and switch the light cycle to 12/12, she feels great💚🌋

Today is the start of GC's 4th week. I started tying her down...evening up the canopy a little bit. I usually get rid of the 1st and/or 2nd node, but hers are long enough I went ahead and kept them. Her canopy really opened up nicely, and everything is pulled down pretty evenly. She is going to be really nice. I haven't introduced any nutes except what is in the FFOF soil. I will start with a small feeding in the next week or so depending on what she tells me. So far I. Super impressed with 420 Fast Buds!!!!

Dit wordt de laatste week dat ze de power roots en pure zyme krijgt, vanaf volgende week zal ik deze vervangen voor de green sensation. Ik zal gedurende de week foto's updaten. Day 1: Auto flowers are getting some nice crystal. Purple Kush smells nice, Pink Kush smells like wet veg. The root mass on Purple Kush is huge! The photos were defoliated, and finally both showing flowers. pH is 6 Day 3:. Finally got to LST Red Purps, she really needed it. I pulled some of the Purple Maroc branches and tried defoliating, but it's thick in there. The previous LST still has a lot of branches bent, but a lot of new growth has popped up. I wonder if it's because I broke the main collar last week. I have to find more weights to tie down the last few branches. Day 7: Purple Kush wreaks of grape bubble gum. Pink Kush wreaks of gas.
