Week 5, now we are talking, she is stretching and the roots are growing at a really nice rate. Feeding is almost at the recommended max without her showing signs of overfeeding, I always increase and try to push the plant but you need to go slow, step by step and see how she reacts, always give her 48 hours to see how she copes with the new dose, If she looks healthy stick to dose for the week and increase the following. A good trick to see if you plant wants more of less fertilizer is reading the ppm and check when the res level is lower after 3 days or so, if the ppm rises but the water level doesn't go down quick she has to much feeding. If the PPM stay the same or drop with quick water intake means she takes it in very happy and maybe can take more. Will continue to rise the dose till we reach the recommended max of 2.5ml/l, might play with the ratio later on.

Day 77. Maybe a bit early, but no space and one Smoothie went for a date with bud rot ;))) didn't want to loose that nice top. Very frosty, nice gassy smell surrounded by fruits. Day 82. Second girl is down. Both small as you see, but with few branches will produce seed packaging cover type plant. Maybe second got some purple fade ... First was very nice by structure. Day 85. First went to jar. How lovely it sparkles and smells !!! Solid strain, even being so small by structure. Day 89. Second is in jars too ! Happy Growing !!!

Day 42 to 49 We are getting closer to an end. Is the second time I’m growing purple genetics and I can say that somehow look to be faster to finish their life cycle; I think the next week will be the beginning of flushing, so I will just give water at PH 6.5, without any fertilizers, till the end which I believe will be around day 65. Apple Betty Seedlings 🌱 are doing great! They are looking very healthy and happy. #1 was slow from the get-go but she has been building steam and is doing well. Routine this week was was just checking the humidifier every morning, and spritzing with my spray bottle x2 daily (very small amounts) starting at the base of the plant, but also making sure to get the exterior edges to allow those roots to be searching for water. Changed the light cycle to 18/6 around day 7, and also adjusted my BloomPlus BP 2500 to have 140 watts at the wall. Didn’t lower the light as the increased wattage seemed to slow down the stretch they initially had. Still using my small 250 watt heater behind my intake fan to draw some heat in and keep the tent nice and cozy, even during lights out (about 75-76 *F) By day 14, I started to water with a measuring cup, still using my 1 ml of Sensi Cal/Mag extra. Watering only about 1/4 cup of water all around the pot, and will wait until the soil is dry’ish (the old finger poke) before I start to increase the watering amount gradually. No nutrients yet, but I will be using the Advanced Nutrients- Grow, Micro and Bloom along with the Sensi Cal Mag extra. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

Hab heute (31.1) die Apple Fritter aus dem Zelt geschmissen. Kollege ht sich gefreut, hat leider gespargelt, hab sie noch für ihn umgetopft auf 20L. Wird ihr denke ich sehr gut tun wen sie die nächsten Tage gut behandelt wird. Die Apple Fritter geht dafür gut Steil. Hat wie die anderen gute Stickstoffmängel aber die hab ich hoffentlich gelöst bekommen. Jetzt wo auch mehr Platz im Zelt ist wirds denke mal :)

Hope yall had a good week! The girls sure did. Everyday I take a peek and do my daily watering and they're bigger than the day before. Upped the PPM's to ~400 this week, kept the pH at 6.0, and upped the Calmag. Also picked up "B-52" for some root health. Gonna use it on some other plants in the house as well (I grow veggies hydroponically year round). The plants are starting to give off an odor if you smell them up close, pretty neat. Work was a bitch this week so I missed one day of watering, flushed the plants and seems no damage done. Don't wanna make many mistakes like that but its bound to happen. Here's my boring daily notes for those interested. Suppose to assist root and stem growth, got it really cheap at the hydroponics store. Disculpen las fotos, es que las saque para consultar. Bueno primero que nada fue una semana de mucha tormanta, lluvias y humedad. lo peor que nos puede pasar en floracion. Segundo intente hacer supercroping ya que las ramas seguian superando el tejido y les llegaba luz en la noche. Y me salio desastrozo, mi primera vez. Pero los otros punteros que superaban la altura, los hizo mi compañero que sabia hacerlo (No tengo foto, luego actualizo). Y Tercero que debido a la humedad se ven en las fotos como aparecio hongos, por lo que pude observar era solo ese poco, lo cual ya fue removido vamos a ver como continuamos.

This is the first week of flowering. I've changed the nutes from veg to flowering. The plants look incredible! I had to raise the LEDs to 100 centimetres from the plant again, because I've noticed that they get too much light. This week I have a new family member, her name is Sarracenia. She will help me to get rid of gnats. This will be an experiment, I'll add some more carnivorous plants in the future updates!

Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one

9/19 - I did the thing y'all!! Both plants chopped at day 77! These are the chonkiest things I've ever had the pleasure of growing/handling. Time will tell how much they shrink in the dry. The plants are all drying in my dark tent and trying to get close to 60F/60% RH, but really closer to 65F/60% RH, so I don't freeze in my home lol Put up one more vid before I chopped. I still need to take a pic of TA roots, which are pristine!!! If you see the DG root pic, you can tell how hard it got stunted by the vacation fiasco. Can't wait to make some rosin and trim these up! Slightly nervous of drying based on the density, so I cut more dry leaves than usual, but I don't want to risk mold. Day 65, 14th of November 2020: Amazing week.... RQS Wedding Gelato does not strech a lot and pistils coming out nicely.... Original Sensible Seeds has amazing gentics they are so strechy except Black Ghost OG, rest of them crazyyyyyyy..... I also broke two of the sides from Gelato Original Sensible Seeds but fixed with tape and now all good lol 🤣🤣🤣 Pre flowers out and I really hope they stop growing lol. I also noticed that the Original Sensible Seeds strains have nice purple colours of the fan leave's stem. All the same fertilization happens every 2nd day with the mix above and ratio. One more thing: I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so they receive 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when they will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week....
