Week 9 - flushed with plain water. Plants have a great smell and are insanely sticky! Buds are looking very dense and heavy, a bit more than round 1.

Another big jump in height this week; we are starting to lose sunlight here by about three minutes a day now. I heavily defoliated these plants at the end of this week, and took off any “unviables”. I also topdressed with some extra bloom nutes and some new soil to help keep some moisture in. As of the date of this post, we are just coming out of a heat warning, and it’s been 47 days without measurable rain in my area, we are also seeing pollution from forest fires northeast of us in our province. It’s hot; it’s dry, and now, we have this eerie light that I call “the fire sun” Luckily the goils seem to be thriving as best they can in the midst of it all. ☀️ 🔥

Gave both ladies a topping. Will be pinning down the bottom leaves in a couple of days. Will be doing a whole lot of topping for these girls. Things are really heating up so should pick up the pace here

PICTURE VIDEO UPDATE - 10/28/2020 Day 49 - 10/26/2020 Bud site established. Nice big base in relation to my tent. Both nice and strong with new LST + Accidental HST in the last week and a half. Made the best Screen for a ScrOG i've made so far but the accidental breaks during LST/HST didn't heal up in time for me to risk a snap getting them in the net. Good news is the screen is ready and waiting for the next grow (Might go back to photoperiod) Very excited to watch the buds grow so i gave them their final major tie down and defoliation to get the light/air flow set so the final weeks can be hands off. Gave a feeding of Molasses/Water on the 24th and will give another full nute mix feed today or tomorrow (27th/28th) Going to take pictures of the Chocolate Mint OG Autos and give them a final snip/clip down today and get that diary updated by the end of the week as well 🙌 Thanks for checking out this week! Week 4 of veg was the most problem free so far. Lots of growth and things really starting to take shape. Started some lite LST on Gorilla Cookie and a few ties on the other strains. Removed some of the lower leaves that were lagging and damaged from the earlier pests invasion. By the end of the week all strains were pre-flowering with Purple Punch leading the way (all bud and few leaves) and Gorilla Glue in last place. Not surprisingly these two strains were the least and most effected by the pests. Purple Lemonade is a shorty but looking good I think, maybe stunted growth due to the pest/heat issues in the first couple of weeks? Gorilla Cookie is nice and bushy with plenty of bud sites. Although for the time being I'm pest free I'm keeping the Ladybugs in the tent. As there is hopefully no food for them on the plants so I keep them happy with a few raisins soaked in water with a couple of drops of raw honey mixed in. This seems to keep them happy and they stay mostly in the semi open tent. I let the pots dry out for 2 days for the first time since I started the grow. They were thirsty when they woke up on the last day of this week and this is when they received their first dose of flowering nutes. Again 50% of the recommended dose consisting of 50/50 veg/flowering nutes. So pretty much up to date with the diaries now. This is my first grow so I would really appreciate any advice, tips and pointers from the experts here :)

Ak4 is growing a lot, with lots of vibrant colors, and gaining a lot of weight. Ak3 is the slowest of them all, the smallest, but it's gaining weight at its own pace and resining well. 12/12 from seedWatering with filtered tap water every 2/3 days, when the pot is lighter Soil: peat, coconut powder, perlite, carbonized rice husk, sheep manure and worm humus. essential mineral mix, vegetable flours, vegetable cakes, biochar, bokashi EM1 and other organic inputs, Algae ascophyllum nodosum small pots 3,7liters // 1gallon light: lm301h-evo 120watts with other plants

I ran into a few problems with this grow as it was my first indoor organics grow but I know where I messed up so I shouldn’t repeat those mistakes. With that being said the quality of the cannabis is still there and I am excited about starting again using DWC next time. I love Humboldt genetics and I will be growing more of their lineup in the future for sure.

yeh, forgot to add the new week the other day. Oh well. Didn't miss much of anything. Timelapse for the last week starts us off here, as usual will update as the week goes on if anything notable happens. -3/14/2021 - Been slacking off on progress updates and pictures. However, progress has been damn good. Recovery from topping is over and the plants have adjusted to the new pot sizes.

I've defoliated to keep them short and to keep good light penetration with the bonus of lower humidity. Little buds are starting to form

with some problems with them 2 ... one of them has fungus again and the other lack of nutrients ... waiting for her evolution to be good ... she gives off a nice smell ... and hoping to try it ... and waiting to see if it takes its purple color

We have a stand out! There is one beautiful girl that is showing some beautiful colour, structure, frostiness, and fade ❤️ they are all very dense and frosty but this one girl has stolen the show. I cut their nutrients to almost nothing after running phd water for two waterings consecutively, still a few more weeks to go. I’ll be starting my routine soon if just phd water, but in a slightly higher volume to start breaking up any pockets or salts that may have been forming. Thanks for stopping by, won’t be long! 🇨🇦❤️👊
