Week 7 update on these big girls. The uniformity on this strain is wild. All the plants look very similar and have stacked great. Still early into flower but the sweet smell followed by the pungent smell of OG. Excited to see how the next couple weeks do. All in all Happy

Bending the plant makes it stronger

Lots of foliage growth over the last week. Not much height growth though. Little sister is now nearly twice the height of her but with much less foliage. Not sure if the height thing is something i should be worried about. Ive only got a 60cm x 60cm x 140cm grow space for 2 plants so short plants would be great, so long as they still produce a decent crop.

Day 57 from seed and these BCN’s are smelling the best so far. Very citrusy smell! I think this is my last week of feeding these girls, and straight to flushing the plants next week. Im going to give them an extra week or two and see how it goes!

End of Week 11 (Fourth week of flower) The ladies are frosting up more and more by the day and there are trichomes everywhere! I Added about 8g per plant of GHF BioBloom and a cup of worm castings a small final feed to make sure the ladies have what they need to grow big dense buds. And increased the CO2 to 1400ppm and in 2 weeks time I will cut the CO2. The main top-sites are bulking up more and I am very happy with the inter-nodal spacing as well as the bud formation. Trying to keep the training to a bare minimum and ONLY removing fan leaves that are blocking bud sites. I have been keeping a cooler average temperature - and also keeping the relative humidity lower. Pest Report: None

AK-47 Goxuak Autoflower by Genehtik is a truly awesome plant and really really fun to grow! My 1st thought was I wish I had know more when I ordered the seeds. I only bought 1 from the single seed centre .com 🤦‍♂️ Of all the plants our house sitters watched for us back in week 7, this is the only one they regularly ask about and want to know when its finished. Even they loved growing it! And they only spent a week with her and aren't gardeners 😄 Ashoka started in a Jiffy tomato pod and was transplanted almost as an afterthought. In fact we ran out of containers and had to improvise with the water pitcher. (We didn't have high hopes) Oops. The pitcher turned out to be a big benefit in that I could see the roots and diagnose and potential issues. She has been in the same Fox Farms; Happy Frog soil ever since planting the pod into the pitcher. The soil held up good too. Ashoka didn't start showing any deficiencies until the end of week 6, around the middle of her stretch. Correcting this was very easy, we added the recharge at first but it didn't quite do it. We had to feed her Advanced Nutrients Bloom and Grow for about 2.5 weeks. But this Goxuak really never complained : 1:😎 Low Stress Training (LST) for Ashoka was a breeze! At 14 days she was 4" tall and too short to train. She doubled in height in a week and we started training around day 24. Just in the nick of time too! She entered flower about a week after that and stretched like crazy!🤪 the AK-47 gave us about 3 full weeks of nice flexible branches to train before hardening up. We ended up with a pretty even canopy and some solid colas too I wanted to touch on the lighting as there isn't a lot of options on this platform. Ashoka spent her life under 2 different lights. 1st, she sprouted and spent the first 4 weeks vegging under 2x Viparspectra 600w(250 true watts) LEDs at an 18/6 light cycle. She finished her flower and fade under A Optic 8 (500 true watts) LED. At 18/6 At around day 60 I started flushing her.(well my house sitter Sam did the first time) We used Cyco Kleanse and flushed 5 Gallons thru her until the ppm was down to 350ish, I did the next 2 flushes. The 2nd I used Kleanse again getting the runoff ppm to ~120. Her final week I stopped ph-ing the water and just watered tap. I also gave her the 3rd and final flush with straight Ice cold tap water. She really showed a great fade!! Some buds definitely colored up too!! Finally the Harevst: I put her in a 5Gal bucket of ice in complete darkness for 4 days.😈 This was done with the intent to help her produce more resin and frost up. I can't say if it truly worked. She absolutely doubled the trichome production in those 4 days, but idk if it was the time or the darkness and ice. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I kept her in a sealed closet with a oscillating fan and humidifier at 75°and 63%RH. On the 3rd day I lowered the RH to 50%. She got trimmed and put into jars on the 5th day after harvest. I am monitoring the humidity and burping regularly (8-10x a day) Smoke Report: Creamy pepper with a cherry syrup aftertaste.🤣🤪 I've only smoked a bowl so haven't tested the ashes. But she is curing nice. A bit harsh yet I expect will go away after a couple more days. The high is perfect tho! Just what we wanted. It creeps up on u. But you will be confused by the time you finish the bowl. A very cerebral high(I chopped her whole trichomes were only 10% amber) that was great with good company. My girl andI are both veteran smokers, but this bud still made us both giggly(a rarity). It's a good social smoke and was fun to be on around others. The only downsides were it caused a mild confusion and paranoia. Like I would forget what I was talking about then worry ppl were laughing at me for it(they were though) 🤣🤣 I plan to report more feedback after it had cured a couple weeks. I'll invite others people's opinions as well. Right now I can definitely say the AK-47 Goxuak from Genehtik it an autoflower I would recommend to anyone, but especially new auto growers. I will be ordering more next season if they ate available. Genehtik has won me over. They genetics were extremely stable and safe. No herms no deficiencies nothing but greatness! 🌱🌱🌱 I had to share! I was looking on the breeder Instagram page( @Genehtik_chile) and they used a few of my pictures of Ashoka to represent their AK-47 Goxuak auto. I really feel honored by this. I have only been growing for 5 months and know I'm not good, but it's inspiring and motivating when the breeder of the strain give you an attaboy like this. Thanks Genehtik! I harvested the 2 plants and I’ve got them drying in my 4x8 tent. The temp in my tent is staying between 60F and 64F and humidity is 58%-60% they’ve been drying for 10 days so I’m hoping to get another day or 2 before I start trimming. I’ll post an update once it’s all trimmed and weighed up

Absolutely enjoying this period of forming buds, crystals and smell. Just let her do her thing for a couple more weeks and then be the happiest dude alive :D Perfect color perfect shape no nutrient problems, biobizz straight A, 5/5, amazing

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * These came out pretty good, #1 was a lanky bitch and leans heavily toward my Ciroc cut but has these sweet lookin pink tips. I feel like the buds could have filled out a little more but maybe I will run it back and if they do fill out I will hit it with the MC2 pollen and make some fems. #2 is the mutant and is ridiculously frosty, usually when I have a runt it comes out decent at best but this one outdid itself. The buds actually came into shape pretty nicely, they are a little slim but the frost is insane. Some of the photos of #2 might look like I didn't take them compared to my usual photography style and that's because my girl took them, she is a little more artistic than I am but it was her first time using the new camera so some are slightly out of focus because the ISO was too low and there was a little camera shake. 12/4: I flushed them both today and took some photos. Their buds have gotten so dense that the branches can't support any of them...added a bunch of bamboo stakes for support. I'll harvest them in another day or two. 12/5: Harvested both of them. Very heavy plants! 12/9: Still hanging to dry, and very well protected.😁

Training has been continued. She is developing very nicely. As of today she has been switched to 12/12, as the net starts to get busy and anticipating another stretch I thought it would be time.

7eme semaine, it’s tiiiime to fluuuuuuuuuush

This first week in flower was a bit more exciting than previous weeks. I decided to put in a scrog net to help spread and even out the canopy. So naturally, I 3D-printed one. (Yes, I can be that nerdy.) Besides, it was the quickest and easiest solution as I don't like the stretchy-net kind so need a frame. Much easier to download a file and press print :D Installing it was a breeze and I also cleared away most branches and leaves below the screen. The stuff that won't make it above the screen and will just result in a bunch of larf. I'm still seeing chlorosis (which I suspect has to do with her transitioning into flower and stretching), so I gave her a bit of Orgatrex and Bactrex.
