Reduced the humidity further, set it to ~40% right now, but since we're in a severe heat-wave in germany right now (we are peaking at 30°C indoors and ~33°C in our "growroom") our dehumidifier is working overtime. Defoliating every few days, leaving us with sticky fingers and scissors. Buds are developing fine and growing very quickly in size. Leaves are getting more and more frosty, even removed some when defoliating and took a look at the trichomes under our mikroskopic lense. Very beautiful and dense trichome-structure; especially on the buds. The red-purple coloured parts of the buds, mentioned last week, are developing nicely and much quicker than expected. Even spotted some milky trichomes on the headbud here and there.

Plants coming out of the seedling stage, even though it´s time to transplant, that will have to wait, my small veg tent does not have room for any larger pots at this time, will keep the plants in the small 0,85 liter pots untill my larger flowering tent is ready for new plants, harvest time is next sunday, then there´s about 10 days of dry period, so in about 15 - 18 days i can transplant and move them over (hopefully sooner). I plan to top them early on, let them branch, take clones of each, flower the clones before they are rooted to get them to show sex, re-veg the female clones and dispose of all the males, then transplant the remaining female seed plants to 11 liter pots and flower them. At least that´s the plan so far.

Day 29 - Things going along nicely .... i trimmed down some of the bigger bottom leaves, i didn't have enough soil to fill the pots, and the plants are short, bushy, weird little things, that filled out the inside of the pots..... they are only 15cm tall, but the leaves are 10+ cm .... really weird little plants.... haha.... i decided to trim the fk out of one of the ones in the double pot, and practiced topping on her.... i'll cut her down maybe trimmer her of the pot, and focus on just the 2........ they seem to be still growing upwards, so i'm not in a hurry to put em into flower mode......... on the main one i noticed some neut deficiencies ... so i upped the neuts.... should be ok, i put a good heavy neut and it stopped the spots etc..... i think some bug or something got in the double pot and is livin in there, but he doesn't eat much, haha....... the main stalks are as big as my thumb and under each canopy is all the branches..... it's really strange, to go in under all the growth and see it all .... they look kinda small, but the entire under canopy of leaves is all full .... i'm moving the huge sized leaves out and pulling each branch up over them as they grow..... this is 21 THC and 19 CBD, so it's all the good stuff for medicine ... the smell is getting abit noticable and i'm hoping the exhaust fan arrives from china soon.... just got positive ventilation into a carbon fil. ... and daily air out........ i think i had the led lights too low..... so i'll raise em abit more and see if i can get em to stretch .... 1 GC last stunted survivor, 1 SG stunted survivor and remainder 2 SG and 3 SS are going good let's see where this grow will take us. I tried germinating Gorilla glue 4 but both of them didn't push through after sowing them. I might be doing something completely wrong while sowing. Can't push more seeds through germination because the rest of them are at different stages of grow and everything will fall apart. Let's hope the 7 plants make it through fingers cross. Review: Plants aren't as green as I would expect them to be either the medium is too inert that they are turning yellow and stunted. So I tried fixing it with aggressive push of nutes and checked the EC and now it's at a comfortable 0.70 average among all the pots improving from meager 0.20.

Fractal week 18 & 19. 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring the ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. 12/2/2024 - Starting this post a little early since it doesn't start until tomorrow. That said, two of the three plants are in flower while the Mystery Seed remains in Veg. I would expect it to transition and stretch over the next day or two. The other two plants (Granite Runtz & Frosted Cherry O's) are growing/stretching rapidly easily putting on 1-3 inches of growth per day. I have decided to top dress throughout flower with Gaia Green Power Bloom. I'm just a little leary of the Grow Dots fizzling out towards the end so I'm going to use a slow release organic to top dress with high in Phosphorous. These plants couldn't look any better and now my focus will turn to caring for all the bud sites and making sure each nug gets plump and dense and as big as it can get. I'm banking on a 1lb crop total from these three plants. 12/3/2024 - Ok we're into week 6 now and two of the plants are well into flower and the Mystery Seed is showing pre-flower now and is stretching out. I expect it to catch up with the other two in the next few days. Everything is going extremely well and I couldn't be happier. This morning I fed all three plants with Recharge and Silica along with 2 liters of water PH'd to 6.5. I think watering is going to increase a bit still from here but I'm paying very close attention to moisture in the soil. I've got PPFD readings up near 850-900 across the canopy and with the addition of side lights I'm hoping that I can get some deeper penetration to some of the lower branches. I continue to build out my toolkit for future grows. 12/4/2024 - Probably my last post for this week unless something spectacular happens. Everything is going very well though I found a few rust spots on one leaf which I removed from the Frosted Cherry O's...nothing I'm too concerned about at this point. Overall things are going extremely well and the plants are growing beyond my expectations. Looking forward to the coming weeks as the buds start to develop.

Everything coming along nicely. I’ve discontinued all nutes but will give one more little top dressing to the cheese plant tomorrow then that’s it. Just straight stabilized RO water from here out. The slurricane is just packing on PM like crazy. The cheese has actually stopped the spread for the most part. At harvest I’m going to wash the shit out of the slurricane and cheese with some warm RO water and some h202 to get the majority of it dissolved. Other than that the quality of the slurricane is beyond ridiculous. It’s by far the stickiest strain to the touch in the tent. It’s probably winning for smell too. It’s straight gassy licorice pine. The pm susceptibility is a deal breaking drawback though. The cheese is looking good and smells great. It almost smells like rotten milk. Some of the nugs are really filling out into these nice long chunky little things. The pistils are turning a light orange/pink color too. Unfortunately it’s not maturing at the same rate and will make everything in the tent go for another 1.5-2 weeks. Garlics are looking better. The lanky pheno has filled out quite a bit more than expected and is super frosty with a great smell. It’s finally starting to purple up a bit. I think it will still be quite leafy around harvest but time will tell. Pheno 2 has better structure and density but lacks frost, smell and color. Not very impressed by it honestly. The zkittlez is looking great and getting super frosty. Especially around the crowns of the top colas. Lowers look like shit though. Despite being somewhat leafy, the main branches look quite dense. It’s probably the shortest and bushiest plant in the garden. It’s yellowing out quite a bit now and will probably finish with the blackberries and slurricane. The blackberries look amazing and smell even better. One of the phenos is a crazy producer and creates massive buds with musky berry terps. The other pheno is a beautiful purple strain that produces a crazy amount of frost and chunky golf ball nugs at the expense of large yield. It’s smell is very sweet and candy like and has been a very low feeding and maintenance plant. Slurricane #4 looks great aside from its infection. It definitely wins for resin content and smell but looks like a low yielder.

I'm so excited! This week she entered flowering! Almost doubled her height! Grew 22cm this week! I have transplanted her into a 10 Litre fabric pot. I've never used these before, but they look promising. Different to airpots. I'd say more extreme tbh. Oxygen to the root zone is never a bad thing 😎
