Well, here we are. 12 weeks of training, topping and pruning, she is filling the net and and in good shape for flowering. I will be making the switch to 12/12 today, so this was the last week of veg for this girl. Since going into the larger tent, she has had much better light, and she has responded with lots of new growth. She has been screaming for more nutes. Currently feeding Megacrop at 6g a gallon. I use R.O. water, and total EC of the Megacrop along with Cal Mag is 2.0, which is quite high (I think it is anyway, I've only grown autos before), but the solution in the Autopot trays is still reading 0.3 EC lower than the res, and there is not a trace of burn on her. I really have no idea how far I can push a plant of this size, so I'll let someone else tell me if this is too high. I estimate that by the time I've added Bud Explosion into the mix, the max EC at peak is going to be somewhere around 2.2-2.3, at which point I will be starting to lower N levels and will be dropping from there on. I'd love to hear input from anyone who has some experience with plants that have had longer veg times as to whether these levels are considered 'OK'. She certainly seems happy enough and is thriving for now, and I've been letting her guide the nute levels from the color of the leaves rather than sticking to a feeding calculator. I'm estimating a flowering period of 10-12 weeks, which goes well into UK summertime, which means it going to be super hot in the daytime, so I'll be doing the lights off period during the day, and lights on overnight when it's cooler and I can max out the Kingbrite without overheating the tent. Also, having only grown autos before, I've never had to worry about light intrusion as I just keep them 24/0. I never appreciated how much of the shit in the tent has little bloody lights on it. Had to go round taping up LED's on a few things to make it completely dark. I've also put the monitoring cam on the same timer as the lights, as it has an infrared sensor, so the power to the cam is cut at lights out. I've kept a fairly detailed feeding summary on a spreadsheet. As this grow seems to be going fairly well (so far) I may go back and update previous weeks with a bit more detail in case anyone is interested. tl;dr Flipping to 12/12 this week, growth good, girl hungry, Bud Explosion gonna be added to the mix this week, starting around 0.5g a gallon. We are only on day 29 from first planting the seed. This last week I’ve been doing a lot of work to the girls . I even MADE A NEW INVENTION for my MARS HYDRO lights so I can get a full rotation ... almost 9 out of the 10 plants are being trained /defoliate for mainlining .. and yes I know that’s not they way most people do it.. I’m doing a little custom mainline with 2 nodes instead of just 1. I’ve definitely been under feeding them the last week and a half so I caught on to that and started making sure they get all the water/nutrients they need. (QUESTION)!!! Does anybody know why my Blueberry’s 2 new tops are looking like the leaves are filling up with little air bubbles?

Everythings really blowing up now!started flushing the kushy kush and the payote cookies this week and should be pulling them within the next 2 weeks both, the blueberry will be anouther month still and it is amazing how big her buds are already!

The plant in the front is showing some sort of stress symptoms. All corners of all leaves are bend upwards. Generally also very interesting to see how different the phenotypes are of the two seeds. I have been feeding as recommended but havent been able to check the EC of the runoff as my meter hasnt arrived yet. So might be to do with the nutrients, maybe light or heat stress. As it is summer right now the temperatures have been quite challenging high

They have done so well this last week (I love when they start like a rocket after having fueled up with fertilizers) that we have already reached the good internode for topping autoflowering plants which if you want to do it guys it should be anticipated as much as possible as I explain below. The other one will fly away straight to preserve the main cola which is the main dilemma of topping. The first question you have to ask yourself when topping is, Are you ready to give up the main cola? Applied Techniques - Given the numerous requests from growers, we decided to show you what happens when applying topping + Lst to autoflowering plants. It is very important to anticipate it as much as possible, autoflowering plants go into flowering at about the 5th intenod, you have to anticipate that moment to give the plant the chance to vegetate as much as possible. Day 60....I've set them free from LST and I'm gonna give them plain water tomorrow..can't wait this last 2 weeks to go. As it is my first grow, i am already happy by getting closer and closer to harvest...can't really wait for the cure and the final results.

WEEK#9 DAY#56 :She could use some water . Easy going grow , slow vertical climb multi-lateral branching . I could selectively prune to encourage vertical growth but at this time I think the grow is going fine . I anticipated the plant being larger at this time athough I’ve never grown this strain before to know what to expect I think another 4-6 weeks of VEG will do her nothing but JUSTICE . Still watering to make those dry amendments available . After these 28-31 days we’ll transplant her into her final 6gallon pot . Or atleast I think that will be her final pot I see the benefit of stepping up pot size gradually and honesty think the growth is healthier when done that way I’m just being lazy and don’t feel like up-potting 3 or more times . I just wanna make small adjustments and move on ya know ? Week#9Day#56Update: 2/3 older girls showing signs of flushing, there’s heavy yellowing top of the plant & purple hues beginning to show. The two of them should have 3-4 weeks left & the buds have not even began to swell yet so I’m worried I missed my feeding time after I gave them nute burn beginning of flower so my fear is that my bud won’t swell & I’ve just jacked up my harvest the last half of flower. I’m going to try & get small amounts of nutes in there to help the bud develop without giving too much to mess up the end of flower flush . The final older girl isn’t showing any signs of flush it is the smallest of the 3 & therefore perhaps did not consume as much food as the other 2 girls is all I can think considering all three ladies soil came from the same batch of premixed “soil” they weren’t individually mixed It’s almost time to get these older girls out & get some note-worthy shots of “Cellie” growing All ALONE into this 5x5. Heavy heavy heavy defoliation. Will pony-tail when the fan leaves grow back out Week#9 Day#63 Update: started pony tailing her tops that are large enough to pin back without decapitating/severing the top . The top dress feeding I gave her still hasn’t become plant available yet. She’s still yellowing . I’ll be glad to see her park back up & continuing growing on. I purchased some worm castings I’ll top dress with a few tablespoons before watering her in & see if that perks her up until the Gaia Green is broken down. Shes almost tall enough to come down off that 1gall bucket even before transplant into a 6gal planter like the older girls finishing up .

📆 Week 17, 14-20 May 2024 14 May - Defoliated yellowing and older leaves. 15-16 May - Observed and let the plant mature. 17 May - Decreased DLI to help mature buds. 📑 Another decision was made to defoliate more yellowing and older leaves. There are plenty of green leaves left and the light now penetrates to the bottom buds. With about 2 weeks left in flower, this gives her ample time to get as close to matureing as a whole plant as possible.
