Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 PURPS ARE HERE TO STAY OH YAY!! Thinking about changing the title of this diary to that right there.. Like i said last week, purps are here to stay, nugs are 100% all purple though leaves are green. The smell has really come in this week. In spain we call this the Cali aroma, that high grade aroma. 😂 Kind of bummed that the buds aren't as big as I imagined but then again I wasn't expecting the purps so yeah, you get what you get I guess... They are getting a bit denser, so that's nice. Things are running smoothly.. In flower I use Enzymes once every 10 days or so to help out with the roots.. That's it.. hope you like the content. This week since Monday most of the pistils (little hairs) have turned from white to brown and orange. I continue to remove leaves that are obstructing the flowers. When I look through the magnifying glass the trichomes are some 60% clear, 40% cloudy, 0% amber. The goal is to harvest with these values in the trichomes: 0% clear 90% cloudy 10% amber

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. I moved the plants from the solo cups to the 1 gallon buckets by the end of the 1st week of veg. Now i am transplanting to a 3 gallon bucket because I will flower the plants in a couple of days. I topped once the plants on the 2nd week of veg.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. These girls are a pleasure to grow. On total auto pilot. Just water daily and pull dying leaves off the bottom of the girls. You get heavy tones of blueberry muffins when you open the tent.

Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

It’s another week of drooling here damn these are some juicy looking veggies, already dreaming of smoking them!🤤🤤 I feel it’s starting to get to the end of the line for 2 of my OG’s, will feed m 2 more times before I start the flush. Plan to have m around for at least 2 more weeks hope that’s enough to clean m out. Got another OG with a crazy amount of leaf growth. Don’t know what to think of it but it has a great color and will def need a lot more time to develop buds, same package of seeds, same strain, same veg treatment complete different plant 🤨 1 gorilla (top middle) had the filter dropped on him and lost the main cola, the rest of the buds seem okay but the little twigs on this plant are way to skinny to keep m up right. The gorilla in the top right corner got too close to the sun, I really thought it was a herma or something but I guess it’s just deformed during a week of extreme temperatures. If ya think I should just chop it off leave me a comment 👍🏼 Sooo really dont know if anybody is still reading but I’m gonna split this diary up in 2, I love this site and it would be better to document per strain for my own archive. And the contests only admit 1 strain per diary hehe 😏

Leider sind in Woche 5 nicht so viele Bilder entstanden, wenigstens ein kleines Video. In dieser Woche habe ich ein paar Blätter jeder Pflanze entfernt.

I cannot wait to see how this beautiful Queen is going to look at te end of the flowering stage, she’s the closet I’ve came to LST in a manner I wanted this baby to grow, loving how brunches twirl around the twig, l have stopped growing Christmas tree shaped babies. I LST from the seedling phase right through to flowering, you should not forget that this plant can take stress, imagine it was growing in the wild, some stress in your plant’s lie is critical for positive growth, from my point of view my trees are going to struggle with big buds, because it does not have this thick stems.

12/4 4th week now, the girls are full on flowering mode, every day they are bigger and bigger. 14/4 Today water with 1050PPM and Run-Off was 1150PPM. They smell very sweet, and they are super frosty and sticky.

Altura Sweet gelato auto 81 CM Altura Cmxl1 62 CM Altura Cmxl2 60 CM Hoy se realiza riesgo de 1 Lt , la Sweet gelato ha demostrado más signos de mayor requerimiento de agua, por lo que aumentarle la frecuencia de riego para esta planta. Me sorprende que la Sweet gelato auto ha crecido lentamente, alcanzando una altura considerable de XL, y ahora que ha entrado en floracion, se siente ese gran aroma dulce. Comienza la cuenta regresiva para las Cream Mandarine, cada día se aprecian mayor tamaño de las flores . Día 45. Riego con 1 Lt por planta Día 47 Altura Sweet gelato auto 89 CM Altura Cmxl1 67 Altura Cmxl2 60 Dia 48 Riego 1Lt por planta Aportes, sugerencias, favor comentar.

Sorry For The Delay but I was kinda busy ......Anywho on 3/19 I Changed The light Schedule form 18/6 to 12/12 To Begin My Pre-Flower Stage I Also Bent The Last Few Uneven Tops To Have A Table Top like Canopy (LST) Also Cut Off all Little Branches (Lollipopping) To Prevent Getting Any Little Pop Corn NUGs. Then ON 3/20 I Increased My Light Intensity From 25% to 50% And began giving These Girls There Flower Nutrients Listed Above . AN Updated Video Of the Week POSTED ABOVE Video Taken About 3 Days After Making These Changes And yes The are All Showing to Be Females
