My Rainbow Saltz plant has some lighter green leaves, so I gave it a dose of calcium this week, hoping they'll darken up. One of the branches wasn't keeping up, so I pruned it off. Now the shape of the plant is perfect for fitting against the wall in the tent. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

They seem happy so far, the living soil is a bit more dense than I'm used to so the soil has been taking longer between waterings than I would like. I just gave a deeper watering with 2 liters. And I'm aiming to maintain it with 1 liter every 2-3 days. I add a bit to the bottom first to see if it sucks any water up. And then usually top water the remaining liter.

First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. It's good for day and night, The best effect i noticed, is she can take away istantly my panic attack and axiety very very good for cure your hillness 👍🏻😉)

Absolutely loved growing this Blueberry Pie F1 Fast from Seedsman. Always big and fast right from the start. Buds were huge and nicely dense. First round of 1340 g wet yielded 372 g dried buds and second round of 1190 g was surprisingly large and also high quality. Final dry weight of 632 g which is pretty damn good for northern Canada (53 N latitude at Edmonton) by the end of September using just a 5 gallon grow bag. Most of this will be used as flower, but some of this will be made into hash. Will update further with hash making in a few weeks. Very impressed with this F1 strain and looking forward to trying another one next year, like maybe Gorilla Gas F1 Fast. Blueberry Pie F1 Fast is a great strain. Congrats to Seedsman on these big, fast and tasty genetics, and thanks for letting me try it.

The start was easy as it gets just add water the first 20 days and LST every day. When i saw some of the lower leaves start to change color that's when i started to add nuits. after that it was just following the instructions foxfarm already had laid out for me. I cut back by half in the start of my feeds but by the end of my grow I was at full strength. Testing your run off is key. All the plants are really🔥 My favourites are still 3G and Wedding Gelato. The smell and Look is crazy. You will see i guess Also North Thunderfuck and Hulkberry is good looking. A little bit of lst and the usual maint on the canopy. Iv notice that some plants are having issues with brown/copper spots forming on some of the leafs edges. Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Nice bit of progress from last week. Bud sites are starting to grow out, buds starting to form. She's way behind the other ladies in forming buds but then again she was planted 6 weeks after so she doesn't have the same veg time. She's also a Sativa, which has a longer flowering period that also might have a lot to do with it. It seems as if she stopped stretching. I sure hope so, because what i've mentioned last week about raising the other ladies has already been done. I used whatever I had laying around, shoe boxes, PlayStation box, old ballast boxes and any other box I found sturdy and useful.. 😂😂 Branches are spreading apart so most likely add a little support around them. That way in flower hopefully they won't fall over. Picture were taken on day 27 of flower. That's pretty much it, still watering every other day. I think that's something I don't even need to mention anymore. As it's just the way I water.. Have a great one! One love!

This first week was setup preparation for grow an finally planting seeds in soil. I have had a lot of success with pre-soaking seeds in 50/50 hydrogen peroxide distilled water for 24 hours. Then planting directly in soil in the size pot they are staying in due to autos not liking transplant. Seeds were soaked for 24 hours and planted 1/4 inch deep in Fox Farms Happy Frog Top dressed with Ocean Forest in 5 gallon Fabric Dirt Pots I left them in the dark for 3 days then turned lights on 18/6 cycle five days later plants are starting to pop up Gorilla glue and Grapefruit are the first to start. Day 6 all seeds but one grapefruit germinated I expect by end of day today or tomorrow it will pop up started spraying seedlings with liquid seaweed diluted in a spray bottle. Trying to get more light having shipping trouble. Last grapefruit finally popped up day 7.
