🌱 Week 3, Day 7 Update: Buds Are Blooming! 🌿 Hey Grow Fam, We're cruising through Week 3, and my girl is really coming on—buds are starting to form, and it's a sight to behold! The girl is growing so fast now, drinking 4.5L a day. She could even do with in-between waterings, in my opinion. She's aiming for the stars and shooting for the moon, getting bigger every day and stinking out my room. I had to tie my light higher up with some rope as it wouldn't go any higher, and shoots were getting way too close! I did SCROG when flipping, and I should've been a bit more strict on it (did it longer), but now I realize why SCROG is used. Imagine if I never used it—she would be way too tall. Overall, I'm so happy with how she is growing and can't wait to see the final product. :) But, as with any journey, we've hit a little bump in the road. Despite keeping our feeding consistent at 850ppm, the runoff readings have been creeping up. Last check-in showed a runoff of 1400ppm. It's got me thinking we might be dealing with a salt buildup in the root zone. To address this, I'm sticking with our feeding routine at 800-850ppm. If the runoff ppm keeps climbing or if our plants start showing signs of nutrient burn, I will adjust accordingly, but as of right now, I'm sticking to the same feed as she looks great! ( If I do begin to notice signs of nutrient burn (excess), I will try to water with a lower EC/PPM, like 700ppms, to bring it down. But if I don't get the results I'm hoping for, I will just flush the plant with 3x the media size of water (just plain pH water) to wash out any old salts and reset the medium. You don't really want to do this with coco depending on what stage your at in flower, veg on the other hand flush.? Sure!, if you really need to reset that medium go for it, (i do see tiny signs of burn but thats fine if it gets worse then i have a problem) Let's stay focused and keep our eyes on the prize—beautiful healthy buds. The two KANNABIA plants almost harvested the same, the PINEAPPLE DREAM harvested 63 grams of dried bud and the ZKIT KANDY DREAM harvested 62,7 gram. That is a VERY GOOD RESULT and I am very happy with that. The plants grew very healthy throughout the whole cycle and developed lots of leaves (with very long stems!). At harvest time that meant loooooots of work for the scissors, but it was all worth it seen the outcome. The 2 plants harvested lots of buds glistening with trichomes and exuding a VERY SWEET SMELL.

Left these ones out a bit to long and not nearly enough love, so they suffered a bit but that's ok. I am going to experiment and try water curing the buds. First time ever using this method and I think it will make a good little project. No idea how to it will turn out, been reading it will remove most of the smells and that sucks but the smoke is very clean and light. Only time will tell. take about 7 days to fully water cure. bud washing helped get rid of a lot of extra that stuck to them outside.

I'm excited to report that the flowering phase has officially begun, with only T-55 days/60 days left to go! 🌸🌿 Currently, my lights are set to 50% intensity, but I plan to gradually increase them to 75% over the next few days. 💡✨ I'm happy to say that everything is looking great in the grow room, as I've managed to dial in all the necessary parameters. 8/23 I WATERED THE NATURAL MK ULTRA AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE BACK WITH A GALLON AND THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. It's hotter today and the wind is picking up. I wish I had gotten rid of that plant when I thought to. Oh well. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and treat things. Smell is increases as well as flower size. However I'm noticing more leaves that are yellowing and falling off. Smell has intensified. The special kush in late flower doesn't seem to be producing trichomes like it should. Or maybe it's still early. I see some but by this time I would think it would be frosty as hell! It's rained like once this summer. I've put tons of work into defoliating. I'm not sure if I'll try a controlled spray trying to avoid buds or if I should use a sponge and just hit every leaf. At least I'm seeing that the buds are still expanding and smelling despite these invisible Bastards. It's not like I see them. Even my traps only caught like one. I'll update as I go. EDIT: WATERED THE TENTH PLANET AND THE LATE SOECIAL KUSH 1 GAL. PLAN ON FEEDING TOMORROW. I DID A SHIT TON OF DEFOLIATION. I'm seriously considering spunosad on the pink kush as it's earlier in flower and I think it could handle it. I might just use this spray first and see how it goes. Buds are swelling and seem bigger everyday. I looked at some old diaries and I can see ive had thrips before. I also have some insect (ear wigs or pillars) that target lower branches and kinda lollipop them. I hope it's not earwigs because I've had bas luck dealing with them. I'll have to check at night. EDIT: WENT OVER AROUND THREE TO CHECK THINGS OUT. PLANTS LOVED THAT RAIN AND SEEMED TO LOVE THE TREATMENT AS WELL. THAT RAIN AND WIND DEFINATELY DISRUPTED THE THRIPS. I had to shake everything off this morning. Looking back through previous diaries I've HAD thrips before and couldn't identify it and made it to harvest so I think I'll be OK. BUDS arecrcploding in growth and the smell is turning into tjat pungent aroma we all love. The early special kush smells amazing. I think the rain and wind helped with the thrips. I'll do another application and get the plants I missed. That pink kush in the ten looks pretty rough. I probably would've been better off to ditch it earlier it's been treated now so I'll keep an eye on it amd I may just cut it. If I put in the work they would be fine. At least I hope so. We'll see. I'll update as I go. 8/28 Had to shake the plants off this morning. Must've rained last night. I'm not used to that since we've been in such a drought. I'll check later but I'll probably hold off as most are still heavy. I probably should selectively water the thirsty ones but I think tjey can make it. The rain (or the treatment) has greatly helped cut down on thrip population. Nights are in the 40's so it's not the most hospitable environment for them. I'm still keeping an eye out and will be applying another treatment at some point. I didn't do a video this morning as it was kinda dark. I'll check them again when I get back. It's supposed to rain tomorrow all day. I think I might bring the furthest special kush in the barn under lights for the day. That way those huge buds don't get soaked. I'll play it by ear. 8/29 Everything was dry this morning. I could see the soil pulling together away from the bags. My late flowering special kush was good though. It was good to let things dry out from all that rain. We are supposed to get an inch of rain with rain tonight. I didn't want to leave the girls high and dry so I WATERED THE GARDEN STRATEGICALLY WITH 5.5 GALS. USING IT WHERE IT WAS NEEDED MOST. That way if we don't get as much rain as we are supposed to the girls will still be OK. Didn't do a video today. I decided to leave everything out and let it get the natural rain. I'm sure it will be fine. I'm going to need to stake those buds as they swell. They are getting pretty big. EVERYTHING is getting substantially bigger.

Spoted no more herms! decreased UVA to 6h again because some budtips turn white (light bleach) even the lights are 40cm away...last time they bleached too but with light 30cm away... 2 weeks to go

the girl was completely dry on the day of watering... it would be better to water the day before... but the spoons are already in the afternoon :) in a week the girl will probably get another leaf removal, her flowers have already started to grow :) good luck to everyone :).

2/1 - 2/4: I ended up feeding the BJ's and GG's once more, and just plain water for the Zenzations. Moved the to Zenzations into the dark on the night of 2/4 and will harvest them tomorrow (Friday). I'll flush the others tomorrow and probably harvest them next weekend. 2/5: Both Zenzations are having their last bit of beauty sleep before they get trimmed up, cut, washed, and hung to dry. 2/6: Harvested both Zenzations....damn they smell wonderful and have amazing frost! 2/8: Watered the BJ's and GG's today with LiquidSoil. Will flush them really well in a couple more days and probably harvest this weekend...time's up bitches, better put on your lipstick and get ready for the big party!

There doing great at 36 inches. Looking healthy and getting 4 and 1/2 hrs extra light. Growing fast that is for sure. Did some defoliation bottom carp. Found thrips so I had to spray. Hope I killed them.

Today was the day I decided to prune the top of the 5 knot, and as the beginning of the week I watered again with top crop's top veg fertilizer

At day 34, I can see more changes in the terpene profiles. The big winner at this stage is the pheno #2. Everything from her is superior: structure, bud size and consistency, resin production... The pheno #3 is my second favorite one for the same characteristics, except for the terpene profile which is the more favorable one among the 5. The girls still share that same tropical funk back ground (myrcene/terpinolene). The sour lemon punch is still present in the phenos #2 and 4. Pheno #1 Sweet/Gassy Pheno #2 Sweet/tropical/Sour citrus Pheno #3 The more interesting terpene profile. She kept ALL the banana aroma from the tropical funk 😋 Sweet/tropical/skunk Pheno #4 The less interesting terpene profile. The aroma carries weird hints of soap. Sweet/tropical/Sour citrus/Chemical/Soapy Pheno #5 The terpene profile is very close from pheno #3. Very tropical and sweet, with less of the banana aroma. Sweet/tropical
