😅😅Girls were developed by different methods one were topped when she has only two nodes (third I topped), second was only LSTed. They were transplanted once from 10L bag to 20L bags. Topped roots developed much better then untouched had. Topped growed for about 71 day, and untouched 72. Wife noticed mold on few colas, I cutted them and cut out the affected areas. Bushes were Ripenning for about 12 days, Unfortunately I didn't flushed them at all. So topped girl was putted to hermetic container and placed in freezing camera exactly from cutting. Secon one I putted to growbox under the out fan. I bought vacuum pump and jars, and dry topped by quick freezing method. And untouched was dryed by usual way. After all results are: Wet weight: Topped: 450g buds&stems; Untouched: 380g buds&stems. Dry weight: Untouched: 80g buds, 10g stems; Topped: 110g buds, 13g stems. This is my firs grow, I think its great result. The common mistakes are: uncontrolled environment ph, humidity, and that I stopped plant growing height with early low distance to the lamp. This is my second grow, (first diary). I used same set up for first grow. I did all autos and purchased from Royal Queen seeds, 2 x Cookies Gellato, 2 x fat banana and 2 x northern lights, my pals and I really impressed with the results and some very nice smoke. Decided to try some photoperiods this time out and keep a diary. Love this website reading other people's experiences is very helpful. I've done three Royal Cheese - Fast, love this strain to be so common in UK, don't see it much these days. Germimation method used, - seeds soaked in filtered water in the dark overnight in a shot glass then added to a damp kitchen towel put in a large sealed ziplock bag in the airing cupboard, after two days large tap roots and potted in their final 15 litre fabric pots. Light set at 35% power at mo. Using auto govee humidifier and hygro sensor to adjust environment without opening , really handy being able to check/adjust via WiFi. Second sensor on Spider Farmer extraction fan to cross check both sensors for accurate readings.

Checked out the trichomes yesterday, just to be sure, I think they’re 2-4 weeks away from harvest. This week I also fed them and slightly defoliated some leaves that were blocking light on some buds.

Day 42 after switch. did some defoliation on day 40. this week only watering with water and one time BioTabs compost tee. everything running smooth so far. no bigger problems and buds are now starting to get fatter.🙏

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

This was a week. The drama at the beginning was one of the fans falling down onto my gorilla cookies. It snapped a branch off really bad but the girl hung onto it by threads. I duct taped her up and somehow took. 😎😢 I defoliated and did a little lst on a couple of the girls. Nothing major. Also increased the light to 80% now. I think I'll stay there until late flower when I switch to 12/12. I also added blocks to a couple of the girls to make the canopy level. That put the light at 15" as recommended by Medic Grow. Strawberry Banana is growing ok. I added one row of blocks to raise her up. Lst tied one branch off to the side. I'm hoping she starts to pick up in the week. I see potential but we'll see.
