Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 5 2/2-2-8 The Cheese gals are in full flower and are stretching like crazy. At the beginning of the week, they were 7 inches tall, Wed 10 and today 2/7 they are 14 & 15 inches tall. They have doubled in height. I’ve moved the pins out to the edge of the pot. For future training, I must add some wires thru the pot holes to keep the branches lower as the outer rim is taller than the center. I reduced nutrients in the feed solution since Runtz and Pink Rozay are showing some purples/blues in the leaves. These gals are vigorous and don’t seem to mind the full strength feedings. Hopefully they won’t start showing deficiencies. I added Green Sensation this week then read the instructions said add in 4th week flower. Blue Cheese is supposed to be a 10 week flower from seed to harvest. If I wait till the 4th week, it will only be used for 2 maybe 3 weeks. Would that actually benefit the plant. So I think I will add some each time but a 25% strength. Calls for 4ml/g I will use 1ml. They are autos and I should be lowering the nutes anyway. Pinned more branches. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/5 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and Dill in the back. All and all the plant was great but I would probably not grow again. It had a much slower flower time and really struggled.

Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

Day 15. Took humidity dome off. She is very thin ... Fan is late for a week, hopefully monday i get it finally... Day 19. Bought few bongs, one is specifically for this girl ;) Small watering - 40 ml in. 6.3 pH. Happy Growing !!!

Not much going on yet. Added some 3d printed supports to make sure they don't start flopping over. Not sure if it's the strain, or my idiocy, but these bastards are soooo leggy. Grr. Watering daily to 15% runoff with MegaCrop 2 part in RO at 0.6EC and 5.6pH. Found Mega Crop gives very stable pH on the right range without any pH up or down needed. Took one day off (3/18) watering to water with Silica Boost at 6ml/gal concentration pHed to 5.4. PPFD 300 at canopy for DLI of 20. PPFD was about 20 for first week while I was prepping and sanitizing the grow room, which might explain the leggyness. If they don't look better after topping, I might pull them and try a different strain. 3/20 - this grow is inspired by the techniques of Bruce Bugbee (PPFD, nutrition, EC monitoring, substrate, environment, etc) and the concept of VPD control, both of which served me very well in the past. The grow room has dual PID controls in my PLC regulating the temperature and humidity to lock in the VPD based on plant age. In later veg and flower, I had CO2 injection on a PID, but that ultimately failed because I couldn't get the humidity down as it got huge. Had too many vent cycles. This year, hope to source or kludge an in-line dehumidifier so I can keep the sealed chamber where it needs to be without wasting CO2. 3/22 no more vertical growth, thank god, leaves and roots are slowly catching up. Patience. EC to 0.7

Experiment explanation see week1 This week the two living soil pots got one big shot compost tea...otherwise only water No1 plagron experiment (gelato auto...other diary) got each two days some plagron plus one from aptus nutrients mixture...same as last week but added alga bloom....thow grow of this plant is the best from my trio so far. End of this week ppfd increased to 550-580

Esa familia, de vuelta vamos a actualizar esta tercera semana de floración de estas candy caramelo de Zambezaseeds. Son fast flowering, así que veremos que tal se rápidas son en su floración, hasta ahora se están comportando muy bien, tienen 0 bloqueos alimenticios, esta vez no se nos va de la mano con el producto 😂. En resumen color verde, vigorosas, bastante estables hasta ahora, sigo regulando ph , humedad y temperatura. Gracias al led ts-600 que me a facilitado marshydro es posible cultivar en interior 365 días al año . Now I have the lights at 100%, and the canopy at about 4’ tall. Water on the weekends mostly, get about 5 days between waterings. Daily checkups on the tent for temps and humidity. Girls are looking happy all around, forming beautiful buds stacked up the stocks. Glad I’ve got more seeds of this strain to play with in the future too after this haul. 🤙
