Week 15 - Flowering week 7 (November 1 - December 19) Harvest approach, may be 2 weeks more; depending to the strain. -CaiFunk will be ready soon, flowers are compact, covered with resin. . -Green Punch, despite of the damages, this strain seems to have a good flowering potential: resinous and aromatic. -Royal Gorilla is pretty advanced, pistils are turning brown and buds are meaty but still growing. Strong smell. -Bubbie Gum healthy, not ready for now, I suspect a sort of stagnation but it’s may the strain. -Sour Glue need more weeks, correct flowering, subtil aroma. -AK 47 is attacked by aphids, one more time: the only target of the room. I treated with black soap and hoppe to keep the plant relatively safe till the end. Signs of potassium deficiency on every plants: leaves are turning yellow and brown.I added PK 13/14 and Overdrive (PK boost). 🌸 Pink Rosay Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno A | Week 9 💗 Small Plant. Massive Presence. An Absolute Beauty. There are plants that are big. There are plants that are tall. There are plants that fill every available centimetre of a tent. And then... there are plants like Pink Rosay Pheno A. She's something different. She's small. She's compact. She's incredibly dense. And somehow, she manages to carry an absolutely ridiculous amount of flower for a plant of her size. Every time I look at her, I find myself thinking the same thing: How did all of that fit into this little plant? 😂💗 This girl continues to impress me. Not because she's trying to compete with the giants around her. Not because she's stretching toward the ceiling. But because she has taken her relatively small frame and turned almost every available centimetre into productive flowering structure. And honestly... few plants are like this. At least, few plants I've had the pleasure of growing. She's compact in size. But she is absolutely not compact in personality. 🌸 Week 9 – She's Still Radiant Pink Rosay continues moving beautifully through flowering. The plant remains around 111 cm, but that number really doesn't tell the story. Height is only one measurement. Look at the flowers. Look at the density. Look at the way the buds occupy the structure. Look at the proportion between the plant itself and the amount of flower she's carrying. That's where this girl becomes special. The flowering sites have developed into substantial, clearly defined flowers, with impressive structure and increasingly mature-looking resin coverage. The calyxes continue swelling. The pistils are changing as the flowers progress. And the overall appearance is becoming increasingly impressive. She's not simply producing flowers. She's packing them in. And she's doing it beautifully. 💗 Small Frame. Huge Flower-to-Plant Ratio. This is probably the characteristic I appreciate most about her right now. Pink Rosay has one of those structures where you can immediately see how much of the plant is dedicated to flowering. She's compact. But the flowers are large relative to the plant. The branches aren't disappearing into endless stretches of empty space. Instead, they're carrying substantial flowering structures throughout the canopy. The result is something I find incredibly satisfying to look at: a small plant with an enormous flowering presence. It's almost like someone took a much larger plant and compressed it. 😂 And that's exactly why I keep calling her special. You can find tall plants. You can find massive plants. But finding a plant that remains this compact while developing this much flower relative to her overall size? That's something I really appreciate. 🌿 The Beauty Is in the Structure The structure is another thing that continues catching my attention. She's dense, but she doesn't look chaotic. The flowers have their places. The branches support them. The foliage surrounds the developing buds. And the whole plant has that feeling of everything working together. There's a real sense of balance here. That's important. Because density by itself isn't necessarily impressive. A plant can be dense simply because everything is crowded together. Pink Rosay is different. She has organized density. Her compact structure has become a framework for the flowers rather than simply a mass of foliage. And after the selective defoliation we performed previously, the plant has continued developing beautifully. We didn't strip her. We didn't try to expose every single flower. We simply opened areas where necessary and then stepped back. And now... we let her do what she does best. Build flowers. ✂️ After the Defoliation – Now We Watch The selective flowering defoliation from the previous week has now become part of the story. Some foliage was removed where it was contributing to unnecessary congestion, while plenty of healthy leaves were deliberately left behind. That distinction remains important to me. I'm not interested in making a plant look naked. I'm interested in making the canopy functional. And Pink Rosay still has plenty of green. The remaining leaves are working. They're capturing light. They're supporting photosynthesis. They're feeding the developing flowers. And the plant is responding exactly how I hoped she would. So this week? No need to reach for the scissors again. She's beautiful. She's balanced. She's developing. Leave her alone. Sometimes cultivation is knowing when to intervene. Sometimes it's knowing when to stop. Right now, I think Pink Rosay is telling me very clearly: "I've got this." 😂💗 ❄️ The Flowers Are Becoming Serious The flowers are now entering a really exciting stage. They're no longer just developing structures. They're becoming proper flowers. The calyxes are becoming more pronounced. The pistils are beginning to change. The buds are gaining density and volume. And the resin continues to become increasingly visible. When you look closely at the photographs, there is so much happening. Every flower has layers. Pistils crossing through the developing structures. Calyxes stacking around one another. Sugar leaves emerging through the flowers. And resin covering the surfaces. This is where the plant starts becoming more than just a green plant under a light. The architecture you spent weeks watching develop is finally turning into the thing you've been waiting for. Flowers. And Pink Rosay is producing some beautiful ones. 📸 A Photographer's Dream This girl is also becoming incredibly enjoyable to photograph. Her structure gives you the wide shots. Her compact frame tells the story. But then you move closer... And suddenly the entire image changes. The flowers are full of texture. The pistils create those beautiful fine lines. The calyxes create layers. The resin catches the light. And the surrounding leaves provide that deep green background. It's one of those plants where I can understand why macro photography and growing became so connected for me. You can photograph the whole plant... and then spend another hour looking at one flower. There's always another detail. Another texture. Another little piece of biology happening right in front of the lens. And Pink Rosay is giving me plenty to photograph. 💡 Eating Photons The lighting system remains unchanged. The Future of Grow Black Series LED continues providing the primary overhead illumination, with the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting adding another layer of light into the lower portions of the garden. And Pink Rosay is clearly making use of the available energy. The plant has plenty of flower structure. The foliage remains strong. And the flowers continue progressing. This is another reason I like having different phenotypes growing together. The environment gives them the opportunity. But their genetics decide what they do with it. Some plants turn that opportunity into height. Some into branches. Some into enormous individual flowers. Pink Rosay seems to have chosen: "I'll just make everything count." And I love that. 🌿 The 8×8 Perspective When I step back and look at the entire 8×8 Adventure, Pink Rosay becomes even more interesting. There are plants around her that are significantly taller. There are plants that occupy much more physical space. There are plants that look enormous from across the room. And then there's this little powerhouse. Standing there at around 111 cm... covered in flowers. It's a perfect reminder that comparing plants purely by height doesn't make much sense. A plant's potential isn't measured by the ruler alone. It's in the architecture. The density. The flower distribution. The health. The efficiency of the canopy. And ultimately... what she gives you at the end. So we stay consistent and let the biology continue doing the work. 🌬️ Density Means Attention Because Pink Rosay is so compact and flower-dense, environmental management remains something I pay close attention to. The more compact the flowering structure becomes, the more important airflow and general cleanliness become. That's not unique to Pink Rosay. It's simply part of managing a dense flowering canopy. And this is also why the work we did previously wasn't simply cosmetic. Opening selected areas can give light and air better pathways through the structure. But again... there is a balance. I don't want to destroy the very thing that makes this phenotype special. Her density is part of her identity. So we're managing it rather than fighting it. 💗 Phenotype Spotlight – One of the Special Ones I think I'm finally comfortable saying this: Pink Rosay Pheno A is one of those plants that doesn't come around every day. Maybe I'm biased. Of course I am. 😂 I've been watching her develop for weeks. I've photographed her. I've watered her. I've watched her change. I've watched the flowers develop from tiny early structures into what we're seeing now. So yes... I'm attached. But even objectively looking at her structure, there's something unusual about the relationship between her size and her flowers. She's small. She's compact. She's balanced. And yet she's carrying an enormous amount of flowering structure for that frame. That's what makes her interesting. Not simply that she's beautiful. It's how she's beautiful. And that's the difference. 🔭 Where Is She Going? This is the question now. And honestly... I don't know. That's what makes it exciting. She's progressing quickly. The flowers are developing beautifully. The pistils are changing. The calyxes are swelling. The resin is becoming increasingly apparent. And the structure is already impressive. But there's still a story left to write. How much more will those flowers swell? How much more density will they gain? How will the resin develop? How will those compact colas finish? And ultimately... what will this little powerhouse look like when she decides she's finished? I'm very curious. Because if she continues on this trajectory... she could be something really special. ❤️ Final Thoughts – Let Her Shine Pink Rosay Pheno A has officially reached the point where I don't think I can call her simply "the small plant" anymore. She's small. Yes. But that's almost irrelevant now. Because look at what she's carrying. Look at the flower-to-plant ratio. Look at the structure. Look at the density. Look at the development. Look at those flowers. This is one of those plants where the ruler tells one story... and the camera tells another. The ruler says: 111 cm. The plant says: "And?" 😂 Because she doesn't need another 50 centimetres. She has already done an incredible job with the centimetres she has. She's compact. She's dense. She's balanced. She's beautiful. She's developing some seriously impressive flowers. And every week, I find myself liking her more. So this week, I'm not going to ask whether Pink Rosay might surprise us. I'm going to say something much simpler: She already has. And now I'm just curious to see how far she can take it. This little lady has earned her spotlight. Not because she's the biggest. Not because she's the tallest. But because she has managed to turn a small frame into something that feels absolutely enormous. Pink Rosay Pheno A. Small plant. Huge flowers. Beautiful structure. I got my new Electric Sky 300v3 a few days ago. Put it in the tent immediately and the way and speed in which the plants perked up to it is amazing. Highly recommend the products from The Green Sunshine Company. I transplanted Chemdog to a 5gal container. Watered with Super Thrive to reduce transplant shock. Will defoliate in a few days. Don’t wanna stress her to much. The Chemdog clones are just starting to show roots in the rockwool cubes. I will put all 9 of those in the tent to veg for a couple weeks before flipping to flower. Chemdog mother will be moved to another small tent to veg under my Viparspectra p2500 while her offspring flowers along with the one Wedding Cake and 1 White Widow. All is going good. I’ll admit, this is my first grow since 2006. Getting back into the groove. I absolutely love this God given, life healing, natural medicine. Until next week my friends...Happy Growing! I’m Very Proud Of The Of The Purple Power If You Go Back To Week 1 You Will See That She Started Off The Slowest But She Is Now The Tallest In The Pack Standing At 21 Inches (that’s without adding the few cm I covered with soil) She Has Also Shown Signs Of Purple In Her Bud Development (Favourite Color) Can’t Wait To See Them, You Go Girl! I’m Also Proud Of The Gorilla Glu (12 inches) Stardawg (17 inches) And Girls Scout Cookies (16 inches) Development, They Are My Favorite Buds Here In The UK. What's up growmies!!! Yet another week in the books. Welcome to week #6. We are officially in flower🙌🏾🙌🏾. Technically they started preflowering last week however I count the transition period as veg. They have stretched quite considerably (especially the 2 White LSD plants). They all are doing well and flourishing. I'm feeding them 1 liter of water every 3 days, which seems to be fine. It seems to be the sweet spot for the 2 gallon fabric pots I have them in. Right now they are getting plain ph'd water (1 more watering to go) and then I will begin them on their "bloom" recipe of nutes. The smell has gotten a bit stronger but nothing pungent, but when I open the tent I definitely get that "weed" smell bumrushing my sense of smell. I flipped the light schedule to 12/12, because I didn't want to keep Caramelicious (the only photo) in flowering for too long out of fear of her outgrowing the pot as I really don't have much room to go up to a bigger size for her. All in all things are going according to plan💪🏾 Happy growing my friends and like always, may the grow goddesses bless you all with a bountiful harvest!!! See you next week!!

Zamnesia's Georgia Pie #1 performed that miracle I love so much: a magical foliage at the end pushed the leaves to a very dark purple/black color. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I dare say, cannabis is magical, but this color change process at the end is part of the magic in its own right. The plant, like many American strains, flowers in clusters, which doesn't mean it's any less good. Not seeing the swords is scary, but the Americans, through hybridization, have created magnificent strains with flavors, tastes, and especially resin formation that are rare in European cannabis. The genetics are Gelatti x Kush Mintz, and as I always say, where there's Kush Mintz, there's Magic. Always. The strain is a balanced day/night indica/sativa and has very, very sweet aromas that herald a mind-blowing taste. The trichomes are very beautiful and fantastic in the purple areas. They're around 20% Amber, 50% Cloudy, and 30% Clear. The plant is slightly more Indica, and I don't want to let it ripen too much. That's fine with me. The pistils are very, very mature, around 90%. It's a plant with well-proportioned, medium internodal spacing. This strain is much-loved; there are many good and famous versions, but ours here at Zamnesia is the best of all. We grew it in a classic 6.5-liter square plastic pot and then transplanted it into a 19-liter airpot. The flowers are all excellent quality, and the yield is excellent. I think 50-70 grams, trimmed and pruned, not a normal-sized plant trimmed. This one was processed with 16 toppings. The soil we chose is the recently launched Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us to start with more gradual and consistent watering, without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. Day 57-63 Week 9 Halfway through last week, I noticed a issue with a wilting, deep water culture bucket. I realized there was a possibility I created an imbalanced solution for my plant that shuts them out, even though it was in the correct p.H range I probably encouraged mold or stagnant root growth. They are all picking up.Don't look stressed.They look happy and pointing towards the light.

Never got around to updating this. Grow was a good learning experience that will help coming grows go much more smoothly. Despite taking forever and having a fair few deficiencies throughout, the quality of bud turned out great, better than anything you can get in my location anyway. Mates loved it.

What's in the soil? What's not in the soil would be an easier question to answer. 16-18 DLI @ the minute. +++ as she grows. Probably not recommended, but to get to where it needs to be, I need to start now. Vegetative @1400ppm 0.8–1.2 kPa 80–86°F (26.7–30°C) 65–75%, LST Day 10, Fim'd Day 11 CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity): This is a measure of a soil's ability to hold and exchange positively charged nutrients, like calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Soils with high CEC (more clay and organic matter) have more negative charges that attract and hold these essential nutrients, preventing them from leaching away. Biochar is highly efficient at increasing cation exchange capacity (CEC) compared to many other amendments. Biochar's high CEC potential stems from its negatively charged functional groups, and studies show it can increase CEC by over 90%. Amendments like compost also increase CEC but are often more prone to rapid biodegradation, which can make biochar's effect more long-lasting. biochar acts as a long-lasting Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) enhancer because its porous, carbon-rich structure provides sites for nutrients to bind to, effectively improving nutrient retention in soil without relying on the short-term benefits of fresh organic matter like compost or manure. Biochar's stability means these benefits last much longer than those from traditional organic amendments, making it a sustainable way to improve soil fertility, water retention, and structure over time. Needs to be charged first, similar to Coco, or it will immobilize cations, but at a much higher ratio. a high cation exchange capacity (CEC) results in a high buffer protection, meaning the soil can better resist changes in pH and nutrient availability. This is because a high CEC soil has more negatively charged sites to hold onto essential positively charged nutrients, like calcium and magnesium, and to buffer against acid ions, such as hydrogen. EC (Electrical Conductivity): This measures the amount of soluble salts in the soil. High EC levels indicate a high concentration of dissolved salts and can be a sign of potential salinity issues that can harm plants. The stored cations associated with a medium's cation exchange capacity (CEC) do not directly contribute to a real-time electrical conductivity (EC) reading. A real-time EC measurement reflects only the concentration of free, dissolved salt ions in the water solution within the medium. 98% of a plants nutrients comes directly from the water solution. 2% come directly from soil particles. CEC is a mediums storage capacity for cations. These stored cations do not contribute to a mediums EC directly. Electrical Conductivity (EC) does not measure salt ions adsorbed (stored) onto a Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) site, as EC measures the conductivity of ions in solution within a soil or water sample, not those held on soil particles. A medium releases stored cations to water by ion exchange, where a new, more desirable ion from the water solution temporarily displaces the stored cation from the medium's surface, a process also seen in plants absorbing nutrients via mass flow. For example, in water softeners, sodium ions are released from resin beads to bond with the medium's surface, displacing calcium and magnesium ions which then enter the water. This same principle applies when plants take up nutrients from the soil solution: the cations are released from the soil particles into the water in response to a concentration equilibrium, and then moved to the root surface via mass flow. An example of ion exchange within the context of Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) is a soil particle with a negative charge attracting and holding positively charged nutrient ions, like potassium (K+) or calcium (Ca2+), and then exchanging them for other positive ions present in the soil solution. For instance, a negatively charged clay particle in soil can hold a K+ ion and later release it to a plant's roots when a different cation, such as calcium (Ca2+), is abundant and replaces the potassium. This process of holding and swapping positively charged ions is fundamental to soil fertility, as it provides plants with essential nutrients. Negative charges on soil particles: Soil particles, particularly clay and organic matter, have negatively charged surfaces due to their chemical structure. Attraction of cations: These negative charges attract and hold positively charged ions, or cations, such as: Potassium (K+) Calcium (Ca2+) Magnesium (Mg2+) Sodium (Na+) Ammonium (NH4+) Plant roots excrete hydrogen ions (H+) through the action of proton pumps embedded in the root cell membranes, which use ATP (energy) to actively transport H+ ions from inside the root cell into the surrounding soil. This process lowers the pH of the soil, which helps to make certain mineral nutrients, such as iron, more available for uptake by the plant. Mechanism of H+ Excretion Proton Pumps: Root cells contain specialized proteins called proton pumps (H+-ATPases) in their cell membranes. Active Transport: These proton pumps use energy from ATP to actively move H+ ions from the cytoplasm of the root cell into the soil, against their concentration gradient. Role in pH Regulation: This active excretion of H+ is a major way plants regulate their internal cytoplasmic pH. Nutrient Availability: The resulting decrease in soil pH makes certain essential mineral nutrients, like iron, more soluble and available for the root cells to absorb. Ion Exchange: The H+ ions also displace positively charged mineral cations from the soil particles, making them available for uptake. Iron Uptake: In response to iron deficiency stress, plants enhance H+ excretion and reductant release to lower the pH and convert Fe3+ to the more available form Fe2+. The altered pH can influence the activity and composition of beneficial microbes in the soil. The H+ gradient created by the proton pumps can also be used for other vital cell functions, such as ATP synthesis and the transport of other solutes. The hydrogen ions (H+) excreted during photosynthesis come from the splitting of water molecules. This splitting, called photolysis, occurs in Photosystem II to replace the electrons used in the light-dependent reactions. The released hydrogen ions are then pumped into the thylakoid lumen, creating a proton gradient that drives ATP synthesis. Plants release hydrogen ions (H+) from their roots into the soil, a process that occurs in conjunction with nutrient uptake and photosynthesis. A lack of water splitting during photosynthesis can affect iron uptake because the resulting energy imbalance disrupts the plant's ability to produce ATP and NADPH, which are crucial for overall photosynthetic energy conversion and can trigger a deficiency in iron homeostasis pathways. While photosynthesis uses hydrogen ions produced from water splitting for the Calvin cycle, not to create a hydrogen gas deficiency, the overall process is sensitive to nutrient availability, and iron is essential for chloroplast function. In photosynthesis, water is split to provide electrons to replace those lost in Photosystem II, which is triggered by light absorption. These electrons then travel along a transport chain to generate ATP (energy currency) and NADPH (reducing power). Carbon Fixation: The generated ATP and NADPH are then used to convert carbon dioxide into carbohydrates in the Calvin cycle. Impaired water splitting (via water in or out) breaks the chain reaction of photosynthesis. Good start to the week. After adding super soil and a speinkle of bone meal on the girls they seem to be doing very well. The colour and structure are as full Iv ever seen. Because its going so great and I dont wanna Fc*kitup iv decided to completely stop any chemical nutrients and just provide water daily. 28 Sept P# 1&2 are in flower and pistils are starting to form buds. Both have been suppercropped and Iv also removed some lower smaller leaves. This was my 1st real major attempt at HST. It went well. Didn't break any branches. Nice low profile and even ‘canopy’ achieved. Lets see what this does for budsite development & growth. Thats all for now. Will keep and eye on them and update on any major changes or issues. May Green be the Grass 🍃 Sho/Ciao 30 Sept Last day of sept. figured id give a short update. p#2 got a somewhat drastic haircut/trimming. She got crazy bushy less than 24hrs after the supercrop I did 2 days ago. Girl perked right up. Also her smell is starting to get more noticeable. So far its a typical midlife ‘weed plant’ scent. I also did something that I could pay for severely. I transplanted p#3 that turns out to be an auto flower from the the dirt. I did this because 1. I thought the soil was hard and sandy and needed some working. Shes now in compost/supersoil mix. 2. I just wanted to watch this girl up-closely develop as shes my 1st! Think she starting to form shiny clear trichomes. Will update how she does in a couple more days.

Divine Seeds 2025 Auto Contest 👉Sponsored Grow👈 AK-47XL Auto W6F2 The weather was rainy with thunderstorms early in the week becoming hot, humid and overcast. I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. I added this as a preventive measure since I’m seeing issues with nitrogen usage in the lower leaves even though she is in super soil. AK47 must be a heavy feeder. With the extreme heat and rain, my AK-47xl. She grew a foot and is now 31 inches tall. She demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases and bug damage. In the background noise on the video is Cicadas. When they hatch, they crawl onto a tree or plant and molt. The adult has wings. This is the empty body casing. 1/24 Seeing balls I think :( - Welp - Confirmed they are balls, #2 has them also, not sure if LST caused to much stress or what. To much pride to just kill them all. I will continue this grow concealed in the 3x3. Honestly thought I was doing everything right. Going to leave them together, I got a auto water system to help keep tent closed more often. Doing this for the experience, will deep clean tent and all equipment after. I guess my goal now is to just finish her up, I'm 4 weeks through, going to try to use this bud for edibles, etc. This is for the people who had a hermie, wanted to continue growing it, but couldn't due to there conditions. Here ya go, this will be a fun run. If this isn't a good idea let me know LOL. 1/25 - (early morning) after a little researching and thinking, I think I'll just kill the hermies out. #2 had the same sacks. Going to keep a close eye on #3,#4, but so far they haven't sexed yet, ended up chopping #1, #2 for the better. Done buying cheap seeds, I have went through recommendations to find the best genetics and a more reputable breeder, very soon will start diary on that which I am very pumped for. With 2 of these out now, Planning on putting another strain in with them. I got a little unmotivated experiencing this, but figured rather fix it now then set my self back another 4 weeks. Hopefully we still have luck with #3, #4 will hope for the best! 1/30 - Since chopping #1, and #2 due to them becoming hermie, I definitely lost some motivation on this run. I still have been watering and adjusting canopy with trellis. They have definitely blown up since 1/25, and are giving me much more motivation moving forward. I gave them recharge today. I have started slight LST again but just bending the top cola so it won't grow higher then other colas. I have started another run with Brother Mendel Genetics, and will be starting another grow diary series on them. Look out for it.
