12th week of happiness

Last week, 2 irrigations, gave her plain water. Beautiful colours, it was a pleasure to grow such a pretty plant, production is going to be like 10 grams i expect, Cloudy days and bad weather while growing and flowering, but quality seems pretty good, she is so frosty and smells like fruits. 1 week of drying, and curing at the moment. Put the weed in jars with Boveda 62. Im making a harvest post with the smoke effects flavour and all the stuff, so you can get more details about the high, flavour and quality. All appeared well with this Lady until yesterday 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I noticed a small discoloured patch on one of the top buds, it had the start of what appeared to be bud rot 😿 Asked a couple of mates their opinion and we’ve all come to the same conclusion. I’ve checked the rest of the plant and can’t see any signs of any more. She’s meant to be coming down in 7 days, but that may have to be pushed forward. I’ve bought some more fans (5 to be precise) they should arrive today, so hopefully that should help. I’ve needed to upgrade my fans for a while, wish I’d sorted it out sooner. I’ve added a video at the end showing the bud in question. Don’t be surprised if this diary updates as finished in the next few days, until next time 🌱💚

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

Die Pflanze die wahrscheinlich gezwittert hat, habe ich ab geschnitten. Jetzt bleiben nur noch 2. Den Dünger habe ich in der Woche erst Mal abgesetzt, da ich zu viel gedüngt habe.

Soil level is a bit low after the transplant so getting ready to add some in. Took domes off and did first Nute feed on day 12. Using a FloraTrio mix with a touch of Cali-Magic and epsom salt

This week, the Diamond Handz by Square One Genetics got........well sticky. She is frosting up nicely and smells like sweet candy. I am surprised by the stacking on these main branches 😃. There is not much to do for her as she has received her last feed already. All that is needed is wellness checks and watering.....I do not mind being in the Tent as the smells are soooooooooo Damn good 😏. I also tend to pluck out any yellowing or dying leaves until the end of flower!

ENGLISH VERSION BELOW Wie ich im letzten Update geschrieben habe, fällt dieses hier etwas größer aus und enthält auch mehr Fotos und Videos. Die Pflanzen haben sich gut entwickelt, waren aber mittlerweile zu groß für ihre kleinen Töpfe und zeigten Anzeichen von Wurzelstress. Ich habe sie daher in 9-Liter-AirPots umgetopft, die ich noch von einem alten Projekt übrig hatte. Als Substrat verwende ich eine 70/30-Mischung aus Canna Coco Professional und Peligran Perlite von Knauf. Ich liebe dieses Zeug – man kann es praktisch nicht überwässern. Die Wurzelballen habe ich mit etwas Mycotrex von Biotabs bestreut. (Mycorhizzae) Um ehrlich zu sein: Ich war einfach zu faul, neue Stofftöpfe zu kaufen, also dachte ich mir, warum nicht die alten AirPots wiederverwenden :-) Mal sehen, wie sie sich darin machen. Ich habe die Pflanzen auch in ihre „endgültige“ Umgebung gestellt – ein 120x120-Zelt (4×4 für meine imperialen Freunde ;-) – und ab jetzt werden sie über meinen geliebten Ebbe-/Flut Eigenbau versorgt. Ich habe es vor 10 Jahren gebaut, und es ist immer noch ein echter Segen. Einmal am Tag werden die Pflanzen mit Nährlösung aus einem 200-Liter-Tank (52 Gallonen) geflutet. Leider bedeutet das auch, dass ich euch nicht mehr sagen kann, wie viel Nährlösung jede Pflanze genau bekommt – sie nehmen sich einfach, was sie brauchen. Das neue Zelt wird mittels eines AC Infinity Controller 69 klimagesteuert, sodass ich die Bedingungen deutlich besser im Griff habe. Ich versuche, einen VPD von etwa 1,2 zu halten. Die Klimaanlage ist auf 22 °C (~71 °F) eingestellt und der Luftbefeuchter hält die Luftfeuchtigkeit bei etwa 62 %. Offtopic: Ich musste eine große Lemon Orange-Mutterpflanze räumen, um Platz für die vier Humboldt-Mädels zu schaffen. In den nächsten Tagen werde ich sie zurückschneiden müssen. Was demnächst ansteht: In den nächsten Tagen werde ich die Pflanzen toppen. Die abgeschnittenen Spitzen werde ich versuchen, als potenzielle Mütter zu bewurzeln – vielleicht ziehe ich ja ein DNA-Los :-). Meine Frage an euch diese Woche: Mit welchen Substraten und Bewässerungssystemen habt ihr schon herumexperimentiert – und was hat euch am meisten überzeugt? The plants were coming along nicely but the were to big for their tiny pots and showed some root stress. I transplanted them into 9 Liter AirPots which I had laying around from an old project. The substrate is a 70/30 mix of Canna Coco Professional and Peligran Perlite from Knauf. I love this stuff. You basically can't overwater it. I sprinkled the root balls with some Mycotrex from Biotabs (Mycorhizzae) Tbh I wast just too lazy to buy new fabric pots so I thought why shouldn't I use these old AirPots :-) We'll see how they perform. I also placed the plants in their "final" habitat which is a 120x120 (4×4 for my imperial friends ;-) and from now on they get fed by my beloved DIY-Ebb and Flow system. I built this 10 years ago and it's still a charm to have. Once a day the plants will get "flooded" with nutrient solution from a 200 L (52 gallon) tank below. Unfortunately this also means I can't tell you how much nutrient solution they received anymore as they just take as much as they need. This tent is climate controlled by an AC Infinity controller 69 so I should be able steer them way better. I try to keep them at a VPD of around 1.2. I have my AC set to 22°C (~71°F) and my humidifier keeps the tent around 62%. Offtopic: I had to evict a big Lemon Orange Mom to make space for the 4 Humboldt girls. I will have to cut her back in the next days. Upcoming: I'm going to top them in the next few days I will try to keep the tops as potential mothers if I hit the DNA lottery :-). Harvest Part One, Day 93: First harvest of the Main colas, as a lot of the trichomes turned brown. An awful lot of work to trim wet, but wanted to get rid of all the dryed leaves. A comment on another diary said leaves turned yellow because of possible lockout. Well, i cant deny it, but i have no experience at all with it. In hindsight i should have used a lot more fertilizer during the vegi phase, i guess, because this monster turned out to be super hungry (if that makes sense). Density after removing the leaves is ok i think. Expected a bit more to be honest. Massive headbuds still though. However, kinda „raw“ on the inside as you can see by the color and general appearance. So wondering if it was to early still. Alright, half of the plant cut down, and placed in dryferm bags (compare to dryaging but tailored to Cannabis), as i have mentioned before. Still in the process, after like 7 days half of the weight gone already. A Bit more to go i think. I think i will post another update with the bottom part of the plant and for sure one with the finished product. So far very surprising strain in a positive way, still very delicate smell (i get the „doughy“ and in a sense creamy part of dutch Passions Description, its very subtile though and not much else, almost citrusy tea like), great yield, grows somewhat easy but probably isnt easy to maintain and doesnt like errors in handling. All in all im very happy and cant wait to try the First Buds. So far 7.5/10 — very decent. Let‘s see how it performs. Might change the evaluation then. And sorry, might totally be wrong about everything. Let me know your opinion, criticism, etc., please!

3/11/2019 All going well, Fed with grow,micro,bloom, + Overdrive. Calyxs really filling out nicely one more week of feeding them, then flushing for 1-2 weeks . In video of #2 i show where it broke, she healed and kept budding any way.😁

Greetings one and all, welcome back to my garden. Late update as I’ve been busy. Cruise control on all ladies, at this point I’m just being patient, following the feeding calculator to the letter. Shogun Nutrients have proven to be a great range, absolutely no issues whatsoever since day one. A few weeks to go before flush and hopefully we’ll see a real explosion in flower output. Right now the aroma in closet is a mixture of citrus and candy. Impressive genetics by FastBuds.

All I can smell is Garlic and onions when I enter the vicinity of these plants…. After a few weeks fighting a systemic infection in the hydro system and res the plants have stabilized and are PUNGENT… loudly pungent!!!

29.6 I missed one week. But girls growing nicely. These maybe slowest in tent but looking good still. Other has craAaAzZZYy FAT leafs. Not letting much light thru. Funny looking one. Gonna keep her and see how she'll turn out. These are starting to smell clearly and these most inside my tent. And these are smallest. Gonna start flowering after 2 weeks or 10 days I think. 3.7 Flipped to flowering today. These girls got big enough they got last germinated so smallest ones in this batch. They both so different. Other has these crazy broad leafs and the other one is more normal shape. Next update week from today (10.7.) first week of flowering Happy growing!
