Harvest & Trim Report — RollerCoaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Overview We’ve reached the end of the RollerCoaster Haze ride. After an intense and rewarding flowering period, the girls were harvested and processed with care. This is a full documentation of the final stage: harvest timing, drying method, trimming workflow, kief collection and pressing, and final yields. This harvest produced excellent results from two phenotypes — a true tribute to the genetics and the ecosystem we built around them. Final dry yields: • Pheno #3: 138 g (dry, trimmed bud) • Pheno #2: 224 g (dry, trimmed bud) Total dry bud: 362 g We also collected kief and pressed it into a beautiful resinous hash using heat and pressure; this sits alongside the cured flower and will be part of the upcoming smoke review. ⸻ Harvest Timing & Rationale The decision to harvest was made after careful observation of trichome and pistil development, the overall fade, aroma intensity, and the plants’ finish-line behaviour. The last weeks of the run had been dedicated to ripening: we completed the last balanced feed, then transitioned to plain water and a spectral end-season program (reduced whites/blues, elevated red/far-red/UV). These cues — combined with visible trichome development and the natural fade in the canopy — indicated the plants were ready to come down. ⸻ Cutting & Whole-Plant Drying • Each plant was cut whole and hung to dry intact. • Drying duration: two weeks (full-plant hang), at the environment you maintained (consistent conditions around your final stage set point). This allowed a controlled, gradual loss of moisture and preserved aromatic compounds and trichome integrity. • Drying environment was monitored and managed with the same attention as the grow: consistent airflow, humidity control and gentle circulation to avoid hotspots while preventing too rapid desiccation. (Notes: this section is a narrative of what i did. For clarity on local rules and safety, always follow local regulations and recommended practices.) ⸻ Trimming Workflow • After the two-week hang, the plants were moved to a dedicated trimming area and placed in the trim bin for processing. • Trimming method: primarily hand trim, using delicate, precise trimming tools and patience — “delicatessen and love” as i put it. The emphasis was on preserving trichome-rich surfaces while shaping each bud for appearance and even curing. • Hand trimming allowed you to selectively manicure the buds, remove the remaining larger fans, and leave the finished colas in a state ideal for curing and later consumption. The results were clean, visually appealing buds with intact resin heads. ⸻ Curing & Storage • Trimmed buds were carefully placed into Grove Bags for the finish of the cure. The Grove Bags are being used as the controlled environment for the slow biochemical processes that refine aroma, smoothness, and terpene expression. • The plan is to allow the flower to finish its cure under stable conditions until ready for the smoke review. This prolonged, stable cure should bring out the nuanced haze profile the genetics promise. ⸻ Kief Collection & Resin Press • While trimming, kief was collected from the trim and from screens. The kief was then pressed into a concentrated resin/hash using heat and pressure. • The result is a solid, aromatic hash — glossy and packed with the strain’s signature terpenes — a beautiful secondary product from the harvest and a perfect complement to the flower in the smoke review. ⸻ Sensory & Quality Notes • Aroma: intensely hazy — a dominant hay-sweet note with mature, layered complexity. The smell in the drying/trim room was strong and very characteristic of a classic haze. • Appearance: colors trending golden to warm yellow tones, heavy frosting of trichomes, dense calyxes and robust colas. The buds visually convey potency and quality. • Structure: each phenotype expressed the haze identity; long internodes on some branches, dense stacking on others — overall excellent structure that translated into heavy colas and great yields. ⸻ Recap: Seed → Harvest at a Glance • Germination: pillbox water method; seeds cracked and into soil within 48 hours. Gentle Aptus start mix supported early vigor. • Vegetative: bottom-watering to promote downward root growth; transplanted and vegged with controlled training and canopy management. • Flower: early flip to 11/13; progressive nutrition with Aptus + Plagron mix; inner canopy lighting (ICL300) to support middle/low bud development; spectrum tuning (red/far-red/UV) toward the end of flower. Final flush and plain water to finish. • Harvest: judged by trichome and pistil maturity, aroma, and overall plant condition. Whole-plant hang for two weeks, then hand-trimmed and cured in Grove Bags. It seemed there were two very different phenomes. One had pink calyxes which was cool. One had extremely dense buds and the other were fluffier put had trichs on top of trichs. The last plant taken had almost all stigmas bright red. Very pretty plants. I wish I didn't lose so much to insects. I learned ky lesson. Next year floating row covers. This strain made it through septoria and a host of other problems including inclement weather and a thrip infection. This plant looked so perfect and it just seems like I'm losing a little more daily. I was hoping the buds would fill out more on the last one but they were INCREDIBLY frosty and had reached the date it said on the package. Not that that matters.

Long time connoisseur, 1st time grower. I started thinking I wanted to do outdoor, but where I live, it’s pretty cool until almost mid June. So in July I committed to indoors, and have been slowly figuring it out, while consuming TONS of content and advice from forums. High Hope’s! 😎

Ola guys..                                     First day of flowering for this two super Cookies Kush plant..                   For now they aren't directly under the Black Dog light😍, because I don't have much space...but in a couple of days I want to put they in better  and definitely position..                    I cut off some leafs and small branches, and I spraying they  with a mix of 2 ml Acti-vera and 2 ml Fish-mix..and they, apparently, responds well..                                    I never do it before..so..we will to see what's append..                                                           Hope the best, and..               Thanks for the time to  reading🙏..          See you next week..                      bye            😊✌️  

Towards the end of week 3 i applied LST'ing to 2 of the 3 plants. I started a small dosage of EHG nutrients. 2ml per 1L of grow,micro and bloom. My plants are looking great and are growing fast.

Got back from 2 weeks holiday and immediately lollipopped and defoliated all 4 plants heavly. Will wait a few days for them to recover from the battering I gave them before flipping to 12/12. This plant is at the back of the 4 in the timelapse.

Comment: Welcome boys and girls to Season #2 by PoshGrow! So alongside my 1sq. meter tent I got my new 2nd tent and setup. So at this time i will be running 2 tents. So this week not much to say, girls doing great, all 15 of them. But I noticed few small flies around my pots, fungus gnats to be exact. So I let all pots to fully dry, removed abit of top soil and covered with some stone gravel. Also placed sticky traps to completly get rid of them motherf***ers. Watering every 2 days with pH corrected water. Upcoming week going to introduce to first feeding. Going to use GHE Trio for the first time, schedule borrowed from #FromSeedToStoned youtube channel. Great week look really good

Noticed some leaf discoloration on one plant this week. Assumed a deficiency of some sort. Now doing 1/2 strength fox farm trio with a tsp of calmag. Also been watering with a higher pH as runoff was noticeably low previous watering. Night humidity is a lil higher than I’d like but the airflow is great. All in all, everything seems good at the moment. Photos/video are day 64 since breaking the soil (except leaf deficiency pictures).

She looks very good and healthy, hope she was gonna get a little bigger, same thing with her sister, however I like the aroma she's starting to produce both of them, let's see how they perform. Peace guys ✌️💚🌱❤️

I did her first water change on day 10 upped the nutrient dose and increased the reservior to 12 gallons. Gave her the first dose of armor si and humic acid. I topped her on day 12 to start 4 main branches. Will most likely top again and start training in about a week depending on how she wants to grow. The goal is a maximum of 5 weeks veg if they cooperate. They are under 240w qb and a galaxyhydro pulling about 140w for now. Will be adding more qb when I spread the buckets out.

9/29/21 - We are marking today the first day of veg. That Mars Hydro TSW 2000 is doing a great job at 50% power. The plants all look great today! 9/30/21 - They look good. We are giving them water with no nutrients for this week so they will transplant nicely. 10/1/21 - They look great! I’ve been misting them in the morning. Soil is still wet from the transplant watering. We are waiting on fans and a scrog net. 10/2/21 - They are looking very good today. We mist them daily, sometimes twice a day. 10/3/21 - All plants look great! We stopped misting them for now. They look over watered a tad. We know it’s early but we started LST on a couple of the taller ones. 10/4/21 - Looking good! Just cruising along at 50% power, watering when dry. I know they won’t be low maintenance in a couple weeks when they are bushes. 10/5/21 - They look great! The ladies in the back are doing some LST still since they are much taller. It’s safe to say the roots are expanding and the plants overall are growing.
