Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. This garbage plant that was supposed to be an autoflower but was a photoperiod turned hermaphrodite on me. Not a few pollen sacks but tons everywhere. I noticed some pollen on some of the closer plants leaves so I hope it didn't fuck em up. 05.07.21 hi liebe grower heute war es soweit ich hab die purps OG Nr. 1,2 und 3 getoppt und Versuche aus den abgeschnittenen teilen steckies zu machen(is das erste mal ,drückt mir die Daumen).Hab die abgeschnitten teile unten am Schnittpunkt (schräg abgeschnitten) in great White getaucht und in eazy plugs gesteckt die getränkt waren mit Ph eingestelltem Wurzel Stimulator hoffe das klappt hab das ganze zur Zeit im Zelt unter ner alten Torten Haube stehen.Werde dann die Tage,sobald die Pflanzen sich erholt haben,mit dem mainlaining beginnen. Hab die Pflanzen oberhalb der 3. Nodie getoppt und ihr die untersten Seiten Äste abgeschnitten so das nur noch nodie 2 und 3 an der Pflanze zurück bleiben. Der Hersteller also anesia seeds empfiehlt für diese Sorte sog und leichtes entlauben für mehr Ertrag,ich hab mich dazu entschieden der Pflanze 8 Haupttriebe zu verpassen,die ich mit dem selbstgebauten Tomaten Ring ausseinander halte ,und sie dann in die Blüte schicken werde, für purps OG Nr. 4 werde ich wohl nur lst und entlaubung anwenden da sie um einiges kürzer ist als die anderen. Das war's fürs erste Updates folgen wenn was passiert die Woche cu Growmies...... 09.07.21 hab heute mit dem Main Laining begonnen bei purps OG Nr. 1,2 und 3, für nr.4 hab ich mich jetzt doch dazu entschieden sie zu toppen und auch zu versuchen 8 Haupttriebe zu erstellen, da sie sich Recht gut erholt hat die letzten Tage, mehr passiert diese Woche nicht.........

Here's my current grow I stared for this fall season. 2x Blueberry 420 auto on the left and 2x Super skunk auto on the right. Using kind soil with my previous grow soil and foxfarm ocean forest on top. Sprinkle with alfalfa seeds and crimson clovers seeds...using 2 closet case LED. Let's see how this goes.

Hi everyone ! everything is going well, except i have burn some leafs with light ( i was too greedy and put the light too close ) but it's only on 2 or 3 leafs so it's ok. i can't wait !! i wanna taste it 😍😍😍

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

day 46, a couple of the plants are showing signs of a deficiency.. i think it might be calcium, but i have no calmag. so i've sprinkled some bonemeal on top of the soil and watered it so it washes through to the soil.. hopefully 😅 ill see how they react tomorrow.. some really nice bud growth going on.. every day i go in i notice swell.😎

will have to see but at 8 & 10 weeks, i think they look a little small. as long as i continue watering, this new maxsisun mf2000 should fatten these buds up. cant wait for next grow with the new light in 3x3 tent. this is becoming the best hobby i can recall next to working in my garden all summer. and this grow diary is great as you can have an honest review of progress etc...i have learned so much from this community. Start of week 5! Plants are doing great! Still some P & K deficiencies showing, but overall the bud development is phenomenal on the blueberries and is coming along nicely on the super lemon haze. I am still feeding an extra 2 liters to the Slh, this time at full dosage of part A & B, this seems to have helped with this past week (4). The blueberry are super sticky and smell amazing!

First week not to exciting, but girls are growing up nicely. Day 7 to 14 have seen significant growth and I am expecting some rapid growth in the next few weeks. Haven't done any feedings yet but will start Fox Farm big bloom sround day 21. Now the fun really begins...

The pictures don't do these buds justice. They are a brilliant purple and orange color. I have definitely outdone myself for my first grow ever. These buds have that perfect subtle smell and taste of blue salt water taffy. It's brilliant. I couldn't get it to reveg which is a disappointment but it will live on in my memory

Everything is filling up the canopy nicely so I flipped to flower (10/19/18) so they don’t get to out of control during the first couple weeks as they like to stretch. Will be doing a slight Lollipopping in the next day or 2 and will have to add a second layer of trellis either this week or next.

D64. We're at the start of the fourth week of flower, and today was a busy day. First, I had to remove the old lights before swapping in the light from my auto tent. All while trying to avoid trashing the plants in the way too full tent. Not an easy task. The entire mission, with changing the light in the auto tent as well, took a couple of hours. I wish I could keep the Greenception lights in the tent as they're high-quality lights, but the Kingbrite has a much lower profile and thus takes up much less space. Space that I desperately need considering how insanely much these girls stretched. One of the tops on the second girl has unfortunately already been bunt by being too close to the light, and I'm sure I will run into light bleaching and probably foxtailing as the grow progress, but I hope I will be able to pull it off with the Kingbrite light. I also added some wire support to the branches that I super-cropped, as they looked somewhat sad after all the abuse to the canopy while swapping the lights. ------------------------------ D66. It looks like the girls have FINALLY stopped stretching. Phew! Yesterday, I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.2 with humic acid and EM-1. Today, the green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla Carnea) arrived, and I dispersed them in the tent to deal with the thrips. ------------------------------ D68. All is well in the tent, but now when the thrips are (hopefully) under control, it's time to address the VPD. It has gotten seriously out of wack due to dropping temps, plus I increased the humidity to make the environment more inhospitable for the thrips. The temps were low due to the light change as the new one is running a lot cooler, but the temps have also dropped outside. The heating in the lungroom has been off until now, so I turned that on and lowered the humidity threshold on my exhaust fan. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent, generating extra heat and decreasing the humidity. So far, the VPD has increased from a terrible 0.4-0.5 to an acceptable 0.9, and I'm hoping it will increase further as the ambient RH drops as we move into winter. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The VPD has gone up to 1.0, which is a nice improvement to what it was only a couple of days ago. I haven't scouted yet for thrips, but I will give the lacewings a couple of days to do their thing and then look closer. However, I went to WAR against the spider mites we have in our ornamental plants in the apartment. I sprayed all plants with my homemade pesticide (capsaicin, alcohol, horticultural soap.) since I had it at hand. If that fails to knock the spider mites back, I'll bring out the neem oil instead. The infestations aren't bad (yet), but it would suck to get mites into my tents, so better to be proactive. ------------------------------

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.
