Over all haven't done really much besides another defoliation and lollipoped them taking off the lower 3 nodes. Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. ok so ive repotted the clones into bigger pots and im thinking of moving them outside tbh i wanna get rid of this strain has done it for last 2 crops took a few weeks to notice any new growth roots forming etc but now plants are looking good and ready to be vegged properly

June 22: planted peat pot into final 5 gallon grow bag. Tore bottom off peat pot and ripped sides. Warm overnight so she’ll be outside for first time. June 23: first hot days of summer. Late to start autos but with warm weather they will start quickly. June 28: not much change in the first few days but she should start growing quickly here soon. Gave first compost tea this morning.

07/06/2025 - Day 98 Short Facts: - 86 cm tall - VPD @ 1.0 - Approx. 900 PPFD - Fungus gnats still there - Thrips seen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sorry for not updating the diary over the past few weeks. I had a medical emergency in the family, which caused quite a bit of chaos. There’s not much to report — her flowers are getting bigger and bigger. The smell is really special and intense! It looks like senescence is starting. She has lost some color in her leaves and is now turning more yellow. Just to be safe, I added a small amount of Epsom salt. And of course, there are still problems: The fungus gnats are still around, although there are far fewer than before. I’d say their numbers are down by about 80% compared to the peak, so at least some progress has been made. I’m still fighting them and have ordered more predatory mites. Unfortunately, I also noticed some leaves that didn’t look good, so I took a closer look. The result: I found thrips on both plants. It doesn’t look like a full-blown infestation yet, so I hope I can get it under control. The predatory mites should help, and I’ve also ordered some green lacewing larvae to support the fight and hopefully wipe them out. This whole situation is really frustrating. I recently had to deal with thrips on one of my biggest Alocasias, and I’ve been battling a persistent aphid infestation on my largest Dieffenbachia for weeks now. I’ve never had this many issues with pests before.

Buenass, las Frisian Dew creo ya están para cosechar, tienen casi todos los pelos naranjas, y las flores se caen del peso, asique el lunes que viene seguro las cosecho, ayer ya las regué solo con agua, a la única que le puse agua con fertilizante es a la The Ultimate de la izquierda que esa tiene toda la pinta de que puede engordar un poco mas, detecte de forma temprana una plaga de arañas rojas, aparecieron por la baja humedad y las altas temperaturas, asique estuve cortando varias hojas que vi afectadas, y ya me encargue de bajar la temperatura (bajando el calefactor) y subir la humedad (riego en mayor cantidad), cuando revegete usaré algún producto orgánico como jabón potásico y aceite de neem para mantenerlas a raya, y si puedo incorporar mariquitas mejor (el tema es conseguirlas jeje). A la The Ultimate de la derecha solo le puse agua con un producto anti estrés, si veo que está bien en la semana capaz le mando un poco de fertilizante, pero con respecto a antes está bastante mejor, al final era un problema de PH, un amigo trajo su medidor de PH y el agua con la que riego tiene un PH de 9, asique voy a comenzar a comprar vinagre para reducir el PH del agua, pero se la bancaron bastante bien todo este tiempo, el suelo vivo ayuda bastante a regular el PH... saludos :) (Adición: la semana 19 se me subió recién cuando agregué la semana 20, se me había bugueado jeje)

Плохо переносит большие обьемы еды Эта девочка продолжает почти и очень кустится ! Получает 900 ппм и 6 пш. 30.07.23 -срезал пару больших листьев и освободил пространство для новых побегов и лучшей аэрации . Стресса девочка не испытала 31.07.23-росте очень быстро , акукуратно снимаю большое листья 🍁 Выгладит здорово (только очень кустистый )

Last week

May 25: growing quickly and looking quite good for the end of May. Fifth node is forming and the first topping for the manifold will likely be tomorrow. May 26: raised soil level using Pro-Mix and compost. Got rained on. May 27: first topping down to third node (removed 5 and 4). The only growth tips left are the two on the third node. In about a week these will be topped again. And then again. Manifolding (or mainlining) is totally easy and really is just topping at the right stages of development. Highly recommended technique. May 31: it’s been cool since the topping and seems a bit slow getting going again but I’m sure it’ll be fine. I probably could have waited a few more days before topping but oh well.
