FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. This week I made a short video for each 2502 tester and a pic or 2. GH Flora Micro ½ tsp /gal Gro ½ tsp /gal Bloom ½ tsp /gal Fox CalMag ½ tsp /gal PPM 573 & 715 when I added Plagrons Royal Rush 4ml. Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Hello Diary. A pretty stressful week is behind us. It is now clear that the plants do not respond well. I suspect the lack of Cal-Mag. It's also possible that I put in too much BioBizz. Royal Haze # 1 is the most affected, I get Epsom salt and start watering them with only water and epsom salt. I am sad that this is what is happening right now, I hope to be able to recover them before the cycle is over. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12/12/2019. Day 43. Watering. After adjusting the pH to 6.3, I added epsom salt. One tablespoon per 3.5 liters of water. I usually water the plants in the evening, but today I watered them in the morning. 13/12/2019. Day 44. Watering. This time I watered in the evening, less than 48 hours since the last watering. I did the same thing as the day before. 15/12/2019. Day 46. Watering and taking photos. Today I watered the same as the two previous times. Adjust pH to 6.3 with BioBizz pH- and add epsom salt. I also measured the height of the plants and they may have grown 1 cm. 17/12/2019. Day 48. Watering. Today I only watered with pH regulated water. For now I don't see any changes to recover, I plan to go to a grow shop for some advice. 18/12/2019. Day 49. Photography. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All three plants have grown differently but they grow beautifully, the smell is strong, the flowers are filling well. I have to put them back in balance and everything will be great. Gonna start leaving them out a few nights a week on the warmer days The m:f ratio is equaling out to be much closer to 1:1 which is great. The clones I'm not giving as gifts could also make great backups for some of these. Most of my friends grow indoors so I give them the short and stocky phenos and I keep the tall lanky
