Both the girls are doing very well and are continuing to stretch. No problems at all from either one of the plants. They deff started sprouting there pistols and where Alaskan purple fell behind in veg, she is now ahead in the flowering stage. The bottom leaves shrivelled which I am aware this will happen during this stage so I cut them off and there is a little nutes burm on Alaskan purple so the next two feedings will be with distilled water with pH of 6.5.

Week 4 - It’s Friday again, and that means it's update day! Another week has passed, and as usual, there's plenty to report. A lot has happened, and once again, I’m bringing you along on my journey as a total beginner in the world of growing. Every week is a new learning experience, and I’m excited to share what’s been going on in the tent as my Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies continue to grow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 43-55% -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) Watering Schedule: -Day 24: 1 liter -Day 26: 1 liter -Nutrients are applied with every watering Light Adjustments: -Light distance now at 50 cm -Intensity increased to level 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update The most noticeable change this week has been the incredible growth of the plants. I’ve uploaded some new photos for everyone to see, and it’s amazing how much they’ve shot up compared to last week. The differences in growth behavior between the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies are becoming even more pronounced. The Amnesia Zkittlez has more than doubled in height since last week, shooting up and stretching outward. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Cookies hasn’t grown as much in height, but it has become noticeably rounder and bushier, almost like a pufferfish. It's fascinating to watch these plants develop in such different ways. While the Zkittlez focuses on vertical growth, the Gorilla Cookies is spreading out horizontally, forming a dense, compact structure. All around the plant, small flower sites are emerging, extending from within the plant and beginning to take shape. This difference in growth styles really highlights the unique characteristics of each strain, and I’m excited to see how they continue to evolve. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Defoliation This week, I’ve also focused heavily on training the plants using Low-Stress Training (LST) and some selective defoliation to optimize light exposure and encourage better growth. I applied LST more aggressively over the past few days, using clips to gently bend the stems of individual branches outward, almost to a 90-degree angle. This technique has helped the plants spread out horizontally, allowing more light to reach the inner and lower branches. I’ve been adjusting the clips nearly every day to refine the structure and ensure that the light penetrates deeper into the canopy. The goal is to encourage outward growth and create more space for the lower branches to thrive. In addition to LST, I began selectively removing leaves. I started with the first set of fan leaves, followed by leaves growing inward toward the plant’s center. These were either shading promising bud sites or simply not contributing to the plant’s energy needs. I’ve also removed the lower bud sites, which likely wouldn’t have developed into anything substantial. This way, the plants can focus their energy on the more promising, higher-up buds that are receiving better light. Throughout the defoliation process, I’ve been careful not to remove too many leaves at once. I’ve only taken off leaves that were either blocking key bud sites or were small and shaded, ensuring that the plant still has enough foliage to continue its healthy growth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering Routine There haven't been any changes in my nutrient schedule or the way I water the plants this week. I’m still using the same BioBizz nutrients at the recommended dosages with each watering, and the watering process itself remains unchanged. Each plant receives a consistent 1 liter of water every couple of days, and so far, the plants are responding well. However, based on some recommendations I’ve received, I’m planning to introduce CalMag from BioBizz into my watering routine over the course of the next week. This will help ensure that the plants have enough calcium and magnesium, which are essential for strong cell structure and nutrient uptake, especially as we move further into the flowering phase. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections and Lessons Learned As I progress through this grow, I’m realizing how much more there is to learn, especially when it comes to managing light exposure and training techniques. It’s been rewarding to see how the plants respond to LST and defoliation, but I’m still figuring out the perfect balance. Every small change seems to make a big difference, and I’m constantly amazed by how quickly these plants adapt. Being a beginner, this process has been both challenging and exciting, and I can’t wait to see how the flowering stage develops. This journey has been a humbling experience, reminding me that growing plants isn’t just about following steps, but also about observing and learning from the plants themselves. Every day brings new insights and challenges, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see these changes reflected in the health and growth of the plants. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead In the next week, I’ll continue to monitor the pre-flowering phase closely. I expect the water and nutrient demands to increase even more as the plants transition into full flowering, so I’m preparing to increase the watering amount to 1.2 liters per plant soon. I’ll also be keeping an eye on the structure of the plants, especially the differences between the Gorilla Cookies and Amnesia Zkittlez. I may begin defoliating some of the lower leaves to give the plants more room to breathe and allow light to penetrate deeper into the canopy. There’s a lot of excitement ahead as the flowering phase approaches, and I’m eager to see how the plants respond to these new stages of growth. This week has been great! All the babies are looking nice an healthy an most of all happy ! This week we started hitting it with nutrients and we went by General Hydroponics feeding chart for seedlings , using 1/4 tsp of Rapid Start, 3tsp CaliMagic, 1/4 tsp Flora Gro , 1/4 tsp Flora Micro , and 1/4 tsp FloraBloom mixed in pure water PHd at 6.5 ! It’s been a little while since I’ve grown Photoperiods, been doing Autoflowers for a bit so y’all please bare with me, I promise it’s gonna be fire!! Hello Diary. The last week was over and we came to the end of the journey. Ten weeks in total, three weeks of vegetation and seven weeks of flowering, and a total of 77 days since Mimosa # 1 sprouted, while Mimosa # 2 sprouted a few days later but their harvest was the same day. Last week there were no surprises, I watered the plants regularly and observed the development of trichomes. Mimosa # 1 - beautiful structure of the stem, I had to connect the branches to the stem and the stick that I put later, so that the branches would not crack and the plant would be more beautiful for the last photo shoot. The flowers are smaller and more airy, they did not fill as I expected, but they are full of trichomes, sticky under the fingers and have a strong scent. I will see what the flowers will look like after drying. Mimosa # 2 - looks a lot better. Although she stretched a lot, the flowers filled much better than her sister Mimosa # 1. With the look of the flowers, I wouldn’t say it’s the same strain. I had to stabilize it with tying, the whole plant swayed heavily given the weight of the flowers at the top of the stalk. Both plants have been closer to light than Migro recommends in the last few weeks, but as far as I can see, nothing has hurt them. As I expect to harvest, this week I followed the development of trichomes on the flowers, most of them milky and when I noticed the appearance of browns, I prepared everything and had a harvest. So I harvested all three plants in the grow box the same day. The condition in the grow box is satisfactory, the temperature is around 29 degrees and the humidity is slightly lower than 50%, and one fan blows all the time, mixing the air in the box. I can't say yet exactly if I am satisfied, we will see after drying what we managed to achieve. As for the yield, I don’t believe it will be spectacular, especially with Mimosa # 1, but I won’t predict anything in advance. After I cut the plants at the bottom of the stalk, I hung them in a grow-box upside down to dry. Since I dry whole plants in one piece with the flowers, they will probably take longer to dry completely. The ventilation will stay on to make the airflow better. Here’s what the last week looked like. 19/07/2021 - Day 65. Watering. I adjusted the p.H to 6.3 and with 8 liters of water I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 51% humidity. 21/07/2021 - Day 67. Watering. p.H 6.4. Same procedure as two days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 41% humidity. 23/07/2021 - Day 69. Last watering. p.H I dropped to 6.4. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 48% humidity. 25/07/2021 - Day 71. Photography and Harvest. After taking photos and video, I cut off the plant at the bottom of the stalk and hung it in a grow-box to dry in the dark. Whenever I write a report from the last week, some nostalgia overwhelms me after the harvest. I hang out with them every day, I take care of them, I send them positive energy and I hope they will reward me richly for it. We'll see what the reward will be here. Update week 4 Bloom

Start of flushing for the blueberries, both blueberry plants have very heavy, sticky, stank buds, I'm looking forward to harvesting these beauties! Start of the last week of nutes for the super lemon haze, she has packed in the weight, buds have filled out nicely and stickier than the blueberries. She's still hungrier than the Blueberries, taking an extra 2 liters of feed each week. If the trichomes are showing cloudiness by day 5 of this week, I'll flush her early.

Still a ways to go for this lass but she's lookin nice and frosty. Wish I'd had more opportunity (and inclination) to train as she's quite leafy and the lower bud sites are getting crowded out a bit. She'll have the tent to herself for a while as her sister doesn't have long to go.

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. The rez is 483 ppm. The girls are looking good and nitrogen toxicity seems to have stopped. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.1 to 6.3. The rez is 477 ppm. Trichomes seem to be 10% cloudy so I still have a bit to go i'm thinking 9 weeks should be a good bet! On day 3 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.1. The rez is 500 ppm. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 503 ppm. I lowered the ppfd so my tallest received 900 ppfd and an average of 543 ppfd. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 519 ppm. I removed some of the extra fan leaves blocking bud sites. On day 6 I changed out the reservoir with only tap water and adjusted the PH from 6.7 to 6.1 with a ppm of 249. The trichomes are maturing and I plan on harvesting on week 8 day 4 of flower. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.5 to 6.0. The rez ppm is 250.

This is the last week I gave veg nutrients, from next week my little girls will get flowering nutrients for the first time. These girls are growing much faster than I was expecting, It’s good to see how healthy are they. :) By the way these plants smell incredibly strong! Usually during vegetation they don’t smell too much, but this plant is an exception. They smell as they are already producing buds for a couple of weeks.
