Holy crap tried a bud, not even cured yet just dried, and this weed is some of the tastiest I've ever smoked. Very fruity smell and taste. You could swear your eating a pineapple while you smoke it. Even while trimming all you can smell is strong fruit/citrus and a heavy skink undertone.
Grow was smooth sailing and no issues. Mostly mid to smaller buds, but they are dense and packed with trichomes. The high is very relaxing, easily zone into whatever your doing and cruise.

Great product, never any transplant shock since starting to use and noticed a good increase (about 15-20%) in my yields.

Nice and thick keeps smells and environment where you want it, in the tent not your house.
Was a lot of fun to grow this classic strain. I feel like if I had thinned them out a bit more and removed more of the lowers I would have ended up with fatter colas. I usually grow that style, but wanted to see what a thicker canopy did. Weight will tell the winner, but buds for sure larger when more room for light and air penetration.
Overall had great colour and a sweet smell of pineapple, earthy, and dank.
Smoke review
After 24 days of drying the girls were finally ready for their final trim. Lots of medium sized buds so used the bowl trimmer. Does as good a job as I would do and saves time. Into the Terploc bags for their final cure. I'm sure if I had been better at managing the plants the buds would be larger, I found I left too many small branches that made for good trim. Really I don't care about size, just want a good yield and I'm more than happy with the results ๐

I like the video you have posted showing how to add the root stimulator. really informative and simple. genius! if you have time an equally useful video would be FIM and top videos when you do them. Your plants look like the are taking off nicely. My Purple k and original Strawberry cough didn't germinate so i had to start again with grand mommy purple and three additional Strawberry coughs from dutch passion which i planted directly in soil no germination and the popped up after 3 days.
Keep up the awesome grows!

That's too bad about your original straw cough, I learned the hard way with a horribly failed auto run it's ALL about the genetics. I'll personally only buy reputable seeds now, not worth the time/cost loss IMO

Your ladies definitely look happy bro, what node did you top to? I previously topped above the 4th or 5th when not building mainlines, but thinking about topping to 6th on this run....

@Tweezer, thanks dude ๐. This time I topped at the 6th node. But prior to topping (maybe a 4-7 days) I removed the lowest two nodes leaving 4 after topping. Usually I top at 4-5 also, seems to be taking it better this time around.

@gottagrowsometime, I was tempted with the mars hydro, the price is great, but actually won the x465w in a draw at a local grow store a while back! Was so happy with it I wanted one for smaller tent ,got lucky and I scored a 40% off deal on the SQ300w. Very happy with performance and build quality, but a sale really helps.
They are the North American branch of Lumatek Lights.

@DYNOMYCO, thanks for the praise! Been really enjoying your product, first time growing it was not on grow diaries but I saw a 15-20% better yield when used head to head with no Dynomyco on same strain. Haven't done a grow without it since!

looks like you have hoped on the express x 4 this year, Fantastic! are you going to do an all indoor grow this year? you plants look like they are off to a good start i will be watching and learning from your grow again this year.
I have set up my diary for 4 plants as well this time, as i had good success outdoors last year going to go outdoors again. Going to track them in grow diaries properly this year.
4 strains i got on the go this year are:
Strawberry cough (Feminized-native seeds Corp), Girl scout cookies (feminized-dutch passion), Sour girl (autoflower- Crop King), and Purple Kush (feminized-Crop King)

@Puffy_Clouds, hey hope you had a good winter! Always wanted to try this strain figured it's about time. Will still be doing a couple of outdoor plants this summer (Bubba Kush), mostly for hash and rosin pressing. Lucky for us my wife has her medical licence and we are legal to grow 12 plants on my property (total of indoor and outdoor). I see your doing a few outdoor autos, I'll be sure to follow along I've always been curious how they perform outdoors. Can't wait to get this summer season started! Happy growing my dude ๐
