Seeds in glass of water, popped and in soil 72 hours later roughly 1cm tap root on each. 5 days later 3/4 are through the soil, and at end of germination week they're all through soil and working on first set of leaves. Let the fun begin! First time doing this strain, always wanted to try it since watching the movie hahaha.

Week one above the dirt is finished! Put them in the big tent under the x465 on day 8 from seed. Light started 40"@30% and has been increased to 40"@50% throughout the week, giving roughly 275 PAR. Bottom watered on day 9 from seed, just put them in a tray of PH water for 20 minutes and let them soak up what they wanted. Happy happy and just really getting going! Stay tuned for more adventures on the Pineapple Express 🙂

Well it's been a good week and the Pineapple Express is coming along nicely. Have still been bottom watering with them in solo cups, and can already see roots coming through bottom. Maybe it's why they look kinda sad today, probably transplant tomorrow morning into the 2 gallon containers, mid week at latest. Usually do when they have 3-4 sets of branches going so timing feels right. Also no fungus gnats issues yet, probably thanks to bottom watering 👍. Through the week brought the light up to 60% and height to 25", roughly 350 PAR if my math is right (it usually is). Nice thing about a light that dims properly 🙂, maybe one of these days spend the dough on a PAR meter 🤷. Hope things continue down the good path and should see some big changes soon! Happy growing

Little bit of work this week but mostly an easy week watching the ladies grow and adjust to their new homes. On day 22 from Seed repotted the girls to their 2 gallon homes. I like to go from cups to 2 gal for veg then up to 5 gal for flower. Roots looked good and healthy already filling the cups well. Probably why they were needing water almost daily before transplant! Did the usual amendments (all purpose, basalt Rock, dia earth, and dynomyco) and living 50/50 new soil and reused soil from last grow. They all seemed to take it well, sad for a few days but I think I gave a bit too much water when transplanted. Now they're perking back up nicely. Late week did a Diatomaceous Earth treatment on top to keep bugs away. Will get the food out of tent this week and will be no more worries after that. Hope everyone has a happy 4/20 and a good grow week!

Was a great week! This pineapple express just seems to keep rolling along smooth and steady. Topped the girls early on the week and by the next day they were already praying again. At end of week (3 days later) noticable growth on new tops, maybe 1" on each. Bottoms are catching up and will get to start training them soon. Still have all the peppers and lettuce in the tent keeping them company until the food can go outside and the girls can have free reign of the tent. Light is 80%@23" and they're happy, just letting them get to 20" then keep light at that height. Water when dried out, seems to be the way to go! Hoping for another smooth week, happy growing all!

Well it was a nice easy week! Most just watching the plants grow. All the girls recovered from topping very nicely, and enough new growth to start training. #1/#3 using LST ties, #3/#4 using leaf tucking. Just trying one vs the other to see if results vary much. So far all plants are same height and the branches are starting a nice even canopy. Maybe another week or so left in the 2 gal pots then up to the 5 gal they go! Happy growing all

Well another week has past and the plants are still just chugging along! Did a good defoliation on first day of the week, but totally forgot to take pictures day of 🤦‍♂️. Also readjusted all the LST, and within 24 hours they looked happy as ever. Each plant has a nice flat canopy, now I just have to keep it that way. Won't be able to train much more until into the bigger pots so just let them grow. Speaking of, they aren't getting much taller but bushing out very well. By end of week was very filled in from defoliation already, gives me a feeling I'll be cleaning up these girls a lot! Also top dressed last day of the week with some all purpose. Been 28 days already since planting into the 2 gallon, time sure flies! Water intake is up to 1.5L per plant every 2 days, if go three just too droopy. Means have to get them into the 5 gallon soon, within next week or so. Until then just let them rest and grow.

The good times just keep on rolling with this Pineapple Express! Not much vertical growth recorded this week, but I've been working hard on the LST to really push these girls out and keep them flat. Aiming for a full 4x4 canopy this run gonna max this tent! Day 54 was a busy day, decided to move the girls into their new homes. Mixed up some Fox Farm Happy Frog and the usual amendments, sprinkle in the Dynomyco and away we go! Also redid all the LST ties, flattened the plants right out, and gave a medium defoliation of all the lower/inner branches while I was at it. They looked a little sad afterwards, but by the next day they were praying and looking like they didn't skip a beat! Looking like another week or two of training and then will get the net in and flip these babies into flower.

Well this Express just keeps on chugging along! Smooth and steady just the way I like it. 4" growth vertical this week, and all the girls are now wider than their pots by a few inches. The way things are going it'll only be another week until it's time to flip! Just want to get them trained out a little fatter to really pack the tent wall to wall. Water intake is up slightly, watering 3L each every 3 days and so far they just start to droop on water day. So far this strain has been a great grow, she's been taking really well to LST and topping. Leaves are a great color and so far haven't spotted anything out of the ordinary. Let's keep this rolling smooth and get her ready to flower!

Well the last week of Veg is officially past! Next week will be the start of flower and then we will see how these girls really perform 💪. Good week with lots going on. Day 66 took the girls out of the tent for the last time to give them a serious trimming. Were so busy before full shade under canopy, after could see some good light penetration to lower branches. Also did a redo of all the ties to really get them flattened out. Day 67 got the scrog netting installed and filled pretty much every hole except for 2-3. The tent is fully packed and ready for the flower stretch! Day 69 took off three hours of daylight and increased light to 90% (10% increase). Day 70 shortened again by three hours and another 10% increase, meaning day 71 will be first full day of 12/12 and 100% light! So exciting, always love watching the stretch and the anticipation of a packed tent. Hoping for a smooth transition and hopefully start seeing flower signs on next few days. Watering is up to 4L per plant every 3 days.

Well we are now 7 days into 12/12 light cycle and have just started to see all plants starting to flower! Such an exciting time. These girls have gotten bushy again though, and so fast! Defoliated 12 days ago and will have to defoliated again tomorrow. They're filling in SO FAST gotta try and keep up! Throughout the week just worked on getting the girls set in the net where I want them. Could have maybe had more vertical growth but I want this tent packed! Top dressed on Day 77 from Seed with the usual Gaia ammendments, good for another three weeks now. Hoping for another good week 🤞

Well I gotta say, if your someone who loves to defoliated then this is the strain for you! She fills in so fast and thick, seems like every 2 weeks I'm pulling a full 5 gallon bucket of leaves off the girls! Defoliation beginning of week on day 78, took about 2 hours to do the whole tent couldn't believe how full they were! Beginning was full shade under plants, by end lots of light and air coming through. Also removed most of lower LST ties but did add some ties on the netting just to micro adjust branches and maximize airflow. Was worried I had taken off too much, but within 36 hours they were praying like champs. By end of week benefits were evident, got a good 5-6" growth and seeing good start to flower on all plants now. Now it's just keeping the environment locked in, keep up with watering (4L every 3 days per plant) and watch the magic happen 😁. Happy growing all!

Just like a train this Pineapple Express grow just keeps chugging along on smooth tracks! Bud sites are popping up everywhere, the tent is packed wall to wall, and the girls are looking happy as ever, which means I am happy! 🙂 Laid back week, just watering and watching the ladies grow. Speaking of growth they have gotten really thick again, been about two weeks now since last defoliation so probably will have to thin them out again in next few days. After that it'll just be keeping the environment on point (easy with automated controls) and enjoy watching the girls grow. Hope everyone else's week was as good as ours over here! Happy growing.

Well aside from a big leaf cleanup on Day 92 it was a pretty smooth and straightforward week. The pile may not look like much but that was 2 hours of leaf removal and branch adjustments, ended up filling a 2 gallon bucket compacted! At start of trim lower 1/3 of canopy was just not getting the light. Leaves were a lighter shade of green, and looking sad and damp. Most leaves were pulled from the top 2/3, which really opened up the rest of the plant. Much more light and airflow through afterwards, and by end of week the leaves in lower 1/3 are looking healthy and have darkened up. Plant #2 does have a bit of wind burn on two of the tops, but they're the ones that shot above the rest and are close to the fan so no surprise there. May end up raising the fan, but I like my fans below the lights so we shall see what happens. Top dressing on Day 98, which is 21 days since the last top dressing. 7 tbsp power bloom to 3 tbsp all purpose now that we are into flower and they're not craving the nitrogen as much. Full amounts of superfly and Rock dust. Water 1L per plant prior to make soil easier to break up and work in ammendments, then rest of water afterwards. Let's hope this train keeps on rolling smooth! Exciting seeing how many buds are starting, if they keep stacking it could be a tent full of monster buds by the end 😲.

Another week has passed and things are still looking great! All the girls are well into flower now and have started to build trichomes. Probably do a defoliation again tomorrow, they're pretty darn bushy again and could use some better light/air penetration before buds get fat. Not much happening otherwise, just keeping the humidifier full (only runs day day before watering) and the girls watered and happy. Smell is getting stronger, if tent is open for a few minutes you can smell it in the whole basement. Probably because of the heavy canopy, means the carbon filters will be working hard for yet another run! Happy growing!

So another week of flower has passed and the girls are starting to show some colour already! Couple of the plants have some purple starting in many of the fan leaves. I'm guessing with the low night temps it could be a colourful flower! Not much work other than a heavy defoliation on Day 106 from Seed. Has been just over two weeks since the last, and upon inspection the inside canopy was looking pretty wilted and not healthy colour. So put in a few hours of work and thinned them out really well just before lights off. Very noticable difference, was full shade under canopy before, and afterwards need grow glasses. Removed enough leaves that it filled a 5 gallon bucket 3/4 of the way! By end of week the inner canopy has regained a healthy colour and no longer wilting. Also added a second fan below canopy to help keep the air moving. These fans are nice and quiet, have 4 running (only 15 watt power draw each) and can barely hear them from the couch 5 feet away. Still watering 4 liters per plant every 72 hours.

Let the colour begin! All the plants except #3 are showing lots of colour change now, beauty purple and light greens coming out. I feel like #3 may not end up looking the same as the rest, she is the runt afterall! But I have noticed sometimes the runt ends up with killer buds, so 🤞 she's a performer! Everything looking nice and healthy, #3 starting to get a few dried leaves here and there, could be finishing earlier or could be bit of spray from Humidifier and the lights. Adjusted the humidifier see if it stops. Not really concerned, just not an issue I usually have either so keeping a close eye on her. Otherwise nice smooth week, top dressed day 113 for last time with powerbloom and Superfly to get them through the last few weeks. Happy growing y'all!

Week 8 of flower is at a close and these girls are really starting to express themselves. They're slowly putting on their colours and getting ready to really shine. Some of the close up pics looks like a red trichome here and there, will have to break out the scope soon and keep an eye, aiming for the 5-10% range. They're smelling delicious and quite strong. Not as strong as the Pink Lemonade I did last run, but they're close! Nice fruity smell and a heavy dankness hahaha. Carbon filter on the 6" fan , don't even notice the tent smell being in the same room. Dropping humidity to 45%, will have the VPD between 1.1-1.3 for the remainder of the grow. Let's keep these girls healthy and cruise to that finish line!

Well that's all she wrote folks! Broke out the magnifier on day 127 after watering and low and behold every pic I snapped had reds in it! Let them run for 4 more days just to dry them out and will be harvesting this afternoon. Reds looking about 5%, which is right where I like them. Buds look just coated in resin, trichomes just packed on there. Can't wait to get these dried and sampled in a month or so! Harvest pics tonight or tomorrow depends when finish. She was a great grow, never any issues along the way, and made for a nice colourful tent with some great aromas. Sweet and stinky, and I swear a hint of pineapple 🤤 Until the next one!

Was a lot of fun to grow this classic strain. I feel like if I had thinned them out a bit more and removed more of the lowers I would have ended up with fatter colas. I usually grow that style, but wanted to see what a thicker canopy did. Weight will tell the winner, but buds for sure larger when more room for light and air penetration. Overall had great colour and a sweet smell of pineapple, earthy, and dank.
