DAY 49 F: Hi all. Hope we are all sane and smiling still in the topsy turvy world we inhabit.... These girls have been showing off all week and getting excited for their photo/video stardom to arrive and here we are..... The surrogates that got ousted to the other space are adding amazing , the gorllia cookie are a very productive pair of girls and really starting to look potent and close to finishing. They smell so candy sweet up close and are in perfect health besides the remnants of calmag issues and a few natural fading leaves in one or two places. Mutant #2 Northern Lights has also put a nice bit of bud weight on but nowhere near as much as her sister under the pocket rocket xs1500. #1 Northern lights lady has gone from an innocent , pure white girl and heading into a colourful Jezebel to pull the pollen carriers in. She has a few orange hairs appearing now but is still in a full flush of her original set too. With about 2 weeks to go ans swelling daily , she could be a show stopper of an example of Fast buds genetics. Each long chunky main is beginning to smell so sweet when touched too. A very worthy strain to grow so far ... My Grandaddys Mimosa is really kicking into high gear with her second pistil flush now. This is why I use the Shogun Dragon force and the mimosa is a perfect example of the benefit of it. She is possibly going to double her bud girth with the extra boost it can offer. She has some very tight feeling buds when pressed and even with the higher leaf ratio , should produce some good yield. There is a definite purpling to her inner bud which is not from the Male lemon mimosa and is a good clue to which female the seed came from during the raping !!! My best inspector Cluesoe skills will get to work to find her now. She must be a fruity strain from the secondary terps i am getting too. Her height is only about 1ft but her general potential wont be held back by this fact I dont think. This next week should see the Mimosa ripen and swollen to her finish and the Northern lights still in mid swell hopefully. Fingers crossed it keeps on the positive vibe. Be well growmies.

Week 10 - Second Week of Flowering 🌸 As week two of flowering begins, the garden’s growth is unstoppable! These ladies are thriving, stretching up while staying beautifully vibrant and green. Every inch of this tent is optimized—each plant is soaking up light, nutrients, and water precisely as they need, filling the room with energy. Room Conditions 🌡️ • Temperature: 27.3°C • Humidity: 62.6% • CO₂ Levels: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.36 kPa (excellent range for robust flowering) • Lighting Intensity: 818 PPFD Solution & Medium 💧 • Solution Temp: 21.5°C | TDS: 470 ppm | pH: 6.02 • Medium: Moisture 100% (recently dried to 67%), TDS 510 ppm, Temp 22.5°C The “dry-out” to 67% was a strategic move, helping boost nutrient uptake and root strength. Meanwhile, our slight increase in reds seems to be having the desired effect, nudging these ladies further along in the flowering process. Week 9 of Flower and the TKO is just about ripe at 63 days of flower today (5/12). I've never had to time a DWC bucket flush before, so going purely on instinct. Specifically, Trichomes are mostly milky with amber development. I am hoping a 3-5 day flush with ph'd RO water will bring out any potential color AND that Trichomes will continue to ripen bringing amber to about 15-20%. As for the week in review, I'd say pretty uneventful, which is good. Continued daily water and ppm level drops with stable ph range readings - zero wild swings. She's kicking up some incredibly strong sweet gassy smell mixed with that typical Kush aroma. She's frosty with multiple thick medium-to-large ball shaped colas. Looking forward to completing the DWC bucket flush and harvesting the girl. Next couple of posts (i.e., Harvest & Cure) will end this TKO spring 23 run. Have more of these beans from Ganja Farmer Seeds, so looking forward to running her back in the future.

Going well. Think I may flip in the next week. Don't want the plants to become too unmanageable for my first crop. Really enjoying the learning process. Thinking a t-break starting soon would make it easier to enjoy the harvest. Ein schönes Wuchsbild verreint mit einer starken Indica Dominanz. Nach der ersten Blütenwoche entwickeln sich allmählich die Blütentriebe und die ersten Stigmen sind sichtbar. Also Düngerkomponenten kam das Greenhouse Feeding BioBloom und der entsprechende Enhancer zum Einsatz. Der Stängelabrieb duftet schon stark nach säuerlichen, dieselartigen Nuancen, mit einen etwas GMO typischen Aroma. The end of this week marks the beginning of the root flush, the last stage before harvesting, as it’s the final week in which nutrients are applied. The plants have shown remarkable development: the buds have become massive, and the main colas are nearly the size of my hand. I’ve followed the BioBizz feeding schedule precisely, and I highly recommend this brand for its organic formulation and balanced nutrient profile. Throughout the grow, I’ve maintained an EC level of approximately 1.8 mS/cm and a pH range between 6.3 and 6.4, which has ensured optimal nutrient uptake with no visible deficiencies or toxicities. The trichomes are now roughly 50% milky and 50% clear, a clear sign that the harvest window is approaching. Although Sweet Seeds specifies an 8-week flowering period for this strain, my plants appear to need around two additional weeks, bringing the total to about 10 weeks of flowering. I prefer to avoid rushing the process, allowing the plants to reach full maturity and to develop their terpene profile and potency to the fullest before harvesting and starting the drying phase. The only minor disappointment is the lack of the expected reddish hues on the colas—according to the strain description, there was a 60% chance of red coloration, but none of the three plants have displayed it so far. Perhaps some tinting might appear during the final week, though it seems unlikely. We’re now officially in week 9 of flowering, and I’ve begun the flush to remove excess salts from the substrate, ensuring a cleaner, smoother taste in the final product.

We are now fully into early–mid flowering and the crop is developing exactly as planned. Bud sites are well defined across the entire canopy, with uniform stacking and good internodal spacing thanks to proper SCROG management and selective lower clean-up. Environmental parameters have remained stable throughout the week: • Day temperature: ~24–25 °C • Relative humidity: ~50–55 % • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 kPa • PPFD: ~860–890 µmol/m²/s • DLI: ~38.8 mol/m²/day This setup is allowing the plants to push photosynthesis efficiently without showing signs of light or heat stress. Tops are healthy, leaves remain responsive, and flower sites are actively building mass. Nutrient strategy is focused on supporting flower development while maintaining balance: • Stable EC around 1.1–1.2 mS/cm • pH consistently adjusted to ~6.3 • Gradual reduction of Grow and controlled increase of Bloom inputs Some lower leaf yellowing is present, which is expected at this stage as the plants redirect energy and mobile nutrients toward flower production. Overall vigor, structure, and resin development indicate good root function and nutrient uptake. The coming phase will focus on maintaining this stability while carefully increasing demand to support flower bulking, always prioritizing quality, resin production, and final yield potential. Everything is progressing according to plan. 🚀🌸

The CBD Red Pure also showed a severe lack of magnesium and potassium. I therefore increased the Bloom fertilizer to 8mg/l once. I use organic fertilizer here and this strain seems to show a high demand for nutrients. However, we are in the last few weeks and I am sure that I will get them through until then. Again, learned a lot from this grow but I think I will try a new fertilizer after this grow as I am reaching my limits with the organic fertilizer scheme here.

The Plant as a hole (without the main stem and roots was 1.4kg. due to German laws I could only keep around 250g of the nicest buds of it. This should end in around 50g of dried flower. The wet flower weight would likely be around 1kg which would have resulted in 200g dry. For drying i took one nice branch of 42g and hung it on my ESPHome scale. That way I can track the weight loss. After a week at 60% humidity and 11°C (52F) the weight was constant at 10.8g. This is the time I took down all the drying branches, trimmed them and put them to cure (where they now are). Overall conclusion and learnings of this grow: - 200W might not be enough - Growing in DWC without any media (like pebbles, rock wool or so) is absolutely doable - Compo Expert Hakaphos Red/Green works but you will battle PH drops - The UVC aquarium cleaner worked great. Never had to use H2O2 - Renewing the water only if really needed works fine for me - 15L of Water should be the lower limit. The bucket I used was great but maybe a bit small - Automatic PH dosing (based on ESPHome and Home Assistant) works great - The cheap Chinese PH/EC probe did not drift much. I only had to recalibrate it once - It is nice to have the plant elevated for working on it but can get tricky if the stretch is very high like in this case Overall I'm happy. I did not have any bigger issue with pests or nutrient deficiency.

Los erizos se compactan y la resina se hace cada vez más visible, señal de que la planta centra su energía en densidad y producción de terpenos. Los aromas se intensifican y las flores dominan completamente la planta en esta recta final. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Not much to tell this week, happy to say that she's been doing well over the last week while she has been flushed with ph'd tap water! She is now getting close to harvest time, I think I might let her flush for a couple of days more before I harvest her😁 She is a little older and further along than the rest of the tent, so she will be the only one to be harvested and I will let the three other run until I see amber trichomes develop on them! I planted her a little earlier than the three others to allow me to use her as my "test dummy" for my first run, and so I could make corrections for the other three early on! But even though she has been my tester and has taken a bit of abuse from time to time while I was still more unsure of everything at the start, she has still turned out way better than I ever had dared to hope for when I started this journey over 100 days ago, and the heavy aroma shes giving off is amazing and she has developed some of the more dense nugs out of my four girls so far! 🙏 But yeah I'm thinking that I will harvest her tomorrow or the day after at the latest to let me get a trail run off on drying before I harvest the other three girls, just to make sure I get that process down! 11 days of drying. I just trimmed her and put her in glass jars to cure. Trim was not to bad, got through her in about 1 hours, rough trim. I sampled this one alot while drying so her end weight is be more, maybe 5 grams. Her offical weigh was 61grams. The wet weight consist of entire plant. Branches and all which wa 465grams. From one of the videos you can see where 3 of her branches were broken because they were tied down. Self inflicted supercrop. A testament to how resilient these genetics are.
