Day 50 from seed and these BCN criticals have a lovely citrus smell. When i open the tent, its the first thing i smell. Theyre all healthy and running. Lights are still on 20/4. Bit of redish/amber hairs showing up. When i loom at other pictures its just the genes of the genetic. I Cant wait to harvest this! Ive started adding more biobizz as it states on the chart. And then i water with normal tap water every 2 days! I will post an update for week 8 next week! One love!

The plants, especially the CBD starts yellowing. This could be due to the ph of 7. I will try to give water without nutrients to lower the ph. I added a little bit of lactic acid to the water. There are still signs of white flies, all the ladybugs have died. Im doubing to buy new ones and try to give them a house first in the propagator.

🌱 Week 1 — LSD (Zamnesia Seeds) – 12/12 From Seed | Update & Observations ✨ Introduction & Gratitude A massive thank you to everyone supporting this project: • Zamnesia Seeds for the LSD feminized genetics. • Plagron for LightMix Bio and the nutrient line powering this run. • Future of Grow for the Air Grow Pro III 2.95 Hyper Red LED & Nova 2C Pro controller. • Cannakan for the germination bundle and clean start. • And of course — GrowDiaries community, followers, supporters, critics – all of you bringing energy to the project. Your presence transforms a simple grow into a full learning journey. ⸻ 🌱 Germination Success & Early Structure Many seeds germinated beautifully — strong, vibrant, full of potential. I’m officially cataloging two plants here on GrowDiaries, but behind the scenes I’m maintaining several siblings for phenotype observation and comparison. This run is 12/12 from seed, which creates a very specific growth pattern: During Week 1: • Plants remain very small (just a couple of centimeters). • Above-ground growth is minimal. • Below-ground activity is extremely high. This is expected — and intentional. ⸻ 🌘 Understanding 12/12 From Seed When a plant receives 12/12 from day one, the message is: “The season is ending soon — focus on rooting and survival.” So instead of stretching or building large leaves, she invests early energy into: • Expanding roots • Stabilizing her metabolism • Preparing for an early, compact flowering cycle • Setting the foundation before vertical growth begins From my past 12/12 tests, this is always the pattern: Weeks 1–3 = Root-building mode Then suddenly — they take off. This method produces smaller but extremely resinous plants with fast turnaround and interesting terpene expression. ⸻ 💧 Feeding – Plagron Nutrient Strategy (Week 1) Even in Week 1 we’re feeding intentionally, because 12/12 requires an accelerated metabolic ramp. Water mix: • Terra Grow: 25 ml / 10 L • Power Roots: 1 ml / L • Pure Zym: 1 ml / L • Sugar Royal: 1 ml / L Foliar spray: • Vita Race: 2.5 ml / L Why this works: • Power Roots accelerates root mass — crucial for 12/12. • Pure Zym keeps soil active and helps nutrient absorption. • Sugar Royal boosts stress tolerance & vigor. • Terra Grow prevents early N deficiencies. • Vita Race strengthens the seedlings right away. This creates a balanced early nutrient environment for fast-cycle genetics. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Water Metrics Everything is stable and aligned with early root development: • EC: ~1.0 • pH: ~6.0 • Water temperature: 21–22°C • Room temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: 65–70% • CO₂: ~666 ppm (a number I personally enjoy 😄) This environment encourages rapid enzymatic activity, strong roots, and good nutrient flow. ⸻ 💡 Lighting – 500 PPFD From Day One We’re running 500 PPFD from the start, controlled by the Nova 2C Pro. Most growers start low… but in 12/12 from seed, higher PPFD ensures the plants receive enough total daily light early on. Why this works: • Ensures strong photosynthesis despite short photoperiod • Prepares the plants for higher PPFD later • Reduces stretch • Works extremely well with the Future of Grow Hyper Red spectrum The seedlings are responding exactly as expected — compact and healthy. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Weeks 2–3 • Slow, steady vertical growth • Leaf expansion • Root zone fully activates • First signs of hormonal shift toward pre-flower Weeks 4–5 • Miniature stretch phase • Formation of early bud sites • Structure hardens and prepares for flower stacking This run will produce compact, fast, resin-rich plants — perfect for demonstrating what’s possible with professional gear and alternative light cycles. ⸻ 📊 Metrics Being Tracked To keep this educational and transparent, we’re logging: • PPFD (currently 500) • Light height & dimmer percentage • Temperature / humidity / VPD • EC, pH, water temp • Feeding amounts & intervals • Growth progression, morphology, and structure • Differences between the official GD plants and the siblings ⸻ 💬 Final Thoughts Week 1 sets the foundation for an exciting 12/12 run with LSD from Zamnesia. This method is unconventional — but extremely rewarding when executed properly. And with: • High-quality genetics • Plagron nutrients • Professional-grade light from Future of Grow • Clean germination support from Cannakan • And an active, engaged community …this project becomes more than a grow. It becomes a shared learning experience. Thank you to everyone following, supporting, questioning, watching, and sending energy. You make this journey meaningful. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6000 (for now A6700 will be doing all future updates) paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. To keep the documentation complete and transparent, those images are now being uploaded together with the rest of this week’s photos. Thank you for understanding and for continuing to follow the journey so closely.

Day 70 This plant is doing amazing! Buds are fattening up nicely, covered in trichomes, and giving off a strong, sweet aroma. The flowers are dense but still showing good airflow between the sites, so no signs of mold or bud rot. Leaves are a healthy green, with just a bit of fading on the lowers – perfect for this stage of bloom. Pistils are starting to turn orange, and trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few clear ones left. Looks like harvest will be right on schedule. Environment is stable: Temperature: 24–26°C (lights on) / 20–21°C (lights off) Humidity: 55-65% Fans are running strong, keeping everything in motion Compared to the other plant, this one is problem-free and really showing its potential. If it keeps going like this, I expect a heavy yield with very resinous buds.

Day 71 - Starting week 11 off with a bang and love the look and smell of this girl. She’s really starting to fatten up and and need her to start filling in more. Thinking about 2-3 weeks max before she’s ready to chop and looking forward to it. Gave her the first of her week 11 feedings today and might cut her off to just water starting week 12. Day 72 - No big changes or updates. She’s fattening up and filling in beautifully. Will most likely start flushing after the end of this week. Day 73 - Gave her a second feeding today and next one will be Saturday. All is looking great and thinking she’s in track to be chopped at the end of week 13 but will keep and eye on her. Still some clear trichs but a lot of milky in there. She looks gorgeous! Day 75 - Looks great and on track for a chop at the end of week 13. Gave her the last feeding today and will water with straight water and Sledgehammer from here on out to start flushing her out. Day 76 - Closing in on the end of week 11 and she’s just as pretty as ever. Gave her some water today as she seemed to be screaming for it. Will probably do one more week of feedings then flush her with sledgehammer during week 13 and she should be ready for chopping. Day 77 - Ending week 11 and looks great. Have a few leaves showing deficiencies but not sure if it’s because she’s coming to the end of her life or somethings missing. Runoff pH was a little high so worked to correct that today, we’ll see if that helps. If not, she’s only got 2 weeks left.

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.
