The increased CO2 allows plants to thrive at higher temperatures, which in turn necessitates higher humidity to maintain the ideal VPD for healthy growth and transpiration. 80F -5F = 75F LST with 70% RH = 0.72 kPa. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, and then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, results in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow more slowly to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. As you can see, our macro lens arrived, we were able to take several photos and see the trichomes, we had never seen them so close before. We also noticed that many pistils have turned brown in the last days of this week but the trichomes are clear yet. The smell is getting stronger, reminds us of fresh fruits, mango and a little citrus. We are excited, she is healthy and smells good, but a little concerned with the development of buds and if they are within the standards for this week. Despite having many trichomes and the pistils turning brown, we are not noticing a significant fattening of the flowers (correct us if we are wrong). hahaha, noob stuff =)

Como podemos ver ya todas están para el corte o casi, en algunas tendré que seleccionar el pheno, ya que hay alguna que me gusto más que la otra, en general un terpeno muy diferente en cada variedad y también la calidad de la resina, en general mucha resina, pero por ejemplo he podido observas que los tricomas de la Gorilla Melon son más grandes y se oxidan de una manera más lenta, ideal para hacer extracciones, en cambio, la Reinbow Melon .... ese terpeno dulce intenso tanto que es hasta abrumador...me muero de ganas ya de probarla... la Lemon Mandarín es exagerado el olor que tiene a mandarina si cierras los ojos y ueles fuere parece que te vayas a comer una buena mandarina y la Paya Sherbet tiene un olor dulce y muy agradable, pero nada que aún pueda relacionad del todo..... un saludo y buenos humos fam.

Yay... NorCal Cannabis Cup today & tomorrow up in Santa Rosa. Gonna load my bud buddy in the car and head up there this afternoon for the Phil Lesh show. One day is enough. 😎 It's only the 2nd ever licensed cannabis consumption event in California ... so come be part of history if you live anywhere in northern California. ------ The Durban girls are doing quite nicely. Leaving them out in the sun for 30 minutes today to do a little acclimating before I head up north. It's HOT today by recent standards but the wind is light. Three of the 5 gallon girls will be moved outside permanently in about a week. The 3 gallon container and the (former) runt in a 5 gallon pot will grow inside this summer.... and we'll probably flip the lights to flowering as soon as everybody gets moved outdoors. ------ For heights this week we have the 5 gallon girls are two at 19", and one at 18.5". The 3 gallon girl is at 15", and the former runt is up to 9". Fed all the girls today because I won't be home early from the show tonight to feed them then. ------ Updated to add some photos from the Cannabis Cup in Santa Rosa. It was a LOT harder to consume alcohol at this event than ANY form of cannabis. Big fun.

Starting to sugar up a bit 😁, very slight tip burn so calmag'd with 10ml in 6L each, then gave it a good water and this is the day after next fert. They got 10ml of big bud, bud candy, and bud factor x each.

Hola !! Time too try new toys 😃 Building my first dripping system EVER And would running :runner: 16 O.G Kush from ZenSeeds. in 11L pots with Plagron LightMix and 20% perlite. Here's some pictures from the DIY and testing, and today 25-3 they all coming up, so I count this at day 1 Hope it's okay 👌🏼 all the way too the ending.... but I'm not sure 🤔 u know first time practice

📆 Semana 7 La Swag MDC sigue sorprendiendo con su personalidad fuera de lo común. Los cogollos han pegado un buen salto esta semana: más densos, más definidos y con una cobertura de tricomas que empieza a ser seria. Pero lo que realmente la distingue sigue siendo su morpho swag, esas hojas anómalas que ahora también brillan con resina, aportando una estética muy particular al conjunto. El plan nutricional con XpertNutrients se mantiene, ajustado con precisión para evitar excesos. La planta sigue respondiendo sin quejarse, asimilando bien y mostrando una evolución saludable. Los riegos están afinados al detalle, permitiendo una buena oxigenación del sustrato y evitando encharcamientos innecesarios. La luz de los Adlite continúa haciendo un trabajo excelente. Gracias a su estructura abierta, esta Swag está recibiendo luz incluso en las zonas más profundas, lo que se traduce en un desarrollo parejo y en cogollos internos que no se quedan atrás. El clima del cultivo sigue estable: temperaturas entre 22 y 25 °C, con humedad controlada cerca del 55%. El flujo de aire es constante, y no hay rastro de hongos ni otros problemas derivados del ambiente. En lo aromático, se empieza a notar una mezcla cada vez más interesante: una base frutal con notas herbales que se va volviendo más compleja con cada día. Los tricomas ya cubren la mayoría de las superficies y siguen mayormente lechosos, sin señales claras de madurez total aún. Una planta muy curiosa, distinta en todos los sentidos. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

The bud are dense and covered in trichomes. Very tasteful in vape (Utilian 722). It taste like creamy berry. The buzz start with a head rush to finish with a body buzz. Sometimes the head rush is a bit to much. I don't know if it's because of this pheno or the genetic or due to a bad flush. Overall I'm very satisfied with my first harvest and I will keep the Glue Gelato to smoke it.

Hey..next week the plant get the 35liter pot with same mix as the start pot...i add little helper seeds in the big pot to prevent some things like bugs and dry out to much from wind and sun....hope the sun gets brighter the next time...but for this hard conditions i would say..nice start. thanks ..... 4/25: It was extremely cold tonight, so I took the opportunity and took this time lapse shot over 3 hours... after 1 hour I added a drop of remaining osmosis water... and lo and behold, ten minutes later Calimero laid down his eggshell ... .now we can get started and I have that great shot that I've always wanted to take...sorry for the outside interruption, I couldn't miss it....in the evining after my work i kick her as instant out.....

Overall, I enjoyed this growing experience. To obtain such a Supreme product within 80 days is just amazing! I also enjoyed the ability to keep a running Diary, complete with photos for each week.
