06/16/2019 Star Cookies has her own tent back,and good thing because she is spreading out and reaching for the sky! I can only hope she is done with the stretch and ready to fill out, otherwise I'll have to raise the tents top somehow.

Papaya cookies are incredible! All the pistils turn purple, incredible beauty of this plant. We are so happy to have caught this extraordinary phenotype and are looking forward to an early harvest in about 2 weeks time.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. This week was great the smell is very pungent, I've been giving the CO2 lights are (I believe) adequate over 200 true watts on 2 plants started with purpinator as well as adjusting the ph and dropping the temperature. And the added spectrum. Try to get to the Anthocyanins and adjust my colors

The plant is monster even though I topper at the 6th node she is 51in tall and smell nice fantastic but requires support the plant grows very tall even before having lots of weight in the buds it requires support . today I brought them outside the tent to give them a good water down in order to drain out any excessive buildup in the soil. Week 10 - flush has been going for a few days now. Buds are looking snowy, the smell is gorgeous. Some of the leaves are showing a deep purple colour which is common in this strain. She's gonna look great when she's finished. Most of the leaves are showing nutes burn from me being over exuberant in the last Week with the nutes (should've stuck to the plan). After a bit of a chat with a fellow grower who has convinced me that my plant is not ready yet I've decided to keep feeding her for another week or so just hope I haven't ruined her by not feeding for a week. Day 69 and pulled her out of the tent for a bit of a tidy up and she looks amazing. She looks far better in her full glory than his in a tent. I'm very pleased with my first grow, made a few mistakes along the way, but she's looking better than I would of imagined.

So frosty and starting to swell, amazing smells hard to describe. Pleasure to grow and very resilient so far compared to other strains I've grown.. holiday harvest 2023!

Nearly ready for

The Wonder Pie were showing signs of deficiencies so I added 2ml/L of liquid worm castings to see if it helps, also top-dressed diatomaceous earth to help get rid of the fungus gnats. Will top dress the powdered nutrients again in 1-2 weeks. Also foliar sprayed them with Sugar Candy Syrup to help with the deficiencies. I'll go with bigger plants next time because I think I won't get much from these smaller plants. Other than that, just waiting for them to do their thing and hopefully harvest in 5 weeks or so.

I am literally delighted with this strain. We know it is a classic usa strain par excellence, and for sure Fastbuds had access to a super clone to create it but it is really top. I have grown some Californian fem OGs in the past and it looks a lot like us, in a small way, of course, but the shape of the flowers and the particular way of distributing the hair make it unique.
