We’re deep into Week 8, and Blue Banana Cream is stacking up beautifully. Trichomes are looking frosty, covering the buds in a thick, sticky layer—definitely a strain that’s going to shine post-cure. The aroma has intensified compared to earlier weeks, now pushing out a stronger creamy, fruity scent with a slight gas undertone. Every time I open the tent, it hits harder. The buds are swelling up nicely, transitioning from airy to more mid-compact density. Pistils are still mostly white, meaning it’s got a bit more time before it fully ripens. One thing I’ve noticed—the branches are starting to lean from the weight, so some light support might be needed to prevent them from bending too much in the final stretch. I’m keeping temps at 18-20°C and humidity around 55-60% to ensure a proper finish. With harvest around the corner, it’s just about watching those trichomes shift from clear to cloudy/amber and letting this one reach its peak.

Good News everyone ! after a week in 12/12 cycle they still feel happy ( no more yellow leafs ! ) They are thirsty AF ( i added 16L this week ) and it's only the beginning :x ... Stretch phase has begun, i saw them growing visibly day after day, i made a small timelapse for you, tell me which one you prefer. pH i pretty stable now, EC is between 1.8 and 1.9 and don't fluctuate so everything is ok. the only thing that worries me is roots progression 😁 i can see some roots approaching the water pump in front of the tank 😂 ==> i'm gonna cut you if you go too close from the pump ^^'

Day 56: Nothing special this week other then I found out another reason for the stretching of the plants. They did not stretch that much as the Gorilla's but they still did some. I don't know where i was of what i was doing but suddenly it came into my mind. Well normaly i use seperate veg and flower basic nutrients. This time, I used a new basic nutrient i never used before. This basic nutrient has veg and flower nutrients for the whole cycle. So the growth of the plants where stimulated to longer. This is fun when you grow huge plants for a long time, not if you plan to only veg for 3-4 weeks, 1-2 weeks preflower with maybe 6 to 9 weeks of flowering.

F week 7. I had nutrient lockout and ph started to swing down. I wasn't mixed my nutes right. I should have kept more break between adding the nutes and let it blend in peace.I lost some days because of that. Now everything should be under the control. The plant smells really strong. Cola nuggets are really hard but the trichomes are still mainly transparent.

Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 6 2/9-15 The Cheese gals are in full flower, the buds are puffing out and stacking. I even see some lower buds connecting to the upper buds and some pistils are turning brown. There is some smell when I open the tent. The F1 genetics are reflected in that these 2 plants are almost identical. I don’t see much difference in their growth so far using the different mediums. Soil and soil/coco blend. Maybe harvest will show a difference in yield from each one. Time will tell. On 2/13 I did major defoliation on my Cheese gals. I removed all large fan leaves and any leaves shading bud sites. Initially, I thought this would be my last defoliation, however I have heard that 1) they continue to grow new leaves until day 20 of flower and 2) there must be enough foliage on the plant to photosynthesize energy. Well, I hope I left enough leaves for energy to keep bulking up the buds. Stretching has slowed down. Both girls grew only an inch and now 17 inches. This is only the end of flower week 2. Controller is set to flower. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back. As week 8 started, buds are gaining size. Plant is drinking lots of water. About. 3/4 a gallon a day to day 1/2. Added a second light to setup now. Hoping to help the flowering buds with extra light. Relocated my fan to help circulate air flow around more of the taper colas. Should have a around 3 week a left til harvest. Can’t wait to see how this first grow turns out and what to learn from it overall at the end.

As the days passed, the substrate became compacted and it was necessary to fill the pots a little with more substrate.A week in which it was very cold and windy outside again, making it difficult to maintain a comfortable environment inside the grow tent.
