Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. I did not now the weight of how much dry or wet flower I have because I decided to freeze right away all of the flower and after 24 hours in the fridge I created bubble hash unfortunately I only took pictures of the first batch total amount 58.6 grams of bubble hash of excellent quality despite treating this plant really badly it give me a very abundant flower With incredible density

I'll change the DWCs next week, meanwhile I'm trying to keep the PH in the right range; 💧- 7° DWC change; 🍔- Flowering blend: tap water EC 0.4 + Silic 0.5 ml/l + CalMag 1 ml/l + Hydro A-B 1.8 ml/l + Oligo Spectrum 2 ml/l + Green Sensation 1 ml/l; 🌱- Things are moving forward, both are gaining weight. 🆕- Last week I got the TrolMaster TCS-1 (@TrolMaster_Europe) and I started to track my grow box data. I will add these info once I harvest!

The orange 🍊 sherbet germinated really easily,,and took off ,,,apart from my sexy fingers breaking a couple branches early on in the grow,,she recovered quickly and was still able to produce a respectable harvest of flower,,,I did enjoy growing this strain,,and I look forward to smoking some of her ,,,for sure

1 sour livers is smelling sweet and lemony other 1 smelling like a zesty liver🤔. Cant quite put my finger on the aroma coming from the northern hog but shes possibly in the best condition she ever has been.

They completed lfirst week of Flower. Decreasing Humidity gradually to increase VPD to 1.5. Heady OG turned out to be a male one so removed it :( But, the ladies seem to enjoy life and they keep stretching every day. They have doubled in size just in one week Humidity is fluctuating between 52-58%. Temp is 22-26 Celsius. VPD is relatively constant around 1.30 except for very rainy days where my dehumidifier gets info play. PPFD is around 900 uMol.

hey growmies I decided to switch to flowering, I am using ADV nutes with the dosage recommended by them and they seem to me in great shape, tonight I will do a defoliation in order to breathe better and get as much light as possible. I'll keep you up-to-date. good growth and happy day 💚🌳

Casey's Rollex OG is still trying to get to the solution. She was the last one to sprout in the room, since the first seedwas a dud. Shecshoukd take off on growth, once she finds the solution. Nothing more to report at this time. Weather is starting to get warmer finally and now we can see she start growing little bit. Nothing issues or anything just little bit worried if she start flowering like in next week cause its already 3 weeks veg to autoflower. 😊

Nothing but pure H20 💦 Buds have bulked up a little, frosty, and about 10% amber trichomes. Harvest week for sure! Stay tuned.

We're almost done with the untouched plant! I'm watching daily for the Terps to turn to my taste. So I love sativa's & hybrid's so now I'm wanting almost all of the Terps to turn red but about 15-20% so there's not too much of a heavy couch lock on it. So basically any day now! Baby #2, with the right bottom side missing is still in full flower, working on getting those buds growing. They've gotten so big where I rotate them daily to make sure we have equivalent lighting on every side of the plant. After almost losing 2 of my plants to my toddler, I got very serious. I ordered a hygrometer, so I can watch temps & humidity. A water ph tester. & a tiny humidifier, within like a 7 day period. I got everything to make sure everything was on point. Turns out this FOOP canna food is way more than what I ever imagined. I don't hardly ever have to adjust my ph turns out the FOOP comes very balanced. I now check my ph everytime I feed and water but when I used my food & mix it with water i then check my ph & every single time its spot on! I've kept my routine this whole time. Even the few days I nursed my dying babes back to health. Feeding every tuesday & friday & watering on sundays. I don't know if any of you would wonder if it seems like I'm maybe not watering enough. But autos grow at an insane rate, so giving their roots an airy dryer soil gives them maximum amount of room to grow as quickly as they want. They don't have heavy wet soil slowing them down which gives them more opportunity for growth. SO. I've got 1 plant almost finished. 1 very large plant even with a side missing is still huge, and working hard on growing some little chubby buds. Lol. And then my mini auto growing some chunky buds but not very many. Lol. Pics to come very very soon! I appreciate anyone who reads all of this! I've poured my heart into all of these plants & I hope to only keep learning & loving it!!

Day 64 - Starting week 10 today and flushed her with 2 gallons of water and 40ML of FoxFarm’s Sledgehammer. I’m hoping these last two weeks she’ll really fatten up and start her leaf fade. Went ahead and removed a couple of dead fan leaves from the bottom as well. Day 66 - Nothing much new today, she’s definitely still fattening up. Had to remove a couple more dying leaves but all good other than that. Will give her straight pH’d water next watering and then will do one more flush with the Sledgehammer after that. Day 67 - Nothing much new today, gonna end up needing some water tomorrow. She’s still plumping up nicely and smells amazing. Day 68 - Gave her 2 gallons of plain pH’d water today to try and get all the nutes out so she’ll start eating from her leaves. Looking at the trichs, I’m looking at a chop happening next weekend. Day 69 - She definitely swelled up quite a bit over the last 24 hours. She looks to still be on track for getting chopped this weekend. I’ll give her a bit more water and sledgehammer in a day or two and then let her dry out till chop day. Might try putting her in complete darkness for 24-48, just to see if I notice any difference in her. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and everything is still on track to be chopped no later than this weekend. I don’t really see any clear trichs in there and starting to get some amber. Will probably give her one last flush tomorrow and let her go until the weekend.
