She’s showing her vigor now exploding all these flowers! both plants are showing no bad signs or stress so I’m happy they’re happy! I’ll plan to Defoliate again in 4 weeks then closer to harvest! Wish me luck gromies!

ladies are doing fabulous!! growing incredibly fast. loving the cob light. ww/bb you can literally watch grow every day. the white widow didn't like that I took a few fan leaves I took off, seemed to make her grow a tad slower. the ww/bb with the 3 axillary buds grew out perfect and the bottom node grew just right to get even, and make a nice flat canopy. same with the king tut. on crazy anomaly was one branch on the ww/bb has 5 auxiliary buds! never seen or heard that before. trying to decide If i should top there too. check out the video to see it better thanks for following any tips please lmk!!

(Days 21-28) (Day 23) I like the amount of stretch I’m seeing on practically all the plants. I'm going to lower the light at the end of the week to stop the stretch. The more stretch they get in veg the less I have to lollipop or prune down the road. Makes lst easier too. I’m going to try topping this week. Last time I topped at the 7-10th nodes and didn’t get the best horizontal growth. This round I’m ready to give everything 3 or more toppings, stay on top of training and defoliate much less. This soil looks insane. I should have added a thicker layer of oats because it’s starting to look proper. (Day 24) Got my stuff from the hydro store today and amended my soil again. Next visit I will be grabbing a P booster like bat guano before I enter flower. Today, I got the 2gal pots, some primo worm castings, 5-2-4 insect frass, 0-0-22 langbenite, 1-0-3 alfalfa meal and an exhale co2 bag. Guy at the store said it gets his 4x4 tent 1000ppm+. It takes a few weeks at least for it to start putting out any amount of co2. I got the room sealed and two fans bowing. I fed a compost tea with a little bit of each dry amendment, BSO dry compost, boogie brew base and worm castings aerated for 24h. I diluted it to about 850ppm which still might be a little high. (Day 25) Opened a bottle of EM1 that was improperly stored and it exploded all over me and part of the tent. I wiped off the plants but there is still specks here and there. Cleaned it off and sprayed with method1 pps. (Day 26) Topped 9/15 plants. Will do the rest next week once I see a little more growth. 5 of the bbb’s I started 6 days after everything else so they are still quite behind. I’m going to push the transplant another few days until they recover. Going to start lst after transplant. (Day 28) Transplanting into 1.6gal pots that I thought were 2gals tonight... Depending on how many females I get, they will be going into either 3, 7 or 10 gallon fabric pots. Growth is looking solid so far, zkittlez and the 3 WW’s are leading the pack in terms of growth speed and cotes are yellowing out. I’m pretty sure what I have is a zkittlez bagseed but there is also a strong chance it could have been from some shitty Canadian biker weed. I accidentally misplaced the seed so it’s possible it got mixed up and I germinated the wrong one. Judging by the rapid growth I’d say that’s a fair bet. Biker weed is notoriously fast growing. Either way it won’t be hard to tell once they’re in flower. The white widow is probably going to be a breeze. I’ve heard that’s why it’s so popular too. It’s just a hardy rookie strain with good resistance, decent quality and above average yield. A sure investment. The blackberries are lagging behind but I’m sure they will blow the others away in terms of quality. One of the tunas looks great and the other is a stubby runt. The stubby runt I currently have in flower is killing it right now so I’m not writing it off yet. Can’t wait to see if the tuna god produces some nostalgic smells. Tuna strains are still super popular on the Canadian black market. I plucked the first set of leaves that were starting to appear on each plant. These branches almost always turn to larf and they're so small I can't that stressing the plants out at all this early. If anything, the zkittlez and white widows need to slow down a bit anyway. I’ve been doing a shit ton of research over the past year into what causes weed and cigarettes to have black ashes/poor fire holding capacity. Smoking black weed drives me crazy because it’s all the legal and black market have nowadays. The cigar industry has numerous studies on the cause of ash color and burn rate and apparently it has to do with the ratio of mineral content in the soil/water. Soil/water that is high in phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and other heavy metals will burn poorly and reduce to flaky black ashes. Whereas soil that has higher levels of potassium and calcium carbonate have thick uniform white ashes with no streaks. Calcium carbonate (wood ash, biochar) can also prevent heavy metals in the soil making them unavailable to the plant. I’m discontinuing my “Organic cal mag” as it is full of chlorine which I did not realize when buying it. I’m going to be pretty cheesed if that stuff ruined the burn of my current flowering crop. My dog also found and destroyed my Alaskan fish fertilizer so that’s being discontinued for now too.

Well the buds are starting to join together. She smells insane and is pure resin. Not much meat on here she is a skinny plant with very nice colours.

~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. These girls are staying happy yes they are!! Put them into 1 gallon on Saturday now they have slowed back to there water/ feedings every 3 days. Will let them get used to there new home and will top them before to long to make them bush out! Still just steady marching here. Much love

Top dressed Asman and Asal with a tablespoon of Dr. Earth Bloom and 3 tbs of worm castings. Added terpinator, microbials and molasses to calmag'd water. Benesh got fed last week with the same load/mix and is doing great. No defoliation or much training early this week. Did some heavier defoliation on Sunday to give more of the bigger and higher buds space. Will make a TCHA tincture off of the defoliated buds, which I will add to later. Lovely mint and chocolate aromas on my fingers after the defoliation.

First of all thanks to the SSSC for this opportunity, this is going to be a test grow fot the club but also a pheno hunt at the same time! We started to germinate 8 regular seeds for this first diary the 21st of august, next couple of days i will update the germination ratio! And after that the week 1 starts hopefully we get a reasonable amount of females here!

For the last month, I've been dealing with severe back issues. Not gonna lie, but it's been challenging to keep up with daily DWC chores. That aside, this particular girl also experienced ph swings, so reservoir change end of mid-week 6 flower. I also switched from Fox Farm to GH trio and supplementing with FF Chi Ching during week 5 and into week 6 w/ppm running at 800. Next bucket change, I will begin lowering ppm to 500-520 range. I'll continue bringing ppm down right up until flush. She's finishing nice, given what little I've been able to do physically. Ganja Farmer Seed genetics, so happy with first run using this breeders gear and happy w/results so far being this is my first attempt at DWC. Another rough week. Thought I got aphids but now as I'm posting this after some more research it looks like I may actually have Neoseilulus fallacis. I only sprayed them down with water and got lady bugs. Been sick the last week as well so I cant really smell whats going on. Been having a hard time keeping the humidity below 60% at night but i finally found a budget dehumidifier that works okay
