August 10-15th Flowers were popping and the tent looked happy and healthy

8/30 - Day 65: All is great. Plant 1 will be harvested very soon, I'm thinking September 6th or 13th... all depends on the trichome development. I have come across a wicked calcium deficiency that I am solving with foiler spray and a little more supplemented in the nute mix, but I don't quite understand what's happening. I will post a question and update with information. I read it takes about a week to fix, so I'm not to worried about it ruining my harvest, it just sucks and I want to fix it. 8/3 - Day 69: Fuck... man... it's CRAZY how much they change overnight at this stage. We are flushing plant 1 (center plant in photos) Sunday, and we will harvest her September 13th, at the latest. I check her trichomes everyday and they are still not milky — so we wait! Colors are beautiful, bright orange and a wonderful violet purple. The sugar is just piling itself on. Smell is average, but if you bump them, or trim a leaf... it gets much, much more potent. The buds are sticky as literal superglue. I cannot wait to smoke. We have been fighting a small CalMag deficiency the past 8 days, but I think we are out of it. Typically takes 6-8 days to see any sort of relief from this, and I haven't seen it spread to a few of the older colas, so that's good! I'll get some more micro shots later this week. Harvest scheduled for September 13th. Flush starts tomorrow - 9/6. Fuck. Yes.

And here we are at our Zamnesia harvests, Northern Lights 1 - Born on 01.09.2024 - Harvested on 14.11.2024 precisely ten weeks and 4 days of life on this earth. ATTENTION - The other plant was harvested and documented in the previous week, for convenience and to better distinguish them at harvest time I divide them for you. Even though we are growers in our small intensive it is always a little displeasure to prune these masterpieces of nature and cannabis breeding but on the other hand the purpose for which it produced these buds full of resin is noble and if it remained there for a long time it would not come to a good end, so without further ado it is harvested. We evaluated the harvest because the flowers seemed to have been ripe for a while, very mature pistils, rock flowers that seemed ready for about a week but I still flushed for the best possible result in terms of organoleptic cleanliness of the flower. Pistils ripe at 80-90% and trichomes mostly clody, quite a bit amber and in the violet shades of the leaves reddish and violet gorgeous, really a beautiful show of trichomes. The scent is truly wonderful at the time of harvest I could not distinguish it well then slowly something sweet and fruity mixed with spicy came out a mix that always intoxicates me. The results in terms of quantity are not bad at all we will be around 30-40 the first one already harvested and 50-60 this one. We are very happy to be on Zamnesia's side and to show you what work they are doing with breeding. Ivamba little worried about how close she is to the light, but my light is as high as it can go and my plant is as low as it can go so, if anyone has any suggestions let me know. Week 4! We're very close of flower now! This is what happened in this week: - I did some LST! 😁 - I increased the amount of nutrients and it seems they like it! - The plant on the front is growing more than the one on the back. - Some weird marks appeared in one of the biggest fan leaves from the girl on the back. What could that be? My girls need more water too as I've have not been watering them enough and I believe they might get root-bound because of that. Next week that issue will be fixed and hopefully that will allow them to grow some stronger roots! I also thought about trimming my girls, specially the one in the front but I don't think they are developing as fast as I'd like them to be so I'll hold down for now. I'd rather tuck some leaves around instead of stressing my girls way too much and get some bad results 😖 Anyway, that's all for now and thanks for reading! See you all next week! 😃

I will be starting the flush a week earlier then I expected these girls are clouding up super fast. The Jack Herer will need another 2 week at the least. But the Tangie and Durban Poison will for sure be done sooner.

12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season.

2/4: Photo session day! Both of these girls do seem to be mostly sativa, as billed. The have a very pungent aroma..not quite normal. I removed most of the lower fan leaves. I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today with about 3/4 gallon each and sprayed them down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time this run. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls aren't stretching much, but continue to spend energy on their lower branches. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom today. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's warmer than 72f outside, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.

11/15 Coming along but not without problems. 3+ weeks in now I'm in the stage where I'm just trying to push all the right buttons and guide it to harvest. They've all demonstrated some level stress but bud formation is coming along well. I dont know if I'm just used to the smell but it hasn't really gotten much stronger. I'll try to take some more pics later on. The past week has been a little busy.

Oct 30 - Milky and clear Trichomes on mature plant, I suspect she's very close to harvest. The other plant is a little behind, with mainly Clear and Cloudy Trichomes. Continued to defoliate dead leaves as they're found. Senescence is starting to resume with colder temps. Oct 30 - Watered Mature plant at 7.30PM. Checked Trichomes, they seem pretty close. However some calyx' aren't pumping in volume + Stigma/Pistil colour whilst others are full with brown / orange coverage 50%. Oct 31 - Defoliated and Watered younger plant at 9PM. Nov 1 - Watered mature plant at Noon, purple starting to present on more colas. Nov 2 - Watered younger plant at 10AM. Trichomes on younger plant are mainly clear with one or two amber on calyx. Nov 3 - 8AM Watered mature plant, checked trichomes - more amber appearing in calyx - although clear trichomes still very present. Day 83, I suspect Day 90 will be chop day. I'll put both plants in 50 hours darkness on Day 87. She's Oily, when defoliating, My knuckles were slimy. Nov 4 - Amber Trichomes definitely present on calyx' Lower budsites are slightly behind, I might be chopping earlier - In fact, I'll put them in 48 hours of darkness starting tonight. If the younger plant is not ready, which I suspect the case - I'll resume regular lighting for another week or two. Nov 5 - After getting feedback, I'm surprised to see I have another 2 weeks. The purple plant is definitely putting on size. I suspect the weight of buds will be too much to stand freely.
