Saskatoon Berry has been a very nice surprise. Two of the 3 plants look to be very productive and the smells are completely different. Over all very pleased so far.

15.5.25: It's been 48 hours after planting, and we have 2 extraordinarily identical seedlings! 🌱🌱 This time germinating, I did not use the humidity domes or spay the leaves. I adjusted the dehumidifier to around 50% RH. TEMP: 26°C. Soil PH: 7.0 Soil temp: 20°C Water PH: 6.0 Water about 20mls 3x a day. I used plain, dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. I'm very excited to see how we go! 🌱🤞💚✌️🍃😊 18.5.25: The seedling 🌱 is looking nice and strong. Yesterday, I started watering around the perimeter of the pot to help the ecosystem of the soil get started. I'm watering with plain, dechlorinated, PH'd water. PPM: 545 PH: 6.0-6.5 The F1 Hybrid experiment has thus far produced identical results. The experiment compares two different styles of growing; one using Organic Dry Amendments the whole way through seed to harvest. The other plant, seed to harvest, will be receiving Liquid Nutrients. Nothing has realy happened since I cropped the royal cream....It is just hanging. Decided to do a dry trim so that it takes longer to dry due to the fact I am having to just use my cupboard so the humidity is pretty low. Leaving the leaves on just means It takes longer to dry. I am going to crop the Easy Bud in the next few days when the mood takes me. I had 4 left over R. Cream seeds left over because I informed them that. bought 2x 3 packs and only 2 seeds germinated so they sent me another packet which is REALLY good of them and the sort of thing that means I would definitely use Royal Queen Seeds again, for sure! The trich's are basically all cloudy with a few clear. I cant see any amber but my loupe is a ridiculously cheap Chinese piece of crap. I will invest in a microscope camera so I can hook it up to my phone or MacBook. It is way too hard to keep everything steady In order to see what is popping with my sexy trichomes. Obviously feeding has stopped for about a week now. I forgot to change it In the diary last week so will try and correct that now.. I know it is not strictly relevant but I had to go somewhere earlier and took a video because I was able o walk in the middle of a main road in my town which Is usually packed full of cars, especially at the time I was walking on it. It is a time that makes me even more glad I grow my own. I really need to buy the bigger tent, lights and re-locate to the bigger, more subtle cupboard (not the one i am using to dry my weed in the video I posted) and then I will be able to effectively ScrOG the 2 or 3 plants I have, in order to maximise yield so I can be totally self sufficient with regards to my cannabis medicine. UPDATE - MONDAY I just realised I have made a proper idiots mistake an missed out on some much tastier buds because of it. OK, so I got paid today, so I though I would treat myself to some of them cheap COB chips I used for my last grow because hey were super cheap and actually really effective considering the price. I ordered 2x 100w 6000k veg spectrum chips with a solderless connection for my power. I also ordered one of these heatsink + reflector. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MT824NP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My thinking was that I have a spare heatsink here that the old citizen CLU-048 is attached to so I was going to fit one of the chips into that and the other into the heatsink and fan I bought. This hought process lead me to go ad retrieve the old citizen LED and I thought I would try it. Still didn't work, then suddenly I thought it could be a simple blown fuse so I changed it aaaannnnd.....still doesn't work. doh! I started to remove the COB holder and COB from the heatsink (it was just glued to it using thermal compound) and when I laid it on the table I decided to test the driver without the COB holder on the tiny off chance it might work...nope I then realised maybe I got the + and - the wrong way round, tried again and boom works perfectly. The connection from the holder to the cob had bent slightly off contact. Really annoying that this whole time I could have doubled my photons to the plant, however, really nice that I don't have to spend a load more money on lighting in order to upgrade into the new room. So all I have to do now is spend money on a pre-drilled heatsink and a new metal COB holder for the citizen.

The ladies are opening up nicely after 48hs of planted (2 days) as normal, the pheno #1 has opened first let's see how they keep developing!

We got day 15 of Flower as per say.. We got little deficiency as these girls are going to eat alot of food... probably first time I got such hungry girls I'm down 2 Bottles of cal mag allready. The structure is nice and bushy, We got some very good stretch and the height is just the way i like it i will do topping like this to all my plants in future i think, unless no time I'll just LST... so far the smell is getting stronger by the week. I'm feeding 10ml of a and b bloom to 5L of water at this point because I'm seeing deficiencies so I'll bump that

Starting to smell very dank and musky, will start to lower nutrients next week and start ghe ripen. Lots of nice colors coming though as result of changing to LED . Had a humidity problem where it was about 80% I got a 2l dehumidifier on and has somewhat cured the issue , humidity is now as 45-50%

It was fun growing Critical+ 2.0 and really recommend it for any new grower who would love to experience his first smoke from his personal garden

VEG WEEK 10 My Base Nutrient Inputs: See VEG WEEK 6 for details of stock solutions A & B. My grow weeks run from Monday to Sunday. This week the goal was to let the girls grow, space the tops around the trellis, and attach each stem to the outside of this structure. Tuesday - Watering Day - 1 gallon each as described above. Friday - Watering Day - The pots are very light. Laverne is quite thirsty in pic # 10 - 2 gallons each as described above. Friday - Pruning Day - Pinched out all the new grow at each fan leaf. The goal is a single stalk with no side branching. Also removed some lower Fan leaves and a few select others. Unfortunately, Laverne lost a top. Not sure how, but I snapped it😡, and it dangled by a little of the outer stem tissue. I quickly reached for some tape to administer first-aid, which has worked for me in the past. Sadly, a few days later, it was evident (pic # 16), she wasn't going to make it. Sunday - Training and Trim Day - Laverne is now down to 11 tops and my plants symmetry is shattered. I pushed the broken limb aside, to make room to realign the neighboring branches. I'm leaving this broken branch on the plant for now (pic #17), in an attempt to keep the other branch, on the same main stalk from dominating the plant. The remaining branch (pic #18&19) is already growing much faster and needed some serious twisting to bring it to the level of the rest of the plant. I managed to get Laverne symmetrical again, and leveled out the tops with some wire work. Shirley was also wired down to a symmetrical, level canopy, without any drama. Laverne is now 10 inches tall, and Shirley is 12 inches. It seems I named them backwards, lol. Laverne received a 2 inch booster seat under her pot to bring her canopy level with her buddy. Their canopy tops are 30 inches from the Electric Sky ES 300 V1 light. Shirley has shown herself to be a female (pic #24), while Laverne has not shown sex (no concern, as these seeds I made should be feminized). I see some tip burn, and need to dial back my nutrients a tad. I also am working on eliminating the purple on the top side of the petioles (not too worried about it as the plant is growing and appears healthy otherwise). My base nutrients contain calcium and magnesium, plus I add Cal-Mag +, so not sure why. It is funny that the purple is only on the top side of the petioles, and makes me wonder if this is caused somehow by LED lighting. If anyone knows, please share😀. I plan on another week, maybe two, of vegetative growth. The mother(s), that I made these seeds from only stretched about 12-14 inches. I'll flip to 12/12 light schedule when the stems reach the height of the top of the trellis. With the stems supported, and some luck, these girls, will be set-up for smooth flowering.
