As the plants are ripening and getting closer to harvest, I'm continuing to lower ppm levels while managing bucket water levels and ph. We're exactly at day 56 of flower (5/5/23) on Cinco de Mayo. The PBCRbx reflects a flowering time of 60-63 days, so no more nutrients at this point. I'll continue to monitor Trichomes through next week (i.e., week 9 of flower). Once I see more amber (approximately 20-25%), I will begin a 2-3 day flush with straight RO water. At that point, she is ready to come down. The last bucket change between week 7 and week 8 strictly followed GH's recommended dosage. That bucket change out brought an end to the ph swings she was beginning to experience. After the change out, the balance between water consumption, nutrient uptake, and ph is spot on. Specifically, while plant is up taking water, ph and ppm have maintained stability. She's looking and smelling incredible. Man those ETHOS beans are the bomb. There is a learning curve with DWC - no lie - but I've enjoyed the experience. That said, and if I had dialed her in from the start, she would have produced even better. Gratitude and thanks to ETHOS!

Going into week 2 with extreme excitement. Made some changes to my custom grow tent (Camping closet lol). Added better circulation (14cm) computer fan to bring in the fresher air & provide more circulation as the plants were experiencing some canoeing at a stage. Girls now growing really well. Increased nutrient feed from "first true leaves" to "Grow" according to Flora Coco chart.

The two surviving Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants develop well after they were planted in soil. The first pot is very small (0,25 l) and only a little watering is necessary now. As you can see in the pics the roots grow VERY WELL with the Voodoo Juice from Advanced Nutrients.

She seems to be slowing down in growth but starting to notice little white hairs growing so at least shes starting to flower. Idk how much longer it’ll be but hopefully soon lol

Welcome to Week 10! We're just a few short hours away from My Freeman's 🎂 birthday. Again, the person 👨‍🏫🏾 Freeman, not the plant. This entire grow has been a complete secret and he has no idea I've been growing. This is pretty awesome! Kaiydaan is still miles behind "Freeman", however, her calyxes are starting to slowly swell and the Stigmas are growing back exponentially by the day. Freeman was the last girl to pop and the 2nd to 🌹 flower, so I'm much impressed with her growth. "J" is still vegging out and is going to be part of a new series, "The Desk Diaries." There is no aroma to note, yet when you caress her buds or leaves, she gives off a pine/citrus bouquet.. August 5, 2021, Thursday. HAPPY 🎂 BIRTHDAY, FREEMAN! August 6, 2021, Friday. Freeman was quite surprised, he had no idea about the grows. Watered the ladies thoroughly. August 7, 2021, Saturday. No news to report. August 8, 2021, Sunday. No news. August 9, 2021, Monday. Today was my grandmother's 92nd birthday. August 10, 2021, Tuesday. Nothing new to report.

Welcome to the beginning of week 7 for Karen. Thank you for stopping by! I'm counting this as the first week of flowering but she's been sending out pistils for two weeks, so I guess that weeks four and five should have been flowering weeks. Sorry about that. Surprised to be here but excited to see the next few weeks. Day 44: This girl is amazing. She took the horrendous start I gave her for the first three weeks, and just exploded. Look at her now! If you are really interested, now look at Misty and Nesia - imagine what they could do! I am really pleased with Karen here, I think she has more surprises in store. I am very glad I decided to LST or she would be towering above everything else in the tent. I have noted early Mg deficiency, as more advanced on Nesia. Correcting with foliar and re-addition of CalMag to feed. Day 44.5: Fertigated approx 1.5l. Defoliated approx 10 leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Day 46: Fertigated 2l. Karen is very thirsty. Her roots have breached the side walls at the bottom of the pot in 360 degrees... this is the biggest root system I've had on any potted plant to date. She is stretching fast now, I think by the end of next week she will be done stretching. I must get a photo of her stem. The base is ridiculously thick. Overall Karen is shockingly good compared to expectations from the poor start. I can only imagine how big she would be. She is currently 27cm tall and at least 50cm in diameter. I count at least a dozen colas. Day 47. She is now 29cm tall and pistils are bursting forth at a phrenetic pace. I have added a comparison shot of my grow space for size reference. Day 47.5: Defoliated approx 30 fan leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Rearranged tent and cleaned floor. I have ordered some risers to raise the pots off the floor, this will make it easier to deal with run off. While I was inspecting Karen I had a good look at her roots. The fabric pot she is in has viewing flaps (they were designed for potatoes) and I had a look... every bit of the pot is full of roots, and they're all properly pruned. I see no circulation or binding. If Karen produces at anywhere near the rate she is supposed to then she might yield as much as 150g. Day 48.5: Rapid changes. Pistils everywhere, more stretching. Karen is very thirsty. Fertigated. Added pot risers and adjusted pot. Did a little LST to separate some bunched colas a bit. Had a really good inspect of the root system. Wow this plant is a beast. Day 48.75: Fertigated 3l Day 49: Height 34cm Diameter: 60cm. End of week summary. Really big week, she is stretching quicker and quicker. Today she has developed a striking scent. I will now have to keep the tent closed so temps will rise. Day 49.5: Removed about 10 fan leaves. On reflection back over this week I think I needed to be taking a top and side photo, so I shall do that from next week.

Flowering day 3 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. STRAWBERRY PIE AUTO (FASTBUDS) WEEK 3 Started very light nutrients. I have noticed some pistils later in the week.. so likely not going to top this plant, as I have a feeling she is going to flower sooner than expected

Coming into true week 7. The girls are really impressing me. The buds are stacking nicely. The bloody skunk still hasn't flowered yet she look ready thou. The dark devil is really really showing off she's starting to get that purple color coming in. The leaves are starting to get crystals. The critical mass and ak is showing off and the quarter pounder is getting feathery. Started to feed sugar water to the girls in between feedings.

She’s looking really well, she’s not as tight on main head but side branches are looking good, manybe another week or so and she will be down, pretty happy with the growth of her just pulled side branches down a little to let more light in, happy gorilla growing 🌱
