We Have liftoff, They are officially potted! Regular soil and Perlite, going to find the sweet spot with the light, Being me Im trying a little Experiment with the pots, both fabric and 5/6 gal/25l but one taller and thinner than the rest, would be nice to see if there is any difference 😬, i've added the tiniest bit of bit of root juice just to spice things up a lil bit! Also a lil sneak peak of a Sweet seeds Dark Devil late flower 😉 lets doooo this!

Plants at the back look very green and overfed so I dropped the Ec a little, Had to defoliate again to try combat the high humidity, hoping it drops a bit, probably stunted the growth a little but hoping I didnt stress them too bad, My lights are max height so hoping they stop growing vertically, they got a little taller this week and some leaves are getting bleached.

temps got a little crazy a couple days(up to 90) but was able to keep them below 85. Realized this week I've been running an undersized exhaust fan(4" 165CFM) when I should've been running a 6". With my size room, ducting, and a carbon filter I need a minimum 260CFM. The 6" is rated at 400CFM which is more than enough. Can't believe I'm just now realizing this. Should bring temps down significantly

Harvested on day 70 (a bit early I know). 19.8 grams of dry buds. Small harvest but potent and very loud. I grew both this and the critical dwarf and both were super low yielding, although if I harvested a week or so later I would probably have gotten a 25% increase in yield weight. Regardless, I'm happy as I smoked one bowl after an 8 day dry and it got me pretty good.

Here we go on another run together and trust me, this will definitely be something different and very interesting as I've been invited to be a 'Test Grower' for Terpyz Genetics. Formerly Terpyz x Kalyseeds who, for those 'in the know', are known for their breeding of cannabis mutations and the results they've gotten. Terpyz has asked me to perform a pheno hunt on two of their new MUTANT strains; DW IBL x (Pablo Picasso | Lemon Alien NL) x Blue Booby and Z.U.P. SWAG V4 Big Purple and I'll tell you... I'm SUPER stoked to get these seeds germinated and begin to increase my knowledge of growing these mutant strains! It also had good flower structure, and excellent vigor. The only other data I could gather is that the male used was from a Opalo population which was selected in the 2nd generation, with dense flower structure and great terpenes! I'm sure this grow will add to the available knowledge of this strain! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WEEKLY UPDATE: 3/23- Week Seven of Veg and the plants, with their plastic pots, aren't losing water as greatly through evaporation as they would if they were in fabric pots. As a result my watering frequency currently is once every 3-4 days and only after checking their medium with a soil moisture probe to make sure that it is not still too wet. I did not water today and only rotated all of the pots 1/4 turn. 3/25- I checked the plants today and went ahead and watered them with .25g of straight well water that was ph'd to 74℉. They are all really taking off now and I have to tell you the DW IBL's are my favorites so far as they just look incredible! 😍 3/27- All the plants medium's were still pretty moist today so watering was skipped. I'll continue my routine of checking their medium daily via a soil moisture probe. Both strains are looking AMAZING with so many different leaf morphology's, and the variegation in a few really is cool looking! Some of the plants remind me of a pepper plant, others of Basil. They all have great vigor and color and seem to be enjoying the 225w from the HLG 225 that's hung 28" above them. The tent temperature when the light is on is staying a steady 78℉, and the RH running 50-58%. I have one 16" oscillating fan moving air and a 6" AC Infinity exhaust fan removing the heat. 3/29- Well there goes seven weeks in veg for the mutants! So far no other male plants have been identified and hopefully it will remain that way! I'm really looking forward to the next few weeks when I'll be moving a couple of plants outside to finish, the remainder indoors. In the bag ladies. HID on 600W now, Airtube on the floor, first time I do this so I just bought it. I install it, don't feel any air coming through any holes, I call the store and they give me this: "We ran out of perforated air tube, you need to poke some holes yourself, we'll refund it" 😂 I mean, what! No time to waste so I did poke holes myself but..man! In-fan was running hot obviously. Glad I caught that on time. Feeding to 1.6 EC, one shot of enzyme this week, rootjuice. first watering with Aptus Soil Attack to prevent soil critters. 15 liter bags with Biobizz All Mix (I ordered Supreme but hey...ffs) Can't go wrong with Biobizz though. This is going to be a short week probably because I want to switch to 12. Just want to have the roots settled in their new home and then B(L)OOM!

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

Raspberry Cough and Candyland are sprinting out in front of the holy punch. They both seem stronger and denser. I’ll do a second run of the holy punch next grow to see if I can get a better outcome!

Cut off feed last week. I’ll be chopping some time this week.
