Day 32: Had been using lst to get the canopy on an even level. That caused it to get pretty wide for a 2x2 tent. Started training it to grow up now since it can not get any wider. ***Update: Got a bigger tent, 4x2, doesn’t help with how wide it’s getting, but allows for a lot more room vertically, about another 1.5 feet. Also upgraded the lights and it responded rather quickly. It’s filling out and I trimmed some large lower fans leaves a couple more times to allow for air flow and new bud sites to get better light.

Last week I had decided to flower the plant as it is growing very large, here are a few notes for new growers. Always flip your plant's light schedule when the plant is at the desired height this plant is now 3 1/2 feet tall. Cannabis plants tend to double in size depending on how well they are taking care of. If you do not pay close attention to the height of your plants you will inevitably have a plant that will outgrow your tent. Here are a few notes for some growers that have not grown in h20., First you can grow your cannabis in any substrate you want, the substrates that growers put here are common that you can find all over the Internet and in some local flowering shops however, all that matters is that the roots touch the water. You can grow in the glass fish balls, you can grow in non-toxic gel balls, you can pretty much grow in any substrate you want. Second note: growing in h20 in my opinion is a lot more easier than growing in soil. Some growers will say that cannabis has a different taste in soil there is no science that concludes that the cannabis will taste any better or any less good in H2O or soil. It is all opinion. However, growing in H2O does need to be taken care of carefully. Always remember to make sure no light is getting inside the reservoir and keep the reservoir clean of all debris. It's the same concept of having a pool. If you have a pool with no debridement it will stay crystal-clear with no filtration for a very long time. However, if you get debris in a pool unwanted organisms will start to grow such as algae bacteria, and other things that you would not want to touch your body, take that concept and apply it to a cannabis plant. Hydro guard is a failsafe in case you are too lazy to keep the reservoir clean. It will prevent root slime rot and many root problems (It's beneficial bacteria similar to what is in recharge only for H2O) Lastly, Your plants if grown in hydrogen will grow rapidly more rapidly than in soil you yield will be produced faster. Also, remember the substrate is free, if you cannot purchase deionized water you can use regular tap water as long as the PPM is low, even so, you can offset the PPM as long as it's tested. You will save hundreds of dollars in soil Perlite, and other fertilizers. Some growers will state that the chemical fertilizers are bad for you, that is completely untrue and also unproven. Again NASA uses general hydroponics To grow produce in space.

These girls sprouted and then had no light for 2 and a half days, so a little leggy. Put them under 25% power LED to see how they respond will increase as needed over next few days, to 100% blue spectrum.. The genetics are either, selfed (G T H), or stray Skywalker that also selfed.. Soo a selfed GTH or sky ghost train. I think I like the possibilities.🙏 03/27/2018 Day 6, 100% blue spectrum, 25% red, perking up watered.

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * These came out pretty good, #1 was a lanky bitch and leans heavily toward my Ciroc cut but has these sweet lookin pink tips. I feel like the buds could have filled out a little more but maybe I will run it back and if they do fill out I will hit it with the MC2 pollen and make some fems. #2 is the mutant and is ridiculously frosty, usually when I have a runt it comes out decent at best but this one outdid itself. The buds actually came into shape pretty nicely, they are a little slim but the frost is insane. Some of the photos of #2 might look like I didn't take them compared to my usual photography style and that's because my girl took them, she is a little more artistic than I am but it was her first time using the new camera so some are slightly out of focus because the ISO was too low and there was a little camera shake. So sorry I wasn't able to keep up with diary been very busy with work and taking care of the kids and of course my lil babies lol had to turn the gorilla cookie to a somewhat outdoor plant but still fed daily with coco nutes and that boy is a beast prob like 3 weeks behind if that outdoors gonna decrease nutes on my indoor cuz she seems about ready can't wait super super sticky

Week 5 (11/30 - 12/6): Things are getting excitingggggggg!! I had to get some gloves because the buds are getting sticky -icky -ickyyyyy. I mean over these two weeks you wouldn't even recognize this tent. The flowers have really packed on some size and the smell is increasing by the day. It feels like we are coasting and just need to keep things watered at this point, but we have our lights up as high as they can go, so we are hoping we don't get too much more of a stretch from the plants. Next week will be our last topdress for these plants with our Gaia Green 2-8-4, and from there we will have about 4/6 more waterings with our terp tea and we will be just about done with our feeding schedule. We are considering another layer of trellis, and we had to upgrade our PH pen AGAIN.. so to all new growers, don't waist the money, get the Blue Lab from the start and take good care of it. We learned our lesson with $20. Otherwise, I don't have much to say other than stand by for some big ole harvests coming your way. Check out our before and after pics!

i started feeding them more water now, i feed them 4L water but i measured runoff at 2000+ ec i dont know if thats important the strawberry lemonade really outgrows all high levels. 2 look very healthy, the one looks like ph lockout i dont know how to fix that, i ll just look further if nothing more happens .. i will defoliate the strawberry lemonade day 14 and the healthy one at day 14 and defoliate the other one at day 21 maybe

Another good week!! I defoliated the smaller of the 2 plants mid-week... I think she is doing very fine. A small hiccup with the feed that same night. Only a few leaves are showing any sign on nutrient burn. I went ahead and fed them again today. I plan on watering them in a day or two... they were very thirsty this afternoon!! So, I definitely need to up the watering. I've still been feeding 3 quarts twice a week. Otherwise, all seems to be going well!! They are frosting up very nicely!! So exciting!! Peace!! Update for grow question: @The8thChevron thanks!!! I pulled them and will hope for the best for now. So close to the finish line. If I see more trouble brewing I will pull the plant. I don't know how to answer directly to you on the grow question.... Thanks again!!

Asyou can see, my lil'Candyshop has got alot of sugar already! But her buds are not fattening up bc she is foxtailing a bit... It was very hot this week with temp of alomst 40C without wind.. Temp is now a bit lower.. and letshope she can get some weight on her those last weex! I suspect this will be the second or last watering before chop. June 25 - 09.00PM Removed a dead leaf - I want to remove some of the dying leaves on the colas, as underside of plant has a beautiful purple hue to the leaves. June 26 - 08.45AM Trichomes are starting to turn milky, with 60/40 milky to cloudy ratio. Will water this evening as pot is getting lighter + soil isn't as moist. June 26 - 01.20PM Purple is here. I think it's time to chop tomorrow as I'm seeing more ambers. I'm noticing some bright green growth which I hope isn't the start of nanners. June 26 - 01.20PM Watered 3L. Chop tomorrow. June 27 - 00.00AM CHOPPED (Day 86). . June 27 - 00.00AM Inspected detached calyx with strange (I suspect pistil) growth. Many amber trichomes found. Strange, given colas I inspected were all cloudy with no amber, but this calyx (located at centre of plant) had plenty of amber trichomes. Perhaps this is due to recieving a higher than expected DLI at hotspot of light. . June 27 - 00.00AM Underside of Buds are underdeveloped in comparison - easily due to light blockage. I aimed not to defoliate as she entered flower, but perhaps with better LST and leaf tucking I could've produced more even yield. . June 27 - 00.00AM Trimmed Fan leaves and mostly necrotic foliage - want to avoid bud-rot at all costs, but I may have over-defoliated. . June 27 - 00.00AM Drying hanging upside down with oscilating fan above (2/10) and one beneath driving air toward a wall of the tent. There's also an extraction fan at the top of the tent. . Tent temperature was just under 70F. I've likely lost some flavour over a few hours - but now that it's in a cooler environment (with slight light leakage) - things should improve. . June 27 - 04.05PM Added portable cooling unit to intake, this should drop temperature by a degree or two hopefully. Ensured Fans weren't directly in path of buds. . July 1 - 09.00PM Branches still bend - not snap. Will trim and start cure process tomorrow. Leaves shrivelled up. . July 2 - 10.00AM Rough Trim, and placed into cure jars. 58% RH and 60% RH Probably should have harvested last night. Will maintain RH in jars via burping. Roughly 2oz (56g) of bud harvested.

Finally a sunny day in the midst of our insanely wet spring. Rain, rain and more rain, and rain in the forecast. The Japanese beetles have shown up, so I’ve made giant canna-condoms to keep the girls safe from the insatiable munchers. The girls look good, one is much smaller than the other, I call her Minnie.

Shout out to msnl for this one tho.. really wasn't sure about their shit but this batch got me believing again, overall pretty easy, had a little issue late in the game sort of my own fault this is my first time BK In Dirt in a long time and im just used to doing things a different now but an easy strain to grow with really good results.
