The plants have taken to their Earthboxes, especially #1 with the BuildASoil Light. The Earthbox with my Coots mix was the runt, plus I damaged the roots during transplant so it has an uphill battle, but I wouldn't count it out yet. It was looking droopy and with slight discoloration, but after a drench of Kashi Blend Tea (1/3 cup Kashi Blend, 1 teaspoon blackstrap molasses in 1 gallon of water for 24 hours) it perked right up. As for preventative pest management, I've kept doing foliar applications every 4 days of EM-FPE -> EM-1, next week I will incorporate the just-finished EM-5. I made a JADAM wetting agent (JWA) but I have realized even local bottled water is too mineral-heavy for it, so I will need to find a source of distilled water if I want to use it in my foliar regime. Next week I will begin doing LST to get some more tops going. At some point I plan to add a trellis, I have been busy with work but I will find the time to set up something, preferably a trellis that can move with the Earthbox to facilitate maintenance and not have them fixed in place for the entire training and flowering cycles.

This girl continued to fade out but at the end of the week the trichomes were barely cloudy. Peace! I finally defoliated a bunch of the dead leaves. Oh, and I finally pulled out the tape measure. She's 44" tall. Google it if you need a metric conversion...

Stopped feeding this week other than one watering with molasses. Needing to be watered every 3 days. Other waterings using ph'ed filtered water to 6.5 set on my air bubbler for a few hours before watering. She's very close to being ready. Another week and i think she will be perfect. Notice leaves fading end of last week and they have been getting more color throughout the week. Bud growth only happening closes to the light and much of orange hairs are white. Not a ton of amber trichomes yet which is good. Really liking how this plant is turning out. Nice loud terpene profile and fat dense frosty buds. Trimming should be pretty easy on this one which is a relief knowing how much work I have ahead of me. I think this very could be the fast version.

Bud structure defied expectations: Fewer sites but chunky indica-style nugs instead of wispy sativa candles. Already sticky to the touch with impressive frosting. Hace un día nublado (29 ºC de maxima) y NO es necesario regar Elimino la malla de sombreado de la cara sur, ya que las temperaturas son más suaves después de la canicula Día 88 (27/08) Riego con 500 ml H2O pH 6,5 Empiezan a bajar las temperaturas a 29 ºC de máxima, y se nota en la demanda de agua por parte de las plantas! Sadly Zkittlez #2 will no longer be with us. I had to make an executive decision to remove her. I really wasn't sure what was going on. I noticed that her stem were extremely soft and really sticky with a strong chemical like smell. Being that her stem were extremely soft, I could see how any buds would be able to grow. Since the other three girls were in late bloom and doing extremely well I didn't want to jeopardize their progress in late bloom. She was only a week younger than her sisters. R.I.P. Zkittlez #2

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Week 11, all the plants are doing great. Still have a few still stretching out over the rest but everyone just started stacking up lots, and lots of bud sites. Not to much to report this week, just adjusting thier nutrients for flower, other than that it's just a waiting game at this point. So far, this has been a very good strain for my first grow.

she's smaller than my other Ak48 but she strong and healthy and bent up love her flowers coming in nice I give same feeding as my fortune cookies autoflower and my ak48 autoflower fortune cookies and ak48 are 6 days apart video is of the trio when its lively out I give umm natural sunlight at night since there autoflower I give umm my led light. did I mention I'm from the Caribbean.

Day 86, she’s been in the Corner vegging. Cut off all the fan leafs so everything lower are branches.

The colas keep filling out and getting longer and smell amazing. It's been warmer and more humid outside so RH in the tent has gone up. I added a mini air purifier I wasn't using (no ozone) as an extra precaution against mildew. I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday and realized that the air purifier has a light on it so I got up and turned it off. I was worried that I'd messed with the dark cycle so I left them in darkness for an extra 2.5 hours. My cool tube fan fell off the next day, onto my plants. They look undamaged. I taped it up again and set up a safety wire like the filter and fan have. I need a better solution for next cycle. The buds are beautiful and having an even canopy is great. It's hard not thinking about the end result. The buds still look small compared to the big colas of a traditional grow shape but there's still a couple weeks left. There is some bud formation under the canopy but it's a little light. The tops of the colas are fat but short on the 7 gallon plants and taller and thinner on the 5 gallon plants. I did leave a couple offshoots on that developed in late veg/early flower. By the time I caught them, I felt they were too mature to chop and I thought they helped fill out certain areas. But those ones have fewer bud sites and tend to be just a cola on a branch that shoots straight up which is still good. I do wonder if less crowding would have given me bigger buds, but I think it has more to do with pot size. This is week 7 of flower. I switched to half strength nutes and started adding fancy molasses (18ml/gallon). I broke my pH tester and didn't replace my SCROG net until after I finally watered the next day so the canopy changed a bit. I took the opportunity to rearrange the plants a bit. Crystal formation increased a crazy amount the day after I started adding molasses. I think I'll keep adding molasses even during flush. The CBD Blue Shark has this really beautiful white glow. The pistils are very strong and white and the trichromes reflect back this silver light. The leaves are a nice semi-glossy dark green which gives great contrast. It's just a beautiful plant. The Wedding Cake has a lot more colour with lots of red hairs and some yellow tones in the pistils. The fan leaves are more prone to yellowing and death than the leaves on the CBD BS. The buds seem more structurally dense and are really working on these pyramid shapes that look like delicious orange and green snacks. The buds on the CBD Blue Shark are more symmetrical and kind of otherworldly like some kind of sea creature.

3/20/25 Changes nutrients to FinalPart. 3 plants are ready, but the one on the front left need an extra push. looking to chop them this week. Watering 4 times a day for 45-50sec each watering. Light at 90% intensity. Dehumidifier running 24/7 set to 45% RH, tent RH is ranging from 45-55%. Buds are swelling and getting bigger. The different phenos are very visible, (A) is front left, (B) x2 to the right in front and back, (C) bis left back. (B) is definitely finishing faster than the rest, I'll try to harvest them sooner when they are done. The ladies looking amazing.

1/29/24 - Beginning of week. Looked good, was planning on letting it go another week but within a day the top leaves started turning yellow all over and I started seeing amber, just a few but spread out all over the plant, so last minute decision to harvest on 1/31/24.
