Week 8 Growing gradually, healthy. All plants are enlarging; forming structures with lot of branches. Just a difference around 5/10 cm height between the 4 strains. The biggest at this point are the Break pad Breath and the Flash Back#2….the GMO x Zombie Kush is beautiful too. ?I’m questioning about a 2nd topping? Daylight 15h43 : 6h13/22h Bad weather conditions during June: rainy, cold, poor luminosity, with just a few sunny days. The greenhouse is a good solution this days: less humidity with ventilation. Plants are daily controlled for Pests or diseases . Sprayed Neem oil 1 time - mix manure: horsetail (prêle), comfrey (consoude), fern (fougère), nettle (or tie) 1 time. I suspect the presence of “leaf miner flies” around. Low feeding: just roots stimulator and enzymes. I sprayed some fish mix 1 time on all plants.

Day 69 late report this week, starting to turn milky so about another 2 weeks i think

Week Eight Impressed by the stretch (first time grower…) no problems but funghus nats. The older plants got into stretch faster, the fastbuds are still behind and take longer to transition, only the orange sherbet kept up. They got a last feeding, so nothing much to do except watering and keeping the nats population down. Still waiting for defoliation as it get very full And I can’t keep the rh below 70%

Beginning of week 7, 6 full weeks of flower done, they should be ready this or next week. Trichomes are still mostly milky with few to no ambers. Some clear also still there. Found some larf hiding but able to reach the light so they are also fattening. Really hard to estimate how much it is going to be. So as a growquestion and a bit of a pool amongst us and to have an idea what the more experienced growers think, I'm giving away three Zambeza White Cheese Fast regular seeds to the GD meber who comes closest to real result, which I will display here once dried. Rules: This is, if you are over 18, from a country where sending and owning seeds is legal, have a GD account with at least one active grow. Otherwise you get a prize in same value but legal. Thats one board per plant basically, giving 850 ppfd on average on canopy level. - 140 cm (4.5 ft) by 70 cm (2ft) by 200 cm (6.5 ft) growtent. - Temps have been stable, so has humidity but 10 % more than I would want in this stage of flower, at 50 to 55 %. Nugs feel dense though, compact and weight to it. - middle plant has more buds, but are more larfy and little less dense. - all buds have sprouted little mini buds on them adding weight - Underlayer of buds are all less dense and more larfy. The ladies have rebounded very nicely. They are filling in the scrog nicely. Did a lot of tucking and bending of tops and leaves this week. The stretch during flower for these ladies is real. Even with the bending and tucking, the girls have easily gained 4 inches this week as well as quite a bit of girth as they bushes out. Temps have been good and RH has been steady between 55-60%. I have good airflow all around and don’t worry too much about it he higher RH at this point in the grow. I’m e seen some incredible phenos of this strain, and can’t wait to see what I’ll get! Week 11: Blueberry Auto - Harvest Day & Sweet Dreams Ahead! ☀️ Yo growmies! Harvest day is coming for our Blueberry Auto queen! Those folks at Royal Queen Seeds weren't lying - 11 weeks and this beauty is ready to meet the shears! The trichomes are looking milkylicious, like a frosty breakfast of champions, with nary an amber one in sight. So, it's going to be chop chop time in a few days! A quick shoutout to the German sunshine for working its magic these past few weeks. You rock! The Blueberry Auto's smell is getting sweeter by the second, like a blueberry bush that fell headfirst into a candy factory. Seriously, I can almost taste it already! Speaking of taste, the wait is almost over, guys! This harvest is about to get chopped, dried, and smoked faster than you can say "Blueberry Dream!" Yooo what’s up! Today marks Day 2 of Week 5 in flower and maaaan, things are coming along perfectly. The aromas right now are on a whole different level – every time I open the tent it’s like getting hit with a wave of dank fruity funk. Buds are stacking up beautifully, trichomes are starting to glisten, and the structure is lookin' solid. Only thing I’m wishin' I did different is spreading her out a bit more or doing a bit of defoliation earlier. She’s packed in and some of those lowers aren't getting all the love they could be. But hey – lesson learned for next run: don’t get greedy with the amount of tops! Quality over quantity, always. Gonna aim for a cleaner canopy next time, fewer but fatter colas. For now, I’m keeping the feed around 1000 PPMs, just to keep things steady without overdoing it. She seems happy, leaves are praying, and everything’s right on track. Let’s gooo! 💨🌱🔥

Greenhouse Update

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%.
