The buds on my Medusa are showing off a mesmerizing range of hues, with shades ranging from pink to purple, adorned with hints of red and green. It's a botanical masterpiece that feels like walking through a vibrant artist's palette! Now, let's dive into a fascinating aspect of the final weeks: stopping the feedings. As we approach the grand finale, I've decided to halt all nutrient supplements. Why, you ask? Well, it's like preparing for a fancy dinner party. Just like we ease up on appetizers before the main course, withholding additional nutrients allows the plant to focus its energy on ripening those gorgeous buds to perfection. It's like providing a VIP treatment, pampering the flowers as they reach their peak potency. Speaking of peak, I must admit, I've become quite the trichome enthusiast. Every day, I examine those tiny resinous structures, observing their development with a level of dedication that might make my Medusa think I'm an extraterrestrial trichome investigator. Start of week 3, the three survivors are doing great! I did happen to find some algae growing on top of one of the rockwool cubes. (This was my fault for not fully covering the tops of them with hydroton to block out light.) As an attempted fix, I cut some square pieces of black cloth that I laid of the top of the cubes to block out the light completely. Hoping removing their light source, the algae will die off and discourage any further growth. If it gets any worse I’ll try using a hydrogen peroxide solution. Day 17, the three ladies are looking nice. Starting to see some nice healthy roots populate inside the buckets. I went ahead and upped their nutrients today. We will see how they are doing in the morning. -FloraFlex - 1.5g/gal of each V1 and V2. -Advanced Nutrients - 1/2 strength MGB and hobbyist additives. **Algae update: seems like using the black cloth to block out all the light has killed off that algae growth and I don’t see anymore so it’s working!** Day 18, I thought one of my plants had root rot. Which was weird for it to happen that fast in less than 24 hours since changing the res. Come to find out it’s just nutrient stain from the Advanced Nutrients, so thank god. #1 and #2 which are growing with FloraFlex got FIMmed today. I’ve topped plants before but never FIM. Not sure if I did it right, but that’s the fun in all this, is experimenting to see what works. Day 20, #1 and #2 are responding well after being FIMmed couple days ago. I decided to FIM #3 as well. I also decided to leave the 4th one out of this diary from here on out since she’s behind. We will stick with the original three that survived from the start. So far I’m really loving their bushy appearance and thick leaves. Their roots are coming out super nice as well! Pretty soon these babies are going to just take off!

A great week for her! Guarded by one of my cold blooded friends while I was away! I flushed her with water (PH 6) before I left her to her last few days under the bulb 💡😎 Was pleasantly surprised to see her complete upon my return so I have placed her in darkness for 48 hours before the Chop! I really want to thank all those that have helped me along the way with this one, it’s been very simple bar some toxicity issues at the beginning (all my fault 🙃) but it just goes to show with the right attention and attitude you can turn it around! I will be for sure doing another RQS northern, next time a 10 Gal container and more microbiology attention 🤓 what an absolute beauty she is. The fragrance is a mixture of pine and fruits, it’s really refreshing, the plant itself is sticky ICKY! 😍 See you all in the next few days once she’s been cut/weighed and hung! ✌️👊👍😎

This week brought some challenges—I discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn’t too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I’ve been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question—yes, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m³/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure—I want to skip LST in my next grow. It’s quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. Watering: Day 17: 400 ml Day 20: 500 ml I’m keeping a close eye on the plant and hope to overcome these challenges successfully.

Bruce Banner #3 fast is growing good under the Hortibloom Solux 350. I just switched light times to 12/12 today. She got a lot of training as well. Everything is looking good and nothing else to report at the moment. This week i decided to scrog my ladies. I guess the next days I've to lollipop 'em the last time. The growth is also lookin' pretty decent guys. So stay tuned.

Can’t believe I got 78g of bud of her! That’s nearly double what I usually get of 1 plant 😂 maybe it was due to giving her 7 weeks of veg, rather than the usual 4 weeks!? Either way I’m buzzing She’s coated in sugar and stinks!! The high is strong giving a massive couchlock and the munchies! She smelt and tasted like usual cheese but obviously much nicer and stronger 😌

Girls are doing well with the LST. Kosher cake was topped last week and now has what looks like 8 heads. 3rd of June have given the girls living soil veg.

Dans ce cas il suffira simplement de faire un arrosage à l'eau au lieu de l'engrais et de reprendre les engrais à plus faible dose. Les tiges sont un bonne indicateur de la santé des plantes, hors génétique spécifique, elles doivent être verte et tendre, pas dur. On continue la FIM et la taille de certaines feuilles qui peuvent être gênante.
