One more week...
I have improved the equipment used to make the Janes will thrive as it should be, and to make sure that the environment is solid as diamond. ||
I absolutely love this genetic. The aroma, the structure of the plant, structure of the flowers and the effects of the final product. I hope in future to look back to what I'm doing and cover any flaws and dive into a very nice pheno-hunt.

Method used: minimal intervention — I don’t touch the plant and simply let it thrive.
The environment remains stable, especially in terms of temperature. I’ve learned that consistency is key: when conditions stay steady, the plant feels comfortable and grows stronger.

So far the dosi seems to be further into flowering than the bride cake. I’m noticing a potential cal/mag lock out with the dosi but I’ll continue to monitor over the course of these next few days. If signs worsen I’ll attempt to flush with lighter EC until run off readings of PH & EC are stable and will tone down the feed.
11/5/21 seems that my “mag & calcium deficiency” seems to really be nutrient burn. I am pushing these plants on their bloom diet (2.8-3.0EC) so it is to be expected however I shall continue to keep them at the same EC unless things begin to worsen 🤷♂️🏽 I like to limit test 😅

Thanks for stopping by growfessors! Harvest time has arrived for LSD! Woooweee! This strain continues to impress me and is going to be a mainstay in the garden for the foreseeable future.
Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight and initial smoke report. 👽🌳💚
Update April 30 - dry weight 181 grams. Very happy with this result.
Initial smoke report, citrus and fruity, very much a heady cerebral high.

they are all growing great and starting to get taller. a very robust plant and very easy to grow and maintain. they are getiing 1/2 the recommeneded dose of nutrients 3 times a week

The colours are popping! I’ve started to taper off the nutrients, I don’t typically “flush” the plants, but rather taper nutrients down until I have been able to give straight phd water for the last 3-4 feeds, making sure to water until I get about 5-10% runoff. I’ve tried both methods , the other being that I pour like 10 gallons of water through the plant, and I can’t tell the difference with my smoke, still clean and very tasty. I did a small defoliation at the end of the week, and added a support pole for the 1 lady in the far back, she was already starting to lean… just a couple of weeks to go !

This girl is coming on really nicely starting to see a bit more to her now. I have up’d the big bud nutrients this week so hopefully it “puts the big in your buds” increasing both their size and quality
It has been about two weeks now since I nearly snapped a branch clean off. I strapped and propped the snapped branch to the main stem as soon as it happened but when I checked on it the next day the strap had slip. I did worry as I wasn’t sure how long it had been apart but I re-strapped it and hoped for the best. So far the branch still looks healthy and I haven’t noticed any issues with it at all. The branch looks as if it’s healing really well so hopefully she pulls through.

Just pulled it today. Lots of pics to come and the weigh in. Going to update everything as I cure.
Curing is going well. Speed dried a little as I’m impatient as hell. Pretty happy with the results. This White Widow strain is very good. Extremely resistant to bugs. I’ve dealt with a spider infestation throughout this grow and only got it under control in the last few weeks. Daily maintenance and cleaning got me through flower and I was able to pull this off. At harvest it was cut and immediately went into a bud wash to clean them up and remove any leftover mites, residue, etc. I usually do a bud wash, especially if it’s outdoor. If done properly it has no impact and I find it produces a smoother taste tbh.
This was my second attempt at dwc. I’m very happy with it and will continue.
I’ll update the weights when things are cured.

Finally flipped and HOLY MOLY is it awesome to start seeing the flowers coming in for the first time on your first grow.
Super delayed flip to flower and I am manually switching the lights/opening tent every day due to prioritized spending.
BIG HUMIDITY PROBLEM. As I have still not hooked up an outtake fan for the tent I don't see my girls surviving past the next couple weeks so hopefully I can get that figured out.
I'll open it up to 95% RH by morning and it sits around 60% even with an open tent.
Other than that, I'm happy with the bud sites gained from my first ever grow. Just feeling my way through Topping, Fim, SCROG, and LST was fun a rewarding for sure. Just have to make sure they reach the finish line.
TUES: Cleaned tent floor and walls with disinfectant wipes, seemed to get rid of the smell so far.
Still worried about the humidity in the closed tent during the dark period. Need a duct fan hardcore before the buds start coming in. The first sight of trichs already sent me into a Powdery Mildew panic. 😱
THURS: Humidity break. Down in the 45% range and have been able to keep it in the 80s with a huge bowl of dried pasta in the tent lmao no coffee whitener or rice on hand 😒
Defoliation of light blockers and bunch ups to improve the airflow in the canopy. I'm hoping the UV lights in my LED set up are enough to keep mildew at bay and can get the dark period RH% down before buds fatten and there is risk for rot.

Cloning procedure:
Immediately place into water upon cutting.
Remove bottom nodes at base of stem, scratch stem gently with scissors + cut small slit on end of stem.
Dip stem into water, then dip into rooting powder, then firmly plant into moist soil.
Cover with Ziploc bag (humidity dome).
Solo cups have 4 holes in the bottom (Melted gently with a lighter)
(same soil as shown in diary for germination)
The soil was pre-moistened before the seeds were planted. (lightly watered, then top half of solo cup was stirred, to promote absorption (very dry soil))

Week 7: Well after accidentally super cropping the White Widow, splitting a branch then taping up on the Blueberry Big Devil and then mass defoliation, the ladies have coped well. I feel like I have watering dialed in now with a combination of using a soil moisture meter and picking up the pots, I have faith I am close to right with timing. The last feeding in week 6 I used full strength nutrients. This resulted in some nutrient burn with some tips of leaves changing colors. I feed just water the next go around and yesterday feed again with 1/2 strength nutrients. I will stick with that until flush. I am going to switch to dry amendments for my next grow and try that out. Temperatures are coming down into 60s at night and topping out in low 80s. Humidity has been hovering between 45-50 without any need for equipment to run. I did some lollipoping and cut lose all the secondary popcorn buds that weren't seeing the light of day. I can't think of anything I could have done physically to stress them beyond this point than I have, so from this point on out I am just going to water and feed. No more LST, adjustments, etc.. I have already been way too active in flower from my understand of autos anyway.
