Well, what we feared, became a reality, one of the regular XTrakush plants is a male. This is why I planted two and I'm happy it seems to be only the one. But with the canopy going nice and full it hurt to get it out. Of course, I hoped to have two females but nature went its course. Considered leaving it in, to pollinate the others, or keeping it somewhere, but I do not have the space or light for it. Thus with pain in my gut, I went about getting her out. I notice a nice developed root system, very healthy, which was very hard to get loose. After shaking the soil off I have a rootball the same size as after my whole grow last time. I could lift the whole 57 ltr bag by lifting the plant. Sturdy stem, thick solid branches. This is what I was aiming for and it works. The soil again is proving itself to be a winner. The light this low gives some higher temps as expected, but manageable within ranges. The SP-3000 is performing really well and I cant wait to see the bud development coming weeks. I'm sure it will deliver a great amount of bigger buds looking at all the flower sites and the thick branches that support them. The plants seem to take the light well on only 45 cm. I've started adding the BAC Organic Bloom Nutrition. It is designed to work with the microorganisms I added with the micro life. With this I do a little bit of Calmag, but not so much, since I don't see any evidence of shortages, again proving my soil is dialed in for growing under LED perfectly. Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Purple Punch am 26.12.2024 Tag 28 / 25.01.2025 Die Purple Punch habe ich ein Topping und LST unterzogen, sie hat sich sehr schnell erholt von Topping; eigentlich habe ich keine negative Reaktion bemerkt, das einzige ist wenn ich mit Biobizz dünge, macht die Pflanze einen gewaltigen Wachstumsschub. Feedback: Ich habe unterhalb zwei Blätter entfernt, mit dem Entlaubung bin ich sehr vorsichtig. Die Pflanze werde ich gut wachsen lassen, und die große Blätter nach und nach entfernen. Ich könnte mehr Blätter entfernt, aber in der Vergangenheit habe ich Fehler gemacht. Ich habe festgestellt das die Pflanzen in Light Mix besser wachsen, einmal Gisse ich die Pflanzen mit Dünger von BioBizz und einmal ohne Dünger. Soweit ich das sehe ist eine Überdüngung ausgeschlossen, gerne nehme ich Ratschläge aus der Community an. Feedback am 29. Januar 2025 Die Entlaubung von Purple Punch war für meiner Sicht erfolgreich, die Vorgehensweise nach und nach die Entlaubung durchzuführen hat die Pflanze nicht gestresst.

All good flowering nicely , I needed to remove a lot of fan leaves from the top of the Gelato Sorbet they were yellowish and some kind of deficiency is there.

Hi there, As we approach the fourth week of veg, our expectations for the jungle tour continues to grow. This phase of the grow season is very exciting because at this time it’s decided how well we can lay the foundation for the subsequent successful flowering period. Our goal was to stop apical growth and teach the gals to focus on growing lateral branches. At first glance, I think we will be fine in this regard, but the following weeks will give us the answer. So we used tying wires and tent hooks to keep the branches down and open the canopy for better light penetration for the lower part of the plants. 🌞 A good defoliation has been done as well. Watered only once this week with 3 litres of PH-ed, de-chlorinated water and some Silica.💦 600 PPFD was a bit too much for them as I saw signs of light stress so we dimmed back the lamp to 520-540.🌞 Wish everyone a lovely weekend and see you next week!💨👊

Starting a lil LST

This week marks the 10th and likely final week of my autoflower grow. The buds have really filled out and are covered in a thick layer of trichomes. Most pistils have turned orange/brown, and the plant is giving off a strong, pungent aroma. Under close inspection, the trichomes are mostly cloudy with some beginning to turn amber – a clear sign she’s nearly ready for harvest. The fan leaves have started fading and curling slightly, especially lower down, which is to be expected at this stage. I stopped feeding nutrients around a week ago and have been flushing with just water to clean out any remaining salts. She’s still drinking well and hasn’t shown any major stress signs. Overall, I’m really happy with how this run turned out. She stayed compact, didn’t stretch too much, and produced some dense, frosty buds. I’ll probably gave her 2–3 more days before the chop – just to let a few more amber trichomes develop for that nice relaxing effect So i cutet her 2 days later because of the to high humidity , because i dont want bud

So this week has really absolutely crawled by from my perspective, I imagine it is common with growing that the closer you get to harvest the further away it seems. Anyway I am a bit worried about the middle sized plant - she has a lot more yellowing of fan leaves from the inside out. My reaction to this was to flush her with clean water, my thinking is that everything was fine before I started feeding, and perhaps I didn't mix properly and the soluble stuff was unevenly distributed. That was yesterday (week 6 day 4) It's too soon to tell if this has helped, fingers crossed it doesn't begin to affect other leaves. Despite this being only 5 days into week 6, there have already been fairly drastic changes. Some of the buds are starting to fatten more, and I'd say we're at about 15% pistils amber now, the smell has noticeably increased day by day. It's really beautiful to look the plants in the dark with a flashlight or phone light, the way the light bounces off the frosting of trichomes, as if someone had sneaked in the middle of the night and misted my plants with a million tiny diamonds. I think I will stop feeding the middle plant now and water only (unless it gets worse). The other two I will continue to feed until the end of this week. At the rate of accelerated change I suspect harvest time may not be too long past the end of next week. It's a shame they don't have much more time to grow but at least what small quantity does come from them, I am determined it is harvested at the right time. At the end of week six I have watered only as I now think these plants are maybe 7-12 days away from harvest.

Day 36. The plants are in pre flowering stage. The plants are tall 25 cm about except one of them that is 60cm.

Memory loss began to show female by july 4, so it's now 6 weeks since first hairs. I am using bamboo stakes (only on this girl) at about 3.5 feet above soil to create a canopy, similar to a SCROG. There are hundreds of budding sites. Star killer and Calif orange are just beginning to show female. Star killer 1 is being allowed to bud with minimal interference, star killer 2 has me reducing the number of buds to a dozen and cali will have only 2 colas. Daytime temps range between 80 and 100. But they are used to it and are thriving. nighttime 55-70. in containers. fed organic in flower twice. watering is whenever soil dries a bit and pulls away from edge. about 3 gallons does all 4 plants. Plants are between 53 and 60 inches tall. Memory loss canopy is nearly 4 feet square. heavy watering 3.5 gal all 4 plants total.

Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of my Sundae Driver which I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didnt do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I wont make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why I cant select them on this site anymore, I know they got sold but they don't list them under either name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. I dont really do any LST until I get get the first toppings done, because my primary goal at this stage is to ensure she grows a strong set of roots before I start manipulating her. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for this Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I dont need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep this ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so.
