It's now the beginning of week 6, and the plant seems to have entered the ripening phase. I stopped using Big Bud halfway through last week and started Overdrive, which I’ll continue for the next 2–3 weeks. I’ll stick to this feeding schedule and plan to flush in about 3 to 4 weeks from now. The plant doesn't seem to be growing any taller, and the buds have likely stopped stretching, so I expect them to gain a bit more weight as they start to swell. Either way, the aroma and structure of the plant are really nice. I had quite a few issues with this plant during the vegetative stage that I had to deal with, like powdery mildew and cold stress. Thankfully, I managed to resolve them fairly quickly, but they did slow things down a bit. That’s why I’m actually quite satisfied with the results so far.

Ok so today is day 9 and I have had a change of plans for the grow and have lost 4 of the 9 papaya cookie seedlings.Probably just a stroke of bad luck but I must move forward.I have 5 papaya cookies,1 gelato auto and 3 mystery photos from fast buds mix pack in the tent that will flourish after the autos finish.Just plain water every few days is the plan and recharge once every 10 days.SE7000 is raised to the ceiling of my 5x5 80 inch high tent set at 30 percent power.

Week 5 of flowering 10/16/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 5 Buds are getting bigger and thicker. Defoliated plants. Watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff) hand watering to full saturation of the media with 20% runoff at the end of the week. Checking runoff EC every 3 days. Lights now at max height and 90% power. After replacing the exhaust fan timer, didn't notice ant issues. Adding 2.5ml/gal of H2O2 (35%) to the reservoir to keep bacteria away.

Day 22 - her takeoff has begun a. the lady is doing well, growing all over, no signs of any damage or light stress b. i have to keep reminding myself that this Indica plant is only 22 days old c. the pool is hanging at 5.9/6.0 PH all the time. d. I will not be topping, fimming or high stress training this plant as the breeder recommends e. lowered the light is at 45cm away from the seedling f. added reflector tape to the top of the DWC, my main DWC has it, and its plants always do amazing, so why the hell not reflector tape this one Day 23 - Growth Explosion a. she is really taking off, like a rocket! b. she is becoming more and more bushy, smells too, really good c. the reflective tape on top of the DWC changes my photos, lol, it allows for a-lot of light reflection and eye pain Day 24 - performed light defoliation a. opened up the lower parts of the plant for light b. only removed 8 leaves, will remove more in a few days to allow for no runt branches c. also removed some of the original stabilizer rocks... when she was a tiny baby she was very leggy and needed support, she has thick stem now! d. airflow is opened up and the fan is blowing more direct on the gorilla e. gradually stepping up the ppm, at 550. only have to increase FloraMicro and FloraGro Day 25 - growth observed all over a. lower limbs that were hidden by leaves are perking up, and heading outward b. airflow around the plant is great, the CO2 production is very high, as the tent smells of banana liquor c. ventilation is turned off to preserve humidity and CO2 Day 26 - growth a. smooth and steady, she is drinking alot from the DWC, about 1/2 litre a day b. removed 2 large fan leaves, the lower limbs need to see light Day 27 - lower growth occurring now a. the lower foliage and branches are growing more since they see more light b. performed the last defoliation for a while, encouraging the side branches to take dominance over the main without topping this plant Day 28 - ending the week on a high note! a. she grew nearly 2x over night, opening her up to the light was a huge help b. with these smaller LED lights im guessing light penetration through thick indica leaves is very low, leaftucking helps c. will begin ponytailing LST next week to encourage more lateral branch growth d. today though, she is just chillin out in the 28 degrees and 60% humidity, ventilation is running, and she is smelling very nice

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. D64/F12 - 11.18 - Been a really incredible week for these ladies. All of them are thriving with lovely prebuds <3 D67/F15 - 11.21 - Lovely progress. Even the least beautiful plant in the garden is reaching above the peony rings :) D70/F18 - 11.24 - Pretty aggressive defoliation on these ladies today. They responded great last round, so I expect to see the start to put a lot of weight on soon. The black sugars (second column of three from the left) we way more leafy than the fast white widows

So that's my first ever grow completed! And something tells me i don't think it will be the last 😁🤔 overall I am proud as punch with the end result. Overall from 7 plants I ended up with 5 1/2 oz dry, top buds seem to be more compact and built up, apart from that the majority 70-80% are very airy, however absolutely packed with thc shining! Being my first grow its all for personal use so i dont mind 😁😊 any suggestions moving forward for future increase in fatter/denser nugs would be appreicated. I ran 2 x 600 watt cheap led lights, which im 100% certain dimmed towards the last 3 weeks (the brightness dramatically reduced) making me think that a few leds burnt out throughout - I think moving forward i would look into better spec grow light. Found these girls very easy to grow, very forgiving for anything i done wrong being my first experience. The plants grew all different shapes and sizes I done some lst rather late into the grow which I think give some funky growth shapes, in the end all grew out with loads of bud locations all over. Really wish I had given more space for light penetration. I ran 6 fabric pots and 1 plastic, I felt the ladie in the plastic pot took off much quicker than the rest and on cutting down seemed to have the best root setup, anyone else have an opinion on what they find best? The smells and taste are very very fruity and cirtusy/lemon, smoke nice head high still curing will update with full smoke report in a week or so! Towards the last 3 weeks or so the smell from the plants was strong and very fruity, would reccomend a carbon filter if trying to stay down low. Used all my trim and alot of of the pop corn nugs for butter so nothing went to waste currently making a huge batch for some tastey treats. Would love another blast at growing these ladies, learnt alot throughout and will take the knowledge to future grows! Mild smell (dominant weed but slight hayish) I love it.😂 It tastes really light and soft. Buds are fluffy not really compact. Im high though. It works :) Vaped at 195 °C. The rest will stay in the tent for a little longer (Snap time). Harvest wont be more than 5-10g but I'm fine with that. Just the fact they survived is a success. What a journey. Murphy at its best 🙈😂Hopefully weather will become more dry. Drying Tent is standing outside under a roof and humidity is too high at the moment. Found no mold or strange smell. First owngrown successfully accomplished. Next run will be epic 😎 Never give up. Don't worry. Keep Growing✌️.

Still stacking up grapefruit is not as impressive as gorilla glue and strawberry pie. One of my Vivusun 315 watt CMH ballasts stopped working after only a month’s use. I’m trying to get a replacement but the company is making me jump hoops for warranty. I have had a Topolite 630w CMH for three years and it’s still working great. I cut lights down to 12/12 to see if grapefruit will start to stack up. The smell is definitely getting stronger with the sticky strawberry pie being the strongest.

After 52 days we harvested because we want that runtz stopping their seed Production. Hopefully there will be Not to much seeds. Now they will dry in the tent for 10 days some buds have many seeds others have fewer. The runtz didn't smell good at first, rather disgusting, but after 10 days of drying and 2 weeks of curing, it developed its full flavour. We are very satisfied for our first grow. The BruceBanner was luckily spared pollination. We have already learnt something for our next run… :)
