Veg for 8 weeks Dew to writing the wrong date down. lol. .which means flowering didn't start till week 10. So finally a dream come set off my next run . Thank you so much to the anonymous generous-hearted genetics inventors who sent me these mysterious seeds. Soaked them with a few drops of kelp extract concentrate i had made for my last grows. Meanwhile this is a bio tabs run, and let me just take the time right now to thank BIG K from @biotabs_f69 for all the help learning more about biotabs ! So it's a front loaded activity, followed the instructions on the box for the biotabs, placed two, added the myco to the substrate and the plug hole watered with orgatrex and my very own smart protein you guys. This is a different type of additive that works like carbos but is directly accessible to the plant. Let's see how it works out ! Germination rate for me was 10/10 , poked out overnight, now the veg begins. I'll be applying a variety of techiques while i set up a perpetual rotation. Advice welcome 🚀 watering 200 ml twice to three times a day , carefully as to not compact the soil - just something i learned from my last grow that really works out over time ! 🚀

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! What's up growmies 🤟🏽 Week number 4 is in the books🙌🏾 Today marks the official start of week 5 and just like my previous grows all my autos are starting to preflower. Like clockwork it starts around week 5 so it lets me know these are right on schedule. I am really focusing on keeping the main cola ties down to keep the canopy as even as possibly. Typically in the past I would stop tying them down during flowering and the main cola would outgrow the rest and dominate. This grow I am continuously tying the main cola down. They all are pretty even except for Caramelicious, her main cola is just a stud and won't bend to 180 w/o me snapping the main stalk. She still is my favorite though and it's my 7th time growing her (I plant at least 1 Caramelicious each grow) The nutrient schedule remains the same. I am feeding them General Hydroponics Flora series. (Floragro, FloraMacro, FloraBloom) I am mixing what the manufacturer recommends for 1 gallon into 3 gallons, so I'm giving roughly 1/3rd what's recommended and it seems to be the sweet spot for my set up and environment. All the plants are doing well and are not showing any signs of stress, deficiency, or toxicity at this point. The weather here in VA has been pretty cold which makes it perfect humidity wise for my indoor grow, without having to blast my Cloud intake system, or even turn on the dehumidifier which won't last long because they are starting to flower and will take up more volume increasing humidity so I expect to have to use them both in the next few weeks. It appears a spider has made it's home in my tent (I see webbing in one corner of the tent) I figured it'll take care of pests for me and is not harmful so I am leaving it be for now. Blue had a solid start right out of the gate. She grew nice thick, full leaves and was happy as a clam cake.... Until I decided to FIM 🤦‍♀️. I had originally planned on topping her like her tent mate, but someone suggested a FIM, I had never done it before, so I thought, "Why not?!" Well Blue didn't seem to like it all that much, and as she began to grow out I did a poor job of opening her up enough to get proper sub-canopy circulation. I think this was mostly due to a combination of me not knowing what to expect from a FIM in regards to its grow pattern and not having a clear vision of my end game from the start, and the fact that Blue Dream'matic seems to just be a generally "bushy" plant and my natural grow style didn't adapt quickly enough to due her justice. Looking back now, I should have done a better job at doing a bit more defoliation than I did - but I found myself holding back once I had realized the stress I caused the plant from the FIM. That was a mistake. Over the rest of her grow she took a nice turn for the better. I went through and stripped some of the lower buds and opened up her underbrush as best as I could. She ended up giving me some nice fat trichome covered buds in return. I cut her down and hung her in my climate controlled closet holding 69.8°F and 55%RH. Six days later she was jarred up. Blue Dream'matic gave me 85g/3.0oz of quality bud plus an additional 1.9oz of popcorn bud. A day after being in jars I noticed the humidity in the jars was 79%, so I put the buds into some brown paper bags overnight, and this morning I let them get some more air. The buds being so large are sneakily holding more moisture than I had realized. I'll update with my strain review once she's done curing. ✌️000

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.
