🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. The Autopots system, combined with the Aptus Holland Clean Program and Plagron Green Sensation, made sure they had the perfect environment to expand, absorb, and thrive. The plant got harvested at day 56 of flowering. too early bit was my first grow and had no idea about the harvest window.

Thought she was finally done last week, but I took the advice of some very helpful growmies and gave her another 10 days. Trichomes are cloudy, and some of the top buds have started to foxtail. I usually look forward to harvesting but this one is bittersweet.

[Week 1 - Germination] The Fat Banana seed has germinated and looks very healthy. Very small leaves have appeared in the past two days!

Biggest sparkly buds on this plant. I haven’t seen this much trichome coverage in awhile!! Def going to grow again!

In week 12 the humidity inside my HOMEBOX-tent is unfortunately still VERY HIGH (maximum of 73%). The combination of big buds and high humidity is BAD...I fear bud-rot. The 12 AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS continue to THRIVE! They all have a healthy green color and produce buds all over. All branches have formed HUGE colas at this point...its AMAZING to see how big the AK-47 can get. Every watering I add MILLS-nutrients following the feeding schedule of Mills from their website and the plants LOVE IT. The trichome production is INSANE, they are FROSTY AS HELL NOW! 😎 I cant wait to try this amazing smelling strain and see how good it works against my chronic back pain. The VERY STRONG aroma reminds me of Sandalwood end is THICK and HEAVY at this stage of flowering. The two SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lamps are doing an EXCELLENT job until now, the spectrum is PERFECT for cannabis. Both LEDs are dimmed to 100% now in week 8 of flowering, because FULL-POWER mode is needed for abundant flower production.I LOVE THOSE LEDs 😍 and I can only strongly recommend to every grower to give them a try!

had some left over fish shit tea brew from the veg run, so I gave it to the flowering girls right now, due to the brewing there are only low levels of N and lots of microbes. Worry about the microbes and the plants will uptake what they need, this philosophy seems to be working very well.

05/02/2026 This better be the last week. I have her in the dark for the next two days. Hopefully she gives me some color. Or does that work with the light? Readings: pH: 5.74 EC: 604 cm TDS: 430 ppm Temp: 63.3° Readings after a small top off. pH: 5.88 EC: 590 cm TDS: 413 ppm Temp: 64.4° Readings Again: pH: 6.3 EC: 517 TDS: 405 Temp: 62.8° 05/03/2026 Readings: PH: 6.25 EC: 588 cm TDS: 418 ppm Temp: 67.1° So we can see that the warmer the water, the higher the concentration of salts. I just added an ice bottle, but it's still working it's magic. The pH seems to have leveled out too. As for the high concentration of salts, I'm gonna have to repeat flushing again. Well, in this case, I'm going to pull a gallon out and add another gallon and a half or so of plain pHed water. Reason being, I can't get the bottom of the bucket with my water pump. The roots are all in the way. So it's still loaded with nutrients. And now the water is below the roots. I've been doing my best to avoid topping off, but I think I just want to do the swap. Plain Filtered and pHed tap water readings: pH: 6.08 EC: 435 cm TDS: 307 ppm Temp: 65.7° I pHed a gallon of water. Pulled 3 gallons out of the bucket and put 3.5 gallons back in. Perfect top off especially for the last few days of flushing. I should probably check the trichomes. I haven't since I put her in the dark 2 days ago. The plants are now in the bulk phase. It seems to be a very stable strain, as the growth pattern and aroma are almost identical to the previous plant of the same strain. I'm gradually lowering the EC as the leaves on #2 starting to show little burnings. VPD around 1.4–1.6 The light hits the plants with around 900 PPFD.

First time growing an auto strain but turned out well. Great yield for one auto plant dried and cured Total height was 49.5” Used a 600W MH/HPS setup For side lighting I used a 4ft 54W T5 and about a 100W LED

Day 8: All settled in and game for the grow now. Six shooter is a lanky looking lady with longer leaves than the other two girls. She has a sativa look to her already !. lol shebis on her 3rd set and possibly 4th at a pinch Strawberry pie is the smaller of the group in overall size so far with her leaves resembling the six shooter. onher 4th set of nodes Mexican Airlines is a broad leaved girl indeed. lots of area to power those growth spurts hopefully . All around 2 inches tall and now directly under the sp3000 with the room fan keeping them dancing. Lets hope they are thick stemmed ,multi noded ,monsters next week!!!. With their position in the room , they will be trained but not to keep their height down as they are next to a tall lady and need to keep the light up. Be safe Growmies.

6/21 Didn't go check the plants last night. They were fine though. No drooping. I may increase my feeding schedule as I'm noticing a few leaves in the middle inside of the plant turn yellow and die. I'll update as I check stuff out. Can't upload pictures right now so it will be later today. Went back in the pm and watered. Noticed a few of the wild lady bug larvae are getting pretty big. Fucking spiders ate a bunch. 6/22 Went and watered before feeding 2 gallons. I need to make solution stronger add more growbig. Also need to spend more time defoliating and LST and relocate the two plants in the cage that are able to be moved. UPDATE: After checking the weather I decided to water despite the meager .1in of rain we might get. Also need to follow up on my IPM. It seems like roots have completely overtaken some containers.Maybe that's why I am watering twice a day. Perhaps I need to water more at a time. PH still high at around 7.3, 7.4. Anyhow I've got some work to do. 6/23 It rained a little last night so I didn't need to water this morning. I used the extra time to do some LST and slight defoliation. I used plant clips and string to tie branches down. Noticed some PM on the inside of a couple smaller plants. I need to move one more plant to a different location, spray for my IPM and defoliate a little better. My anxiety makes it hard for me to cut my plants. I need to watch some more videos on PROPER outdoor defoliation. Went back over and watered. I was able to maneuver some branches through my trellis for better airflow. Noticed some cricket and leaf hopper damage on the smaller plants I tied down. I squished a couple but I think I'm going to do a treatment of Dr. Zymes or LCPT tonight. Also, I got promoted on here to apprentice. I was stoked until I found out it only takes into account the number of likes you get for promotions lol. 6/24 Soil was still damp so I lightly watered. It's hot today and I'd rather have the bags not dry out in the wind. I need to spray tonight. Due to an unexpected death in the family I haven't gotten everything done that I need too. Watered when I went back over. 6/25 Lightly watered despite soil being damp. The grow bags are just basically roots. They go through the bag into the ground making it tough to do the "lift test". They are thirsty plants. I found a dreaded worm (moth larvae) as I didn't do my preventative BT. Tonight I'll be spraying. Just not sure which product yet. Did some small defoliation today. I'm afraid of taking to much. Just want better airflow. Plan to spray tonight. UPDATE: Sprayed LCPT to treat the PM and hopefully as a catch all for the worm and thrip I found. I will upload pics of my trunk after the defoliation. It won't let me edit the pic and I'd rather not have my tag showing. 6/26 Treated with LCPT last night. Amazing how much better the plants look after an application. Fed two gallons today and upped growbig to 2tbsp. I was feeding on the fifth day but this it's only been three days this time. I'll monitor for results. Pictures weren't taking this morning. Couldn't upload pics of the stalks after I defoliated which sucks because I think I did pretty good and wanted see feedback. 6/27 Had a rushed morning. Had time to quickly water before I had to leave. Will examine and update later today. Went back over and everything looks good. Just normal issues and work to be done. 60% RH 90 DEGREES today.
