Week 7 Progress & First Bloom Feed! (May 9th - May 18th) Welcome back, dudes! Things are progressing well in the grow tent. These pictures cover the period from May 9th to May 18th, showing steady growth and the start of flowering for some. I've made a key change to the feeding regimen: I've added GHF Bio Bloom to both the White Widow and the Banana Blazes, at a rate of 3 grams per liter of soil. This is to support their transition into the flowering stage and help them develop those sweet buds. Here’s the breakdown of how things are looking: White Widow XXL Auto (Barney's Farm): The White Widow continues to thrive. Her LST has really opened up the canopy, and you can see plenty of new bud sites developing. She's stretching nicely as she enters her flowering phase. Auto Banana Blaze (Dutch Passion) - First One: The first Banana Blaze is also showing good progress and is responding well to the added Bio Bloom. The earlier yellowish spots haven't worsened, and overall she's putting on solid growth. The Younger Ones (Second Auto Banana Blaze & Auto Kong 4): These two are steadily growing and stacking up their nodes. They're still a bit behind the older plants, but healthy and establishing well. Overall, the tent is bustling with activity, and it's exciting to see the first signs of proper bud formation. The new Bio Bloom addition should give them all the fuel they need for the upcoming flowering stretch. Stay tuned for more updates as these ladies continue to fill out and frost up!

Hola a todos!!. Esta semana he regado con top veg 2ml x litro se agua y el resto de los días solo agua. Viene creciendo bien, a pesar de no tratarla como corresponde. 😅🙏

Lampe 80% power und nur noch 20cm platz, muss wohl nachbinden… Die krumbles haben einen Weg, sieht mir nach generellem Defizit aus aber vor allem wenig CalMag, oder war schon zu viel und ein lockout könnte durch Zugabe von CalMag provoziert werden. Wir werden sehen. Blätter sehen mies aus Blüten wachsen super, Harzproduktion geht weiter, Geruch wird immer stärker. Mycrene und Limonene liegen in der Luft;). Die Zake stinken extrem nach rohrzucker-hopfen leicht bitter, die krumbles sind beide sehr süs die b2 hat einen mehr als intensiven citrus Duft. Die Zake sind alle sehr unterschiedlich, nur der Geruch ähnelt. Z1 110cm , z2 95cm z3 85cm. Musste sie unterfüttern. Buds an jeglichen wichstyp angepasst. Hatte Glück 3 phänos zu treffen sativa lastig, ausgeglichen, indica lastig. Hoffe die Damen haben genau so viel Spaß wie ich :D

In the end I’m very happy how this first Grow went. Tomorrow I’m gonna finish the other half and update some pictures. Curing begins now, can’t wait to smell and taste the full cured terpens! 😋🌱

5 days left shes fading nice and buds show purple tints, the smell is just God tier, as always the weight came at the very end, boom 💥

Girls have grown pretty well. I have missed atleast one weeks update. Both have their own citric smell other more grape like and other well more citric 😁

Monday May 10th: Didn't wake the plants up this morning with the light! Time for 36 hours of darkness and then harvest tomorrow morning😊

Wow very good growth on her this week, doing VERY well in her tiny 1L airpot! She has a really thick stem already. I am worried she's not an autoflower though... Let's leave her for a few more weeks and see if she enters flowering.

Day 35 Today the plant shows healthy, vigorous vegetative growth. The canopy has filled out noticeably, with several new shoots emerging from the top and sides. The leaves appear a rich green, and the serrated edges are well-defined. The plant is developing tighter node spacing compared to earlier growth stages, giving it a fuller, bushier appearance. The top growth (“new growth tips”) is a lighter green, which is typical for fresh developing foliage. Multiple tops are pushing upward, suggesting the plant has responded to previous growth changes—possibly training or natural branching. The lower leaves appear slightly more mature and darker, while the new growth is soft and fresh. Compared to an earlier stage, the plant clearly looks more structured and defined, with emerging symmetry in its branching. It seems to be entering a phase where vertical and lateral shoots are increasing in number, giving it a more complex canopy.

06/03/19 - These plants have grown so fast, normally at this stage my previous plants have been much smaller, only 14 days old and got a 8-9 wingspan on the fan leaves, I’m really happy I’ve turned to mills as I’ve had no faults with them yet, I did see a slight cal defiency on one of them but this was my own fault not the nutrients, I heard I dident have to add cal mag as their A&B had extra in it, but as I’m in coco I made a mistake but I’m hopeing that it’s gonna be a quick fix and they will be back to normal in the next few days 🤞🏻 09/03/19 - the gelatos seem like their doing fine, had a few brown specs but nothing progressed and it looks like their doing good. 12/03/19 - started to LST/leaf braid today as their already big enough for it and should be switching to flower at the end of next week

Thanks for checking in Guys! Absolutely loved growing and admiring this Zkittlez plant for the past 4 months. She’s a beauty. Grows super well, and was happy to be topped and trained with LST and defoliated quite heavily. She loved a feed, and show no signs of nute lockout or any deficiencies. My only one downsize is that the nugs produced, especially the lowers aren’t super dense and you lose a lot of wet weight. Other than that an incredible plant to grow and super super tasty on the smoke 🙌🏼❤️

3/23 12AM Monday. BKO I made from crossing Gelato 44 and Bubbles Blueberry F4 is way better than I thought LOTS of color. All are doing good, even with soft water..as long as I flush out way more than im used to. That’s an awesome success story, congratulations on pulling off that pollen chuck and getting viable seeds from your targeted branch! As a non-professional breeder working in a home setup (with the challenges of being homebound and managing everything solo), nailing a deliberate cross like this is seriously impressive. You basically created your own hybrid: **Blueberry Bubbles F4** (from Brothers Grimm Seeds, a refined take on DJ Short’s classic Blueberry lineage—sweet, creamy blueberry terps with vanilla, subtle lavender/chamomile, and those nostalgic fruity/skunky notes) pollen hitting a **Gelato 44** (the Tyson 2.0 collab with Royal Queen Seeds, which is Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC—potent, indica-dominant with citrus-cookie-earth-mint flavors, high THC around 22%, and dense, resinous buds). The result you got—those **bright red calyxes** (the small, teardrop-shaped protective structures that hold the pistils and get super frosty with trichomes)—is a beautiful, eye-catching phenotype expression. It’s not something you see every day, and it turned out “really nice” as you said. ### Why the Bright Red Calyxes? If you snap more pics of the full buds or plant, I’d love to see how it fills out.👨‍🔬 3/24 4:07 AM Montel dream widow is doing great so are the two Mike Tyson‘s and the bubbles I have a Cork Screw auto in there I kind of made a mistake. I couldn’t tell it wasn’t flowering and I moved it from one tent to the other, so that one has been flowered and bagged and back to flower. I don’t know what’s gonna happen but they’re all looking great. Wish I could figure out what I’m doing right now but having these two lights instead of one at lower wattage and getting a lot of runoff, I take them into the bathtub to water them now just to make sure that the EC is where I want it to be when I’m done. It’s a heck of a lot more work this way and I didn’t mean to have this many going so it’s still working out really good though. So I have all the trailer Park boys, Montel, iced tea, two Mike Tyson’s and the one that I made the blueberry knockout that one’s really nice. I can put this on that tumor on my neck since I can never seem to die. 3/25 1:30PM MONTEL!!!! DREAM WIDOW IS THE STAND-OUT FOR LOOKS AT THE MOMENT..... Montel's Dream Widow is looking absolutely killer in these photos. The undulating, "tarantula-like" leaf pattern emerging from the buds is one of the coolest and most distinctive traits I've seen on a cannabis plant in a while. Those long, serrated fan leaves are curling and radiating outward from the cola in a wavy, almost spidery or "hairy" fashion, giving the whole bud a wild, textured, almost alien look. The heavy frost (those dense white trichomes coating everything) combined with the way the leaves are twisting and overlapping makes it look like the flower is exploding with movement. It's hypnotic and unique—definitely not your standard dense, compact cola. Why this happens This phenotype is likely a combination of: Genetics from the Montel's Dream Widow strain (a cross involving Widow family genetics—often White Widow or Widow relatives—with strong sativa-leaning or hybrid vigor that can produce more "leafy" or "foxtail" bud structures). Going to keep Ricky going re-vegging and she's a pet for life now. 3/29 2:45PM "Montel Iced Tea under the two TS 1000 lights (running at ~50-60W each) is hitting that sweet spot you’re looking for. The main cola being tall and just a couple inches from the light without burning is excellent. That low wattage combined with the drivers mounted outside the tent is the key “magic” here. Why This Setup Is Working So Well for You • Low heat + safe distance: At only 50-60W per light, the TS 1000 isn’t dumping excessive heat directly onto the canopy. The tall main cola can get close to the light for good light penetration without tip burn. • Drivers outside the tent: This is the big win. The driver is the main heat source on many lights. By keeping both drivers on top of the grow tent (outside), you’re keeping the tent much cooler and safer. Most other lights (including the FE 1500) keep the heavy driver inside, which turns small tents into ovens. • Fan + carbon filter mounted on top: You’re keeping all the motors and moving parts outside the enclosed space. This is smart for safety (easier to shut off or access if something goes wrong) and reduces heat buildup inside the tent. • Overall design: Less mass inside the tent = less risk, easier temperature control, and better airflow. The fact that it’s working so well with the Montel is encouraging you to redesign other tents this way. This matches your practical, safety-first style: low wattage for gentle, even coverage, everything heavy/hot mounted externally, and the ability to quickly access or shut off components. It’s not the “maximum wattage” approach many growers chase, but it’s clearly giving you better real-world results in your small tents.

Another good week here in the tent. Getting water daily. Defoliated as needed every other day. The girls are looking great and smelling great. Lots of frost coming off these girls. Started the UVB at 30 minutes and have moved up to an hour. The tests went right to two hours but I wanted to ramp it up. Will go up thirty minutes tomorrow and continue that every few days to ramp up usage. The trichomes are coming along but not milky

Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.
