Soaked the seed in water for 36 hours then popped into a Grodan cube that was pre-soaked for 12 hours in pH 5.8 water. First sprouted 24 hours later and has been growing fine in the propagator under some cheap LEDs until I get her into the net pot and tent soon.

The plant is developing extremely well, was not impressed by the topping and is pushing well! It was topped after the 4th node and should fit so well in the tent.

Only water for the past week being added to reservoir after nutrients..... Huge intakes... Very big plant.. Very big Buds... I have no idea what the weight will be... But it will big lol... Fucking awesome... All grown with Cheap leds lol well relatively cheap about 400 CAD all said and done on all the lights.. Full 1000 ppfd coverage on this plant with some extra ... There is a method to the madness. Foxtails are genetic related.. As they are present on all parts of the plant. The very tips of all big colas have been circumcised and my buds are all Kosher Now lol. No it helps make for fatter colas and stops some of the long and spindly look from happening.. I'd love to explain to everyone in great detail why the tip clipping is a cool idea especially with a foxtaily strain but if you can't figure it out.... not worth explaining.. Trichomes are looking milky and full. Going to give one more light feeding, and then flush em towards the end of the week. G13 has some calyxes that are growing in top of existing bud... possible this one keeps growing for another week, but seems like Banana is ready to go. Is there any downside to getting one gallon sized Mason jars for curing? I've yet to have a successful dry/cure, so really hoping to dial it in this time with the proper climates.

Day 64, 22nd of November 2021: Hi there! Here we go..... so basically pistils are appearing stronger this is the 2nd weeks since they started producing pre flowers. The plants getting a bit light might be some air circulation problem? However they look good and of course closer to the end the gettin' older so the leaves also die. Set up and timing is the same since flower season started. ViparSpectra XS2000 is on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation: 12 hours period when the lamp is on it switches 1 hour on and after one hour off mostly to keep the temperature and of course because of fresh air flow. When the lamp is off it switches on in every 2 hours for 15 min at the same time with the extraction fan. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it switches on in every 2 hours for 30 min. That's all a bit more water for them from today also. Humidity quite the same approx 50%, temperature as well approx 26-27 Celsius. Fertilization remains the same since last week, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week.

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! Weekly update: August 6th Looking great, major spurt of growth on both girls, #1 (sativa leaning girl) had major final stretch to end off stretch in 3 days (hopefully). And #2 (stockier indica leaning pheno) has had a big increase in flower size in 3 days which is promising, and is also producing a very sweet and tropical fruity gas smell, this is TCP after all! Oh yea and I’m running about 1700 center 500 outer ppfd and tapering down if I see anything but nothing so far all good nice genetics, may drop in the next week even if no signs or symptoms, to prevent and not be too greedy. Now for the not so good… been getting 10% runoff almost every feed, but my runoff of #1 was 3500ppm and pH 4.5 and #2 at 5000ppm and pH 4.5. Been giving around 850 ppm input at pH 6.0, never went over 1000ppm input. So I have to correct with 25% increase in feed volume, 300-400ppm input at pH 7.0 for what I infer to be 2-3 feeds until runoff ppm is significantly lower, and pH is at least 5.5. UPDATE Aug 8: To address the toxic/locked-out root-zone I did a regular feed with runoff (1.5 gal total volume per pot @ 820ppm bloom focus), runoff consisted of pH 4.2-4.5 and 4000-6000ppm... OUCH. I then fertigated with 0.5 gal plain pH 6.5-7 dechlorinated tap water each. I repeated this a total of 3 times, to which the last flush had 3 ml/gal cal-mag. final runoff ppm @ 1000-2000, pH 5.3-5.5. To conclude, I more than likely wasn't achieving enough runoff per scheduled feed, and did not cycle a few plain pH adjusted waterings. I had almost the same thing happen last run with autos, except they were showing signs of lockout, these photo girls are not. I must do a regular watering every 3 feeds, achieve 20% runoff with high ppm feeds, and 15% runoff at least with mild to moderate ppm's. Lesson learned, I hope I get a full run in the future without hiccups like this. UPDATE Aug 9: Big thanks to @00110001001001111O for suggesting i omit the light hanger and hang from the carabiner, I thought I was out of vertical space until this was pointed out. Hab sie jetzt umgetopft und ein paar Tage vorher schon die zwei unteren Triebe entfernt. Jetzt bleiben mir nur noch etwa 30 cm bis zur Lampe, also muss ich bald wieder anfangen, sie runterzubinden. Nächste Woche wird dann auch nochmal getoppt. Erstmal lass ich sie aber in Ruhe, damit sie sich an den neuen Topf gewöhnen kann. Und natürlich hab ich letzte Nacht das Fenster offen gelassen… jetzt ist sie ein bisschen angepisst. 😅 Aber ich denke, sie fängt sich schon wieder.

Theyve both reacted well to their topping and fimming and are really starting to take it in their stride. Its been a little cold in my room this week so recovery was a little slow at first but all seems well now. The cheese is starting to bush out and im really looking forward tonall the new tops coming through!
