🌸 Week 15 from Seed / Week 4 Flower – The Art of Defoliation 🌿 Welcome back to the journey of The White OG by Seedsman Seeds. This week marks a powerful turning point — the mid-flower defoliation — a sacred act of giving space, light, and breath to a girl who’s ready to bloom big. She’s thriving beautifully under the Future of Grow Black Series 600W system, and still running strong on the Aptus Clean Program: • Regulator • System Clean • RO Water Conditioner • All-in-One Liquid The mix lands with a pH of 5.97, an EC of 1.20, and water temp at 18.2°C — right on point. 🌬️ This week’s star event? A serious defoliation. We removed large fan leaves that were shading critical bud sites, allowing light to pour in and airflow to circulate. This isn’t just pruning — it’s breathing room. It’s strategy. It’s sculpting the future. She’s expressing herself now some funky leaf formations, even buds forming in the leaf base itself, a unique phenotype with personality. This is what makes each grow magical. Why defoliation now? • Week 4 is the sweet spot: flowers are forming, stretch is slowing, and now’s the time to open up the canopy without stressing her too much. • It increases light penetration and reduces risk of mold or pests by improving airflow. • It directs energy to the buds, not the blocked, lower leaves. And now she stands proud in her scrog net, breathing deep, stretching wide. She’s no longer hiding. She’s becoming. ⸻ Huge thanks as always to the amazing GrowDiaries community, to Seedsman, to Aptus Holland, to the Future of Grow team, To TrolMaster and to all of you: the followers, supporters, growers, learners, lovers, and even the haters — we grow together 🌱 💚 Come join the journey over on Instagram and YouTube — where the Dognabis Cup is blooming into something beautiful too. See you in the next chapter, my dear friends. Let’s grow. I was on a trip for work for 2 days, I tried my best to take care of everything before I went. They still got damaged cuz of underwatering.. also I’m not quite sure if they are underfertalized because of all the flushing for the right ph I did. They started to develop droopy yellow leaves that are pretty soft to the touch and don’t crunch up at the tips like they first did from nutrient burn. I gave them a top dress today with a mixture of 25% worm castings and 75% all mix, hopefully this will stabilise them. I would really appreciate some help in this case, as I’m not sure if it’s caused by nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn. Also I wanted to do a big defoliation and lollipoping this week, but I feel like I first should solve the nutrient problem, so I don’t start damaging the top growth.

Good morning friends of growdiaries, As you can see in the photos it is a real jungle. In bloom. 3 of the 5 plants exceeded 150 cm, I had to bend them strongly so that they remained under the lamp. For the rest you have seen, the plants are strong, robust and healthy. The central stem is really large, and having stretched from the beginning in each internode to product various branches, which are already filled with inflorescences. Let's see what comes out. Given the damned and damned fact that I will not even be able to taste the harvest, the flowering will be 100% complete

Last compost tea feeding tomorrow will be the end of week 7. I am very happy with this girl. She has massive sense even colas. She’s covered in 💎 and smells amazing. No issues of any kind. The last week and a half she’s only gotten organic teas and will only be given water for the next 7-10 days and then nothing till harvest with 36 hours of darkness

The week went very well, the plant stretched for an additional 15cm and is now showing the first proper bud-sites. Had to change the nutrient solution after day 5, as the tank was almost empty. I increased the nutrients to a 1000 ppm, which caused a tiny amount of tip burn, so will not be increasing it next week. The second scrog net helps greatly spreading out the canopy, I will continue with a very light LST during the flower as well to guarantee maximum light exposure for all bud-sites. I am enjoying this grow very much, first time in a while for me to grow photos inside and I think I will continue growing photos, it seems they are a bit more forgiving and I feel that I can take the time to really let them fill the tent. On my previous grows I usually had 3 autos in there, which would always lead to issue in regards to some plants growing quicker than others. I have a very optimistic outlook in regards to harvest, which I will keep yo myself in order to not jinx it, but as you can see it looks promising. Thanks for reading. Until next week :)

Beginning of week.. I lost count of the days.. Stupid rookie move.. I know lol.. She is doing great tho.. Roots have made it to the bottom of the cup.. I love these plants.. Cant wait to see what Ethos is all about! Even tho I'm not expecting an amaxing yield since I'm doing 12/12 from seed. Mid week.. She is beginning to sprout branches.. They are still pretty tiny but should be spittin out any day now.. Its crazy how every strain can have different leaves.. Differences in the serrated part.. Skinny.. Fat.. Long.. Short.. This girl here is pretty different than others I have grown.. I feel like Ethos is NOT going to let me down!.. End of week.. I see the branches have came out a little more.. Still kinda small still.. Looking a little asymmetrical as well.. Ugh.. But I think I read somewhere that sometimes great genetics do stupid shit like that lol.. Oh well.. The end product is what matters.. Just trying to keep her happy and healthy for now and so far so good.. Some weird discoloration on one of the leaves but thats looking more like a mutation more than anything wrong with her growing.. Can't wait to see what beauty she blossoms into!

By this time I’ve nearly completely defoliate everything below the net, and all fan leaves have been removed. I’ve stopped tucking them plant under the net as vertical growth seems to have slowed. The buds are fattening up nicely under the AGLEX 2000w cob with a belly full of Remo Nutrients

Firstly, I apologize for the lack of solid pictures! It was admittedly the last thing on my mind when harvesting, so Ive got what I’ve got haha. This has been my problem child plant from the start-albeit that had more to do with my mistakes than anything else! From the jump the one thing this strain has shown me is that it is hearty & resistant! Early on I accidentally split the stem when topping, she was stunted for awhile but came back in full effect and produced some of the largest buds this harvest! Despite frequent overwatering and humidity issues there was no sign of any rot, mold, or mildew. Overall a very strong forgiving strain that I would recommend to beginner and master growers alike! This strain required frequent defoliation. Thanks to the ScrOG method, I was able to develop an even canopy with very large, dense colas. After a full dry and trim I was very pleased with the yield, one plant netted 4.13 ounces. This plant combined with the other 3 plants/strains in the tent helped me net a total dried & trimmed 17.94 ounces! This is the first time I have ever cleared a pound, so very pleased with this harvest overall. Thank you to everyone for your comments, suggestions, and support along the way! I’ll be starting a new diary in just a few weeks so stay tuned!

-5/21//23 Start of Week --Week 9/Flower 3 -5/21/23 (Day 64/Flower 15) --Observations: still clustered, hard to see under the shade leaves --Changes: started giving nutrients in waterings, added molasses to watering (today only) --Comments: don't really know what it looks like under the canopy because of how clustered everything is. started giving nutrients in watering along with spraying twice daily, will stop spraying at the end of flower week 4. doing heavy defoliation at the end of this week, excited to see what it looks like under the canopy. -5/27/23 (Day 70/Flower 21) --Observations: large quantity of bud nodes revealed by defoliation --Changes: heavy defoliation, repositioned some guiders --Comments: this experimental grow style is doing far better than I expected. heavy defoliation revealed a sea of pre-flower beneath the canopy, far exceeding my expectations of what could not be seen before. moved some of the guiders to help with spacing of smaller branches so that everything get good lighting. sent is still mild and hard to distinguish from the lemon basil, should get stronger within the next few weeks. -5/27/23 End of Week

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Hope you all enjoy an are ready for another amazing productive week ! Peace , Love , an positive vibes to y’all Cheers LetsGrowwww!!! 😶‍🌫️💨💨💨💨

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.
