Due to prolonged bad weather, I decided to harvest them to avoid mold and other damage. There were three of us, and it took around 6 hours to trim about 80% of both plants. I ended up with a yield of 205 grams dry per plant. I'm more than satisfied with the plants. For my first grow, I couldn't be happier.

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. Week 7 is going smoothly so far. The flooding issue has subsided and the clones seem to be really taking off now. I'm excited to get back from vacation and really see my girls and my reservoir conditions after a 2 week hiatus.

Day 15 since seed touched soil. Ducks are very very very slow to develop. Maybe slowest strain i ever grew. Most look nitrogen overfed , dont want to grow at all ... Will be forced to leave them for one more week at home. Other strain goes out this friday . Autumn not far ... Not a big hope with this one ;))) Day 19. They went out !!! Hope summer is long .... Harvest time for my solo cups girls 😉

Other than having to remove the Buttercream gelato from the room and harvest it because it went Hermie everything else is going well. All plants are fattening nicely, air flow is good, there are some sings of cupping on the leaves of Blueberry and Maui Waui, I rearranged the Scrog and pulled the larger buds lower to help combat this. Cheese has some amber on it already, which lines up well with the timeline for harvest of my last cheese plant which was 15% amber at the start of 8 weeks. I will let this one go a bit longer if possible so I have a slightly higher cbd version of cheese to go with my high thc batch I harvested last crop. Blueberry will likely come down a week after that and Maui could go up to the full 10 weeks from what I am seeing. Added Silica, Enzymes and Molasses to my feeding regimen. I add the silica to tap water mix it and then put air stones in the resevoir, I let that sit for a few hours then add my Micro, Gro and Bloom, then add Cal Mag and Sensizyme and Molasses. I use a drill with a mixer attachment to mix it well. This really helps with the molasses. I find if I add about a tablespoon of fish fert to that mix I end up with 6.5 PH. Fish fertilizer stinks but the plants love it.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2201 girl and she's certainly on a roll! When I checked on her today her medium was still moist so I'll let her go and check her tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure her medium doesn't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch her grow! 🤩 12/17- Yesterday I watered her and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen her branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched her grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered her with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses added which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. She is really starting to take off now, a sure sign her roots are beginning to get well developed, and I'm thinking of going ahead and topping her in the next day or so. 12/21- Well, yesterday I went ahead and topped this girl! Hopefully she won't stress out over this and starts shooting out those secondary branches. Today I watered her with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into her drip pan so she can draw it up into her medium, the rest I applied to the top of the medium just to moisten it. Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and she should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Hola! Antes que nada, quería pedir disculpas por no poder continuar las semanas de vegetación como correspondía, pero por cuestiones personales se me hizo imposible. Las fotos corresponden al ultimo dia de la semana 13 de la planta, el día 6/02/2021. En todo este periodo de crecimiento vegetativo realice mainlining, como muestro en la semana 5 subida, y luego deje que las dos ramas se desarrollen hasta tener 5 nudos cada una y realice en ambos extremos una poda apical, o topping. Luego, con tecnicas de LST fui torciendo las ramas para que vayan creciendo mas o menos parejas, pero al ser un cultivo outdoor obviamente esto no sucede tan prolijamente como en un indoor. Mas alla de eso, estoy contenta con el resultado: 10 ramas principales y muchas pequeñas en la vegetación. Fui haciendo defoliaciones suaves, y ahora le tocará la ultima antes de que empiece a florecer. Con respecto a esto, la planta sexó finales de enero, pero recién ahora esta comenzando a mostrar signos de que esta por empezar a florar, así que la semana que viene será la primera de flora. Esto por mas que parezca raro suele ser común por lo menos en esta region, muchas veces las plantas sexan antes y no muestran signos de comenzar a florecer hasta unas cuantas semanas después, nada que ver a como ocurre cuando uno controla el fotoperiodo. Por suerte la temporada viene siendo mas seca de lo normal, y poco lluviosa, por lo que tuve problemas con trips pocos días. En general cuando tocan veranos lluviosos se vuelve muy complicado tratar las plagas. En particular en mi patio suelo tener problemas con trips, pero no de otras plagas ya que las plantas de acompañamiento son suficiente para espantarlas. En las fotos notaran que el tronco principal esta partido en dos, esto sucedió cuando se le cayo un peso importante encima hace 4 semanas, pero con unas rápidas ataduras y la correcta nutrición la planta sano al 100%. Esto ha sido todo. Cualquier sugerencia es bienvenida. 💪 Saludos!! 😘
