Sour Jealousy Auto FastBuds 2025 Outside Grow
Week 12 June 15-21 FLOWER 6
Well, it was another rainy week. The Almanac pics show that our month to date rainfall is 3.11 inches and 2/3 of it was in the last week. The expected weather is supposed to be sunny next week. The anticipated sunny days are a mixed blessing. The temperatures for the next 10 days will exceed 90f and with this heat the humidity often exceeds 70-80%. This means the” feels like” temperatures exceed 100F, Checking Sour Jealousy today, I saw some bud rot, I treated her with Arbor fungicide to stop the spread. Fast Buds says 60 days of flower. She went into flower May 18 so it has only been a month and needs an additional 30 days or so. Fingers crossed she can withstand any more fungus spread. I would really hate to lose another plant.
I pulled off 2 caterpillars from her top and side buds. One leaf at the top looks like it was eaten.
Sour Jealousy Auto is a bright sativa dominant powerhouse, packing 29% THC and reaching heights up to 63 inches (150cm). I only grew one seed and it may be an outlier, but my Sour Jealousy is only 18 inches. Based on her short stature, she will not yield anything close to what FastBuds indicated as exceptionally high yields (up to 600g/m2 indoors and more outdoors depending on pot size. She is in a 5 gallon Air pot which is sufficient for autoflowers. They also indicated that odor is strong and herbs like mint, basil, marigold etc will help mask the scent. So far mine has minimal odor. Based on these differences observed so far, I wonder if this seed was correctly labeled? I’m genuinely looking of the effects this strain provides with 29% THC- a creative and uplifting high with energetic and euphoric effects. Despite its Indica-driven genetics the accompanying physical relaxation induces some hunger and sleepiness, but not much sedation. Medical patients hail Sour Jealousy Auto for treating chronic stress, depression, and ADHD.

July 27: staring week 7 and she seems to be preflowering but I’m going to force flower this auto by sticking it in the dark garage with my photoperiod plants. The change to 12 h of darkness for a couple weeks should kick it into flowering mode.
I’ve seen a few growers commenting that their Auto Overdose wasn’t auto flowering and I don’t want to wait any longer to find out. It’s the end of July and things need to be flowering by now to finish in time before winter.
The stem I broke a few days ago is showing signs of life and looks like it will more or less recover. Update: Changed my mind and removed stem as it was slowing overall growth. Cut the loss and move forward. C’est La vie, etc.
July 28: plant has an okay shape considering I broke a stem. Nice lower branches came up after the plant was topped. Looks promising.
July 31: looking good. Removed a single large fan leaf at the top that was shading too many bud sites.

She took off like a rocket. This week she’s definitely growing day by day. I bought a cctv to monitor my plants while I’m not at home.
She loves the nutrients I’m giving her. I’ll probably grow her for about 1.5 feet in height and flip her until she can cover the entire 2x2 tent. We’ll see in the next weeks

So heen away a while not too sure what day I'm on but the weeks are correct lol... photo and vid dump I'm getting super excited at how well it's doing.
Dropped in abit of calmag to the feed this week as its was showing signs of deficiency.

The scrog net - installed by the autocorrect person as it turns out - still sloppy but doing its job.
Turned down the power on the quantum board. Is intensely of the light the same as distance? Help!

Nothing special this week. I added another light, now there's a light for every plant. From the photos you can see that they're not growing equaly so I'm treating them seperatly from now on. Otherwise 2 are floweing and the third will begin flowering probably this week as it's already showing signs.

In the end it even turned a bit purple, probably because I had it in the living room for the last 2 weeks.
It smells very different from the other Honey Cream.
The smell is more fruity.... it is now standing to dry in my box
after dry, theres total of 35 gramms

Ok, so bigger news this week, I got rid of one of the plants in the tent as it was an auto vs fast flower :/ and I performed a bunch of LST and some Defoliation to all the plants. This plant was not to bad in terms of lst needs and defoliating needs as much as the other ones. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week.
Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through.

This was another fun week. I did some defoliation to open up all the bud sites. That took a little longer than I was expecting. This is the largest plant I have ever grown, and I'm learning there are some differences in growing a big girl, the first being she takes longer to defoliate. The second is the amount of water she drinks. I'm watering her a full gallon ever other day and she is taking it all.

Everything is looking great !
Cheese is nearly done, it is starting to show amber.
Maui is very happy and smells amazing, it just glistens with tri-chromes.
Buttercream is doing well but I think it will take a week or two longer than the others.
Blueberry is looking awesome very large thick dense buds. No Blueberry smell but a very strong plant otherwise.
*Update
Buttercream gelato started throwing Banana's so I removed it from the room. I trimmed it down and did not notice any other signs of hermaphroditism but I will still harvest the plant now just to be safe.
There have been no issues with light or heat fluctuations at all, nothing that would trigger it to Hermie that I can think of which makes me think genetics are the issue.
I have One other Buttercream going that was cloned before this one went into flower. If it hermies late in the bloom like this one has I will remove the strain from my rotation.
I am not particularly pleased with the structure of Buttercream for scrog in any case.
The plant that I took down had very large bud sites but were no where near as dense as the other strains in the tent.

Watering every other day, using left over RO water from last feed with a little more phosphorous and potassium. and cal mag and fulvic and molasses added... EC 1.5 PH 6.2 Temp 20. Runoff was within 500 ppm higher than input (yikes). (still going for same input & runoff😒); its a dam goal ! These last couple of weeks seem to take forever. Praying to the ganga gods😇 that it finishes OK.
March 29/2021 Brix is increasing, highest brix is 14 on 2 plants, brix of 10 on 5 plants, Brix of 9 on 3 plants, Brix of 8 on 1 plant, Brix of 7 on 1 plant.

12/8/2019 - WOW the girls are stinking up the house! I love it but, the wife does not. Flushed each plant with 6 cups of water with Flawless Finish. One more flush on Wednesday or Thursday and harvest next weekend.
12/9/2019 - The trichome's are soo long.
Way better than my last grow.

12/10/2019 - I took a microscope of my lamest girl to check out the trichomes and this might be the problem, the bug feeding on it. Watch the video and let me know what bug it is!. After research it is a Thirp larva.
12/11/2019 - did some defoliation tonight. I should have done more throughout the grow a little more.
12/12/2019 - The last flush has been done. Sunday with be the chop chop!

Great week. Plants growing nicely. Healthy leaves nice color. Main stem is quite thick, LST was a bit more difficult with main stem. So far so good.
