Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk update 5th Jan 2020 11th week of veg over and done with. Ive done quite a bit since the last update as far as this girl is concerned 1st of all i erected a greenhouse that covers all of my Photo period plants. and secondly I transplanted the Pineapple chunk out of the pot she was in and put her straight into the ground so I'm expecting and hoping that she will explode once the stretch starts in about 5 weeks or so. The soil I moved her into is really nice and fertile as it was used to grow winter vegetables and Broad beans. The growing of legumes can benefit the soil by bringing nitrogen to the surface to be made available to anything else growwing in the same soil. I gave the area I transplanted her into a good dose of Azospirillum and Mycorrhizal innoculants after she went into the ground. Thankyou for checking out my update see you next week 👍

Week 5 begins! Divine storm 1 & 2 are doing well, however DS2 is a bit hungrier. I believe that was do to her close location to the fan moving air around the bottom of the canopy. Increased feeding to 5 liters per plant and did some defoliation of the yellowing leaves. Moved the ladies to the other side of the room for the rest of the grow. Thanks for stopping by 👽🌳🔥

The plant is monster even though I topper at the 6th note she is 51in tall and smell nice fantastic today I brought them outside the tent to give them a good water down in order to drain out any excessive buildup in the soil. I will continue to update but thank you for reading have a happy grow.

But growing started to look more and more like work because i was more busy with programming my controllers for the ph / humidity / lights / co2 / temperature. Also the realization that i have 2 children and my own house made me nervous for the authorities because where i live growing is not allowed. So i decided to grow smaller where i previously had 200x180x200 space i opted for 70x70x160 with the result that i can only grow 1 strain at a time. The intention is to remain self-sufficient in this way and still be able to exchange or give away something here and there at a party. Although I am sponsored I will not be able to grow every strain because not every strain can deliver the result I need to remain self-sufficient. If you know of an auto strain or photo strain that takes at least 11 to 15 weeks I would like to know so that I can grow it in the future and of course I will try to set a record for that grown strain. Because during the 4 grows that I can do per year I can only try to achieve a record since I cannot show you multiple strains at once. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great week, the Glueberry OG Auto is finally in full blown flower at week 8 and I believe her vertical growth is just about done at 36" which is about perfect for this setup. She may grow a couple more inches but I'm hoping not too much because I have about 16" between her and the light. She is getting straight flower nutrients now as I transitioned her slowly over this past week. She is now feeding on silica, cal mag, and GH maxibloom. I will start to add some GH PK booster later this week slowly. I use GH KoolBloom to boost the PK of the maxibloom and continue with that mixture until I start to flush her around 4-5 days before harvest. I also have the Medic Grow Spectrum X set at 100% in the F1 Flower cycle, and I am now up to 90 minutes per day of UV/IR before lights off. My PH meter got a little crazy this week, but I think I caught it in time as I didn't really see any spots on the lower leaves. If I suspect my meter is off, I just test some of my well water because it has been steady at 6.3 since I moved in like 10 years ago. I will probably do one last light defoliation in the next couple of days and that will be about it other than keeping the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old.
