Date: June 29, 2025 Stage: Flowering Growth: Plants have stopped vertical growth. The tallest one is now 75 cm, the shortest 63 cm. Buds are swelling and flowering is progressing well. Health: All plants are in excellent condition. Lower leaves have started to yellow due to the flowering stage and have been removed. Smell: Very intense aroma, noticeable even from a distance. Watering: Almost daily due to high temperatures – approx. 7 litres total for the four plants. Feeding: Alternating between ATA Terra Max (5ml/L) and plain water. Sunlight & Weather: Another very hot and sunny week. Max temperatures around 35°C. Notes: A small praying mantis was spotted on one of the plants.

Week 5 of Flower is over and my Papaya Cake girl is showing her true colors and smells! She is in full bloom and pumpin trichomes like a Queen. Report: I’m seeing a “tiny” bit of nutrient deficiency pop up but nothing to be alarmed about. She been getting straight 6.2 ph water and nothing else from here on out. Shout out to the YouTube channel “Welcome to the Grow tent” and “Growweedeasy.com for pointing out a few mistakes I’ve made along the way and saving my ass when I thought it was a Nute defi but was just a root bound plant. Their reccs have made a HUGE diff in my yields and overall plant structure. The last run with this strain was nothing like this girl. The smell in the morning around 8:40 and 6:40pm in the evening is something you could write a book about.🎂 Your nose picks up faint odor of papaya and vanilla wedding cake. Hence the lineage she came from would make the most sense. Do you talk to your plants? I do and I know they are paying me back for the CO2 they need. I’m def enjoying the fruits of my labor as they say. And I hope you enjoy the pics. —— How I would rate her overall —— Node stacking: 7/10 Cola structure: 8/10 (more time to improve) Smell: 9/10 Colors of bud sites: 9.5/10 Size of buds: 8/10 (this will never be a 10😎) Overall Appearance: 9/10 Taste: TBD

Shes one of the stand outs, shes different from the first pheno already in terms of leaf structure everything seems a bit thicker. The buds on the first one are skinny kinda heavy torpedoes I love them it's a crowd favroite. My ph meter broke and Hannah Instruments sent me a new probe. When I got it and checked run off everything was fucked up so I did a heavy flush on everything and a light feed. Found some shit called Gnatrol on Ebay for the fungus gnats larvae added to the mixidk if it will work tho. Pictures were taken on Day 7 of Bloom

Whoops.. Lol.. Forgot to update at the beginning of the week also.. But here is what I got... Mid week.. She is doing good.. I defoliated a little toward the end of last week.. She kinda looked like shit, but about 2 - 3 days after she filled herself in nicely.. I flipped to 12/12 also.. Not counting flower weeks till the actually flowers have began forming.. Makes more sense, if you ask me.. End of week.. Not much to report on.. She has popped out a few calyxes and pistils.. Not many yet.. This next week she should start stretching! This is going to be a very interesting grow for sure... On to the next!!!...

d43 - 9.26 - Recovering quite nicely. Was able do just about all the training and trimming I want to before I switch to flower around the end of week 8. My Fast White Widows are definitely more ground hugging, while the Black Sugars are reachers, but still manageable. They have all been trained to best fit the recovery of each individual plant, so my canopy definitely isn't going to be even 😅Nonetheless, grateful they have been resilient little buggers and happy for the chance to take them flower, regardless of whether I'll have the picture perfect tent. 🙏 D47 - 9.30 - I lied. I had to train a little more. One BS cola was really outgrowing the rest, and the opposite side of plant had taken for damage from bug treatment two weeks ago so i HST'd it back and spread the other. Still planning to flower them in 7-14 days!

Added CalMag. Day #35 - topping 2/3 Da5 #38 -decided to stop using top feeding. roots are strong enough to continue growth itself. Clones have recovered making roots and now standing by itself. Plant responded very well to adding of CalMag, decide to proccede with topping (2/3). Algae start to form on the top feed tube. removed for cleaning and decided to stop. top feed get good results for the first weeks for root development but later is not so relevant, so decided to stop to see the results.

# Passion Fruitz by Zamnesia 🌱🍓 ## Germination Week | Sometimes the Second Attempt Wins Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome to another new journey. As some of you may have noticed, I've recently changed the way I'm documenting my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary whenever multiple plants are being grown. This allows me to continue documenting every stage of development while selecting the best photographs from each week and keeping the documentation organized. The goal remains exactly the same as always: To create an honest, educational, and complete record from seed to harvest while sharing both successes and mistakes along the way. And today's diary starts with a small lesson. Because sometimes things don't go according to plan. --- ## The First Attempt For this run, my original plan was exactly the same as with the other genetics. Same germination method. Same environment. Same process. Same care. Yet sometimes growing likes to remind us that nature does not always follow our plans. The first Passion Fruitz seed germinated successfully, but somewhere during the early stages I believe I made a mistake. Looking back, I suspect I overwatered the coco starter plug. The seed never established itself properly and the attempt ultimately failed. And honestly? That's part of growing. Every grower experiences it sooner or later. The important thing is not pretending mistakes never happen. The important thing is learning from them. --- ## Attempt Number Two Fortunately, I still wanted to explore this genetic, so I decided to give Passion Fruitz another chance. A second seed was germinated using exactly the same Cannakan system that I've been using throughout this run. Once again, the results were excellent. Healthy taproot. Fast germination. Strong early vigor. This time, however, I decided to make one small change. Instead of placing the seed into a coco starter plug, I planted it directly into Plagron Lightmix. And honestly? The response was fantastic. Within a very short time she was emerging strongly and showing exactly the kind of healthy development we hope to see from a young seedling. Sometimes the smallest adjustments make the biggest difference. --- ## Germination Using the Cannakan System For germination I used the Cannakan system. For those unfamiliar with it, the Cannakan is a compartmentalized germination container that allows multiple cultivars to be organized separately while maintaining a stable environment. Each section can be individually labeled, making it extremely practical when working with multiple genetics simultaneously. The seed was placed inside using only plain water. No nutrients. No additives. No stimulants. Just water. Within approximately 24 hours a healthy taproot had emerged and the seed was ready for planting. Simple. Clean. Effective. Exactly what we hope to see. --- ## Why Only Water? One question that often appears during germination is: "Why not feed the seed immediately?" The answer remains simple. The seed already contains everything required for its first stage of development. Nature prepared that package long before we arrived. Inside that shell are the energy reserves needed to establish roots and begin life. At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to do exactly what it was designed to do. The objective is not to feed the plant. The objective is simply to wake it up. Water is enough. --- ## Environment Environmental conditions remained the same as the rest of the run. Temperatures stayed around 26–27°C. Humidity remained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier. Airflow was intentionally kept very gentle. The objective at this stage is creating a stable environment where the seedling can establish roots and begin growing without unnecessary stress. --- ## Lighting Lighting during germination remained intentionally soft. Young seedlings do not require intense light levels. The goal is healthy establishment rather than aggressive growth. Once properly established, this girl will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system alongside the rest of the garden. Like all plants in this project, she will be grown under a 12/12 light schedule from seed to harvest. A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time. --- ## First Observations So far, everything is progressing beautifully. Fast germination. Healthy development. Strong emergence. Good vigor. And perhaps most importantly: A second chance well taken. Sometimes a grow diary begins with a perfect start. Sometimes it begins with a lesson. This one happened to begin with both. --- ## Looking Ahead Although Passion Fruitz started slightly behind the rest of the garden, she will quickly join the journey and continue alongside her sisters throughout the run. Over the coming weeks we'll follow her development, structure, growth patterns, and whatever unique characteristics she decides to reveal. Because every seed carries potential. And sometimes all that potential needs is a second opportunity. Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along on another seed-to-harvest adventure. Grower's Love everyone. 🌱💚
