Mentha de Croco – Week 18 from Seed | Week 7 Flower By Terpyz Mutant Genetics
We’ve entered the final chapters of this mutant tale, and what a phenomenal story it has become. These girls are now drinking only water as they near the end of their flowering cycle, and they are doing so with elegance, uniqueness, and a presence that’s hard to put into words.
Their structure is wild and bold, true to the mutant spirit, and this week we’ve witnessed them begin to cannibalize themselves, pulling in all internal resources as they approach harvest readiness. Their colors are shifting, their leaves are curling with purpose, and their energy is focused deep within the buds.
Each phenotype continues to express in its own voice — no two look alike, and yet they sing together in perfect harmony. 🌿
And then there’s the terpene profile, absolutely outrageous! A heavy chemical note that feels like fresh nail polish, with a twist of gassy sharpness that fills the tent with that unforgettable “mutant funk.” It’s strange, beautiful, pungent, and… perfect.
We’re not harvesting just yet, maybe next week, but the excitement is undeniable. This is the moment where patience and vision meet, and where every subtle change is a whisper from the plant saying: “It’s almost time.”

On day 1 I transplanted 2 BB clones into 3 gal smart pots with coco coir. I watered them in with veg formula and set up my blumat watering system with week 1 flower nutes. I raised PPFD to 600-700.
On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.0. The rez is 823 ppm. The tops are 16.5" from the grow light. The blumats have not started watering yet and I will monitor to ensure it goes smoothly. I have the blumats set at 1.25 carrots on left plant and 1 carrot on right plant. The average PPFD of my 16 tops is 703 PPFD. I increased temps to 85 day 81 night to get leaf surface around 80 f during day.
On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 782 ppm. The blumats have started watering and I will monitor closely over the next few days.
On day 4 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.1. The rez is 717ppm.
On day 5 the reservoirs PH is steady at 6.1. The rez is 706 ppm. The highest top is 15.25" from the light. I defoliated to bring in more air and light to deeper into the canopy. I increased the flow rate of blumat by .5 carrot on the right plant as it was a little to dry for my liking. The Clones are preforming well.
On day 6 the reservoir PH is going down so I adjusted up from 6.0 to 6.2. The rez is 730 ppm. The highest cola is 14.75" from the light. The left plant had a runaway so I reduced blumat by 1 carrot. I increased flow of blumat on right plant by .5 carrot as it is still drier than I would like.
On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.0. The highest cola is 14.25". I reset rez with nutes.

Week 2 Mr.B's Six shooter
so this one is doing fine, still no water needed since last week, literally no maintenance required, just spraying the soil with 0.25 ml / 250ml organic amino acid concentrate. You know how canna boost smells like soy sauce, well this one smells like that kinda except when i open it my whole basement smells like a chineese wok restaurant lol . Six shooter looks like i got three phenos , this one is an indica pheno looks like , let's see how she grows ! added cal mag to the foliar spray, once only this week, on day 5. amino spray on the soil is daily, until the 10 day mark. still only going to be plain water and secondary nutrients like CO2 and micronutrients . that's the plan anyway. VPD tappering off towards 1.1 as humidity is creeping down from a high of 42 to the high thirties now. going to plant my in soil ppm reader before i water for the first time since transplant lol... maybe not even this week ! low maintenance? will update 🚀

2da semana de flora y cambio positivo para las quebradas 😅 Blue Moby ni se enteró del supercroping accidental lo que si quedo con baja estatura que las demás. moby dick se recupero de la arrancada de la.punta principal 💪 viene un poco atrasada en flora en comparación a ww y bm pero viene remontando. Whithe widow viene súper bien y florando con cambios día a día 😍 está semana defolie las 3 por última vez y agregue una segunda malla de scrog para evitar el error anterior de quebrarla queriendola entrenar!

Grow diary 11 Stage 4
Days 31-40
Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it.
Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves.
Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week.
The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. I now think the west coast o.g is the nicest looking one in the grow.

So this was my first ever Tiny Pot 👈 wasn't sure if I could even do it 🤔 But instead it was a blast , she grew even better then expected , so much so I may do another 👍
She was a hungry plant the hole cycle, figuring out her feeding became a great learning tool , I gained alot of experience growing this one 😀
I used rain water the hole grow , to which she required feeding daily , some day twice 👈
👉I added 4 straws in week 4 to help with air flow to the roots and it worked 💪 So check week 4 to see what I did 😀

Day 22 and there have been significant changes in the size of the fan leaves. The stems are looking much fatter and more sturdy as well. Cheech has her 5 nodes, perfect and ready for topping. I am going to put off topping her though until Venezia is ready and that should be in the coming couple of days. Other than that, changed water and adjusted the lights about 3cm higher to keep them at 60cm from the plant. Again I left the Milwaukee PH controller to run for about an hour to get the PH down to 6.0
Day 25 and ladies have been topped at node 4, keeping node 3 and cleaning node 1 & 2. Light LST on Cheech’s axillary buds which are already well developed
Day 27 - following up with gentle LST twice daily, tightening up the formation of the mainline. I’ve noticed what seems to be a bit of stress on the leaves of Cheech (see photos) which is affecting both plants under the same light. So I’ve moved the light up a few centimetres and rechecked and adjusted the PH which was at around 6.4.

welcome to 📅 Day 8 of flower 7/12/2021 they are growing very well and are drinking lots 10 gal a week I'm hoping that they stop the stretch and start to fatted up as I am running out of space lol. next update on thurs till then happy growing and as always keep your stick on the ice 🏒
I would like to say a few words about Mars Hydro. the TS 1000 is a great light and I love the fact that the power supply is capable of being separated from the light and located outside of the tent to keep the heat down. I also like the fact that you can control the light intensity and daisy chain with another light witch is what I plan on doing.

I really enjoyed this strain to grow, did a little mistake and flipped them to 12/12 too early (I anticipated too much the stretch and with the mainlining technique, stretch was not that bigger). Amazing smell, full of trichomes. And probably next time I won't use the tabs from biotabs because you can't really control how much nutriments your plant will have, but the others products from biotabs worked really well!

V23, riego pH 6.2 y EC 1.5, se realizó una pequeña defoliación y Lollipop, las plantas están mejor que nunca, creciendo al ritmo esperado y hojas apuntando hacia la luz, cómo "rezando al cielo" mostrando fotosíntesis al máximo, plantas felices.
V24, se realizó LST a las ramas con buen crecimiento. He notado que son más difíciles de entrenar, son algo más duros los tallos, por lo que les hice un pequeño masaje antes de doblarlas para evitar que se rompan.

These girls have been thriving and growing at a fast rate🐎😬 we started the girls on canna a&b on a feed - break - feed ratio using nutes with every feeding 😬
The girls got 5 nodes and I was going to wait till the 6th node appeared but decided to top just now, as you can see in the photo, this is where I cut making sure to leave some stalk in between the nodes just to make sure the new growth sites do not get damaged👌🏻
The reason we top is because by damaging the main stem, topping encourages the plant to spread energy growing many colas instead of just one ☝️... and you can never have enough colas😎

D21 - Start of week three of veg for the second girl, while it is only the start of week two for the first girl as I had to replant her. I will probably do the first topping on the second girl this week but I'll see in a few days where she's at. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 5.9. A bit on the low side as I used too much pH down but it'll be fine for one watering.
D24 - Yesterday I switched my light from the seedlings program to the veg program, and I'm now reading around 500-600 PPFD across the canopy. On the high end for sure, so let's see how the girls handle it.
However, the daytime temp in the tent jumped up to around 30 degrees C after I switched the lights. #tinytentproblems
I also added some support to #1 as she has a relatively thin stem but large leaves, so the oscillating fan keeps knocking her around. The second girl also initially had a slender stem, so I guess it is their genetics. (#1 is 12 cm tall and 15 cm wide, while #2 is 20 cm tall and 35 cm wide.)
I will need to top the second girl this week as she grows a lot each day. I'm considering mainlining her but haven't made up my mind yet.
I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 6.5.
D25 - A couple of days ago, switching the lights to the veg program made the cover crop explode and turn into a jungle.
I decided to trim down the red clover to increase the airflow around the girls and reduce water use.
I watered the girls only yesterday, but they were already thirsty again, so I think that the clover was drinking quite a bit as well.
After cutting back the clover, I gave each girl around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.5.
D27- Today was the last day in week three of veg for the second girl and the last day in week two for the first girl. I really should have topped the second girl already, so that will need to be done as soon as possible. She is 26 cm tall and 38 cm wide, while the first girl is 13 cm tall and 27 cm wide.
Yesterday, I removed the support from the first girl as her stem had gotten more robust, so it was no longer necessary.
Today, I started brewing compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, kelp meal, biochar, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, and molasses) which I will leave overnight and feed to the girls tomorrow.

Skipped a week in my journal due to travels.
Had my neighbor water my plants.
Having some minor early deficiencies with my photoperiod plants (particularly the chem brulee)... so I decided to go ahead and give everything a solid feeding of Foop Bloom 1, 2 and Sweetener. This is their first ever bottled feeding. Have been running on supersoil and a prayer.
Also top dressed everything and mulched with rice straw to help with the soil drying out a bit too quickly.
Leaves have been yellowing on all three. Mostly relegated to the interior of the plants.
Chem Brulee is looking a bit too yellow overall, as well.
French Macaron is a 66in. Chem Brulee is 56in. Pineapple Meatball is 45in.
I have a sneaking suspicion that my neighbor didn't water them quite enough while I was gone.
Will probably continue with the Foop feedings... probably at least once per week. Don't want to overdo it.
Also top dressed with my flowering top dress mix and mulched all plants with a thin layer of rice straw.
8/4 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap
8/5 Sprayed with Gravenstein Apple FFJ and OHN
8/6 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap (this will likely be the last time I spray with Neem Oil, as I don't want residual oils as buds start swelling. Also fed 1/4 strength FOOP to ensure we head off any deficiencies.

Originally I didn’t think I had much to update until I compared the plants photos at 7 days. The ff3’s have definitely responded better to their new home than the neighboring ff2. They are definitely getting a thicker stalk and adding more foliage. I started the week with a light dose of flora flex nutrients which is by weight rather than tea or tablespoon. They call for 1 gram of the v1 & v2 per gallon of water and I opted for 1 for the entire 6 gallons. But with no response I adjusted the ph and added a small amount of Cali magic and flora grow. On my previous rockwool multi time per day feeding I would have expected these to be twice the size at two weeks. Hopefully we get some explosive growth soon.

Week 10 - Fifth Week of Flower
The Donutz tent is stepping into its fifth week of flower with some exciting developments and a few surprises. The plants are thriving, and the vibes remain immaculate as the grow progresses.
Key Updates:
Purple Phenos: 3-4 of the plants are starting to show stunning purple hues in their buds and sugar leaves. The color shift adds a beautiful contrast to the tent and hints at the unique expressions within the Donutz genetics.
Different Phenotypes: While most of the plants are stacking up nicely, 1-2 phenos are a bit on the thinner side with less bud density. It’s a reminder of the natural variability in genetics, but there’s still time for them to fill out in the coming weeks.
Environment & Care:
Stable Conditions: Temperature, watering (reverse osmosis), and overall care are dialed in perfectly. The plants are enjoying a consistent, stress-free environment with plenty of love.
Healthy Growth: The rest of the tent is looking strong, with vibrant buds and trichome development continuing to ramp up.
Observations:
The purple phenos are a standout feature this week, bringing extra visual appeal to the tent.
Even the thinner phenos are showing healthy structure and potential to develop further before harvest.
Trichome production is increasing, and the tent is starting to radiate that sweet, sticky aroma.
Next Steps:
Continue monitoring the thinner phenos to ensure they’re getting enough light and nutrients.
Maintain stable environmental conditions and nutrient levels to support bud development.
Keep a close eye on trichomes as they mature, watching for any signs of ripening as the grow approaches the final stretch.
The Donutz are flourishing, and the tent is alive with color, aroma, and promise. The Florida Gang grind is paying off big time — the finish line is in sight!
