Apr 23: Germinating in Kannabia petri dish with thermometer and towels. It is a nice simple germination system. I’ve always found just soaking seeds in water on a heating mat works great, but this germinator looks nice and easy too. Amnesia Haze GO Fast should be a good grow. Starting two seeds to pick the better one. Apr 27: transplanted sprouted seeds into starter soil in peat pots. I’ve never been a fan of germinating seeds using paper towels because I usually forget to keep them moist but not saturated. Also sprouting weed seeds in a glass of water is so easy and foolproof. The Sproutly germination kit from Kannabia is a smartly designed simple device. A petri dish with an accurate thermometer so you can keep it at 22-24 C. The biggest tip for starting seeds, including things like peppers and tomatoes, is to get a heat mat - totally worth it. The last video shows how I do seed priming with ethylene gas given off from a couple of apples. There was a scientific paper i saw in a news story somewhere that explains it. The gas helps promote or regulate the gene expression in the growing seedlings, but a key trick is that it should only be applied to the sprouted seeds just before they are exposed to light. Been doing seed priming the last two years, and yes it works.

Start of day 21 of flower, cleared out the growth under the trellis and removed a lot of fan leaves on the canopy to make some more room for smaller budding sites and for airflow. Going to get another set of the SpiderFarmer GrowR 80 red light strips for better coverage.

I finally received the new 1000w Spider farmer new light, the AC infinity extractor and the humidifier, I’m loving them and also the plants. I moved the light to 18 inches same intensity 50%, they are grown very fast, I’m really excited. I also did water changes to all of them and I’m now using 4 ML of hydrogen instead of 3 ML. I ordered Root drip of FF but looks like they are in back ordered, will see when it arrives.

So far this week I am starting to germinate 4 seeds. 2 are blue dream matic and the other 2 are pineapple Express auto from Fast Bud genetics. I also did a leak test on my diy undercurrent rdwc set up. I should have seedlings by the end of the week. Update 1. Both blue dream have 1/2inch tap roots and 1 pineapple Express has a 1/4 inch tap root. The other one has just opened up. Hopefully that doesnt mean they are going to be slow growers. Update 2. Sorry I dont have any more pictures this week. I dropped my phone and now my camera doesn't work. The 2 blue dream matic are about an inch tall and in rock wool. The 2 pineapple Express auto have not sprouted yet. The tap roots are slowly getting longer. I think it may be the temp of the seed starter. I purchased a seedling mat and have them on it. So hopefully I will have 2 more sprouts. I also have been fighting with fixing the leaks in the buckets. So I bought some flex seal spray and it worked!

A very quiet week, little work. It's an indica-dominant variety with short, compact plants and wide branches (a bushy structure), which explains its slow growth. This week we stopped using the grow fertilizer and started using the bloom fertilizer. I also got rid of the humidifier; space is limited and I don't give it that much importance in the plant room anyway. As you can see from the temperature and humidity chart, something went wrong; I forgot to plug in the heaters :-( Una semana muy tranquila, poco trabajo. Es una variedad con dominancia índica y su estructura son plantas bajitas, compactas y con ramas anchas (estructura arbustiva) y por ello su crecimiento lento. Esta semana dejamos de abonar con grow y empezamos con el bloom. También me deshice del humidificador, el espacio es limitado y en flora no le doy tampoco tanta importancia. Como se puede observar en la tabla de temperatura y humedad algo no fue bien, el caso que olvidé enchufar los calefactores :-(

Day 51, 4th of November 2020: The 3rd day since the lamp switched to be 12/12. I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plants remain in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... They look good and strech is on the way..... Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;)

Weekly update on these beautiful frost covered girls. They're smelling like a dessert shop. I'd say really close for a few and the other half maybe another week or two. Happy Growing

I chopped one of the cherry poppers and the papaya frosting they where averaging 30% amber throughout. (Calyxes not sugar leaves) this for me was a bit to far into amber but for some reason they matured a lot quicker then the rest. The rest are all pretty much all amber other then one of the jaw breakers should be ready by the end of the week I hope 💪

3/11 🍓🍑 They were a little dry this morning, so I gave them a gallon of water split between the four of them using the light schedule feed🎄 3/12 Z🍓🍓🦍 strawberry and strawberry gorilla are starting to get very tall. They’re becoming huge. I’m gonna keep them at 91 W maximum that might even be a little high. It’s nice to know. They don’t take as much light as I thought along time ago. They really look good. this is the first time I’ve used 2 gallon pots so I have to remember to water more often and spray the bag with neem oil. I can’t tell if it’s runoff salts or if it is some sort of white fungus that’s not good on the outside of the bag, either way, if I spray everything with neem oil before I water including the soil, NO the plants just the soil and the bag makes a huge difference.🎄👍 3/13🍓🦍🍑💦 💦plus silica after about 12 hours, they are looking really good. They’re actually dry again. I’m gonna do watering tomorrow. The CBD plant is going completely different than any other one. It’s really exciting. - GERMINAZIONE - P.S. = Periodo da quando tolgo il seme dall’involucro fino al settimo giorno (una settimana) conterò questa settimana di germinazione a parte e le 5 settimane successive come vegetativa. Settimane totali dall’innesto del seme: (6 settimane piene prima di girarle in fioritura). Ciao amici !! Dopo aver tolto i semi di Gorilla Girl f1 fast version di Sweet Seeds dal proprio involucro abbiamo proceduto con l’inserimento di 3 di questi nei soil plug, mentre uno l’abbiamo fatto germinare nella carta/cotone, mantenendo i semi bagnati e umidi per i primi 3/4 giorni, tempo necessario per far “sbocciare” il seme. Una volta notata l’inizio della plantula abbiamo innestato i soil plug (e il seme singolo) negli appositi vasi, rinvigorendo il terreno con la giusta quantità d’acqua. (Terreno già concimato una settimana prima)
