week 5 was great. she really focused on getting fat this time. and shes been getting soooo frosty. the camera really doesnt do her justice. also she use to give off a pretty strong kush smell when i would water her but i noticed she hasnt been giving ANY smell recently. She does however smell very strong when i squeeze her nugs and smell my fingers. she has a very strong lemony smell with a hint of a kushy gassy smell. Every 2 days ive been giving her a gallon of dechlorinated tap water phd to 6.3 ph with 2 tsps or 10ml of dyna groom bloom nutrients.

Day 80, 2nd of December 2020: Tall and twisted look at the main stalk haha.... Nice plant clearly she wi be a green pheno the small bonsai version is purple :) Not problem at all but i noticed something. She may be a bit hermie because the bracets are so strange. I am not sure yet may be the nature of the gentics. Anyways all good she is developing buds but slower than the other one Lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week. Let's see what happnes next Hehe :)

Week 6 flower. Not much to report with this one. Growing very slow, little buds, smell musky and not very nice but improving, very frosty and getting frostier. Watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17. Day 36 flower I turned off Blumat drip and will water with the watering wand from here on out. Just another potential runaway dripper so I eliminated the risk. I will just build another reliable system with a timer and use the Blumat outside. Thanks for the view! Have a great week!

Week 9 flower is coming to an end and the Sour Diesel still has about a week to go. I could chop it down now with no complaints I think, the heads are mostly cloudy, no amber, but I’d like these foxtail like growths to fill out, if possible, now that they popped out. Think I had the light intensity to high and far along into flower and that’s why the GG#4 had a few nanners pop late, just displayed the stress in different ways, but what the hell do I know lol 😂. Flowers seem hard and dense but look a little weird with foxtails and the tips are stretched strangely and can see a bit of the centre stalk on a few lower and further from the light. The foxtail growth is also happening lower down as well which makes me think genetics, I dunno? Stripped most the large leaves that I could easily get at and just watering still letting the soil stay a bit on the dryer side, but consistent. Steadily lowering the humidity the best I can and manage, but it’s a bit difficult as I took down the humidifier to clean and get ready for harvest and got the dehumidifier going, but got another cold snap coming through and it’s dry outside and the house heat is running, don’t have a clean filter for the humidifier now, trying to get it right, right to the end, but Mother Nature is making my unnatural grow difficult lol. Let me just say I had to combine 2 grow cycles because this strain was a bit of a pain in the ass ..as you can see the first time all my plants hermied but on this last run I came out with some pretty great looking /tasting bud that gets you almost too high!

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. From seed - LA Kush Cake - Just about done- Started flush three days ago. Very stinky and sticky now- piney lemon aromas of stankkkk kushhhh La kush cake can run into mid October but going to pull sooner than 15th probably… Caterpillars became very active last week and I’ve been picking one off my my top cola every twelve hours or so :/ … luckily they’ve focused on two specific plants so just babying them now making sure they don’t destroy all my gorgeous work. Lil buggards burrow into the nugs decay the buds fast so precious state right now during this time of year/ state of plant.

9/6 Didn't do a video this morning. Went over again around noon and defoliated what needed it. I noticed what looked like stem mold on the special kush that those locusts have STRIPPED and saw what looked like mold but I left it and assumed it was just a bite out because it wad right at a node. I removed a major branch the other day. When I got back around noon the spot had tripled in size and was 100% mold. I cut that branch off too. The plant IS frosty but it's not ready. You cant see it but the calyx is pink. There are some branches that are completely stripped. They like the special kush for some reason and seem to target that. I should go over at night and see what I can see. Pink kush is flowering fairly aggressive. Not as much as the natural mk ultra though. I cant believe how fast those are exploding. As long as weather permits the pink kush will finish. I tried the special kush #1 which I'm almost done trimming and it wad amazing. Really eases anxiety and hits me square in the eyes. Very sedative happy strain. Tastes like pine, skunk and something I can't quite identify. Maybe the forest? I'm incredibly happy with the outcome.

What's up Growmies🤟🏽. Week # 8 is in the books🙌🏾 Hello week #9💪🏾 I went a little overboard on pictures this week, they are so happy and healthy that I got carried away. I know we are supposed to post pictures with the lights off, however it's something about the contrast it gives with the lights on that makes it look sexy to me😁. I have had to tie the stalks of both White LSD plants due to heavy sagging. I'm noticing with this strain the stalks seem to topple over even though the buds are far from fully developed. A trellis net probably would be ideal however I hate them. They are easy to put on but very difficult to take off come harvest. I use garden wire and string them as if they are puppets being controlled by the puppet master🤪. I continue my feeding schedule with the recommended "bloom" concoction using general hydroponics Flora series trio. I give them 1 liter every 3 days. I have them on a 2 to 2 cycle (feed them twice with nutes and then twice with plan water) I keep the p.h. around 6.1 to 6.6. Temps and humidity are in the perfect range I'm enjoying it while it last because spring and summer in VA makes it difficult to keep the humidity in check. All in all everything is going well for me and my ladies. I hope the same for all of you.
