Day 16 Notes Took a few fan leaves off from the top they was blocking precious light... I watered with about 1.5lt I used. 1.3ml of bio grow to 2lt of tap water. Week 3 Flower To start the week off she was given a maintenance flush. This is the last m/flush she'll be given, until she starts her 2+ week flush at the end of her cycle. It's just as, if not more important than the first m/flush, as there could be more leftover nutrients than the first from being given heavier strength feedings. It's a good way to flush out the excess nutrients that can no longer be uptaken by the plant, and replace them with a fresh bloom feed so she can keep building her flowers. She clearly needs it as she already has good sized top buds for this early stage of flower. Silicon has been reduced to the norm now she's over her main stretch, and the base nutrients have been adjusted based around a 1:2:3 ratio, but favouring ﹰFloraﹰBloom. I've started using Green leaf nutrinets Bud Explosion in small amounts, to increase bud sites and calyx production. Their Sweet Candy is also now being included; this should improve the flavour and aroma. I'm doing a proper test with these on a clone from the Bubble Kush that I made a diary for, as this is a fairer test because I can compare to her first run. Along with her great calyx production, she's now starting to produce plenty of trichomes, and will soon frost up well throughout flower. Overall, a very happy and healthy looking girl so far. Both the girls are doing very well and are continuing to stretch. No problems at all from either one of the plants. They deff started sprouting there pistols and where Alaskan purple fell behind in veg, she is now ahead in the flowering stage. The bottom leaves shrivelled which I am aware this will happen during this stage so I cut them off and there is a little nutes burm on Alaskan purple so the next two feedings will be with distilled water with pH of 6.5.

This week, the plant continued to develop with no major issues. However, signs of a magnesium and calcium deficiency have started to appear, which may require adjustments in the nutrient schedule with Calmag. The plant was watered once with clear, pH-adjusted water to maintain a stable environment. A mild yet distinct aroma has also begun to emerge, hinting at the plant’s unique character as it matures. Overall, growth is progressing well despite the minor nutrient deficiencies.

Week 11 - Lemon Cherry cookies Auto the smell on these enhanced by 60% in the last couple days. This will be the last week of flower I’m going to let the pot dry another day. Then it will sit in 48hrs of darkness before I karate chop them. This has be the hardest decision on when to chop. It’s very unique how both plants look very different The purple one smells exactly like lemon cherry candy while the multi colored one smells like a lemon Cookie. Happy growing good luck everyone !

Week 7 Flower: Looking okay considering only 182 watt LED light. PPFD not in range for flowering cannabis plant so not sure how long until harvest, might do a 10 week flower.

All good so far, will need to lower ph next feed. Lights have been dropped down to intensify currently putting out 500ppfd at 60cm

Surf Purp Week 6 Flower The last week before flush. All nutrients apart from PK and sugars have been stopped. This brought the ppm/EC down, plus Remo Bloom was reduced slightly now they're not so hungry. With that being said I'm still using a lot more with this line than I'm used to. Only because the remo nutrients feeding chart lists them so strong, which I'm already a lot lower than. In future I'll try reducing them and see how they cope and perform, but that's just part of dialing it in to your own specific set up. Now that they're close to flush they're starting to get slightly more pale, with #2 and #4 showing some purpling too. This is because they are slowly coming to the end of their cycle, so they no longer need heavy feedings and are now eating less and beginning to cannibilise. They're all very frosty and giving off an insane amount of smell. At this point I'm more or less certain that #4 is a keeper, with the most unique terpene profile out of the 4 females. It smells like rotting candy/fruit with a lot of gas ⛽ it's also a close call between #1&2, as they're very similar to each other yet so different to #4. These two have the sweetest, most pungent smell of blueberries but with very slight differences between them that could change more throughout flush (and even after drying and curing). The keeper from these two will more than likely be decided after drying and curing. One or two of the main cola's on #4 are way too close to the light, with one top bud showing clear signs of burning. When you look closely, parts of the burns are brown as you would expect, and others are bleached white. These are both from heat and light damage, and aren't ideal. But, it's only the one bud on one plant so I'm not going to stress over it. In fact, she's smelling that incredible that you wouldn't even know! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊
